I should have told my neighbors to ask for a quote before scheduling so I take responsibility for that, but never did it occur to me that the price would be so high for one outlet! Is this the going rate for outlet repair or was this an opportunity to rip off the elderly?

He went to his truck to get a replacement and my power was restored to my garage within 10 minutes of his arrival (if not sooner.) May have worked out for other people but not for me, I guess what I needed done wasn't worth his precious time. Don't bother wasting your time with calling these guys, they just show up and tell you it's crap and they can fix anything only to never hear from them again. There was an unexpected snafu during the installation and they solved the issue in a matter of hours; my builder apparently had not really done the main breaker correctly. It is correct now! They were middle of the road, but I like their professionalism. I don't even call anyone else for an estimate anymore, I go straight to them. They get you in timely, and do good work. I would give them 5 stars except last time, the guy forgot my appointment. I called the office 15 minutes past, and he apparently forgot to write it down and double booked. Unfortunately, my house was being painted the next day, so I had to get the exterior light changed that day. He made it before I left for work. I let him in, and he let himself out. I won't let one bad apple spoil the bunch for me on this one though. I'll continue to use them on all my projects. Their reasonably priced, and their quotes are always spot on.
