Jackson Remodeling & Repair finished our entire basement. They came in and framed, ran electrical,…read moreinstalled lighting, ran plumbing, built a bathroom, installed shower/toilet/vanity, installed flooring in the main area, installed tile in the bathroom, drywalled walls and ledges, painted, built a custom "quartz island", built a bedroom, hung doors, and installed casing/trim throughout. The basement is now gorgeous and comfortable to enjoy; I believe that the high-quality work is apparent as soon as you walk through the door. Jackson Remodeling probably completed work that I inadvertently failed to mention above, but the point I am trying to make is that it was a big residential job, in my opinion. It is definitely a big deal for my family as we begin to use and enjoy our new home. The people that Kendall and Tennille brought into our home to do the various jobs were all respectful, helpful, informative, timely, and good at what they did. Tennille was my point person for the length of the entire project, from initial bid/estimate through completion. The project spanned over several months, and I had many questions during that time. Tennille was very responsive to my questions and was very proactive in her communications to me as the project progressed. Coordinating and scheduling all of the jobs, workers, subcontractors, and deliveries can be a complex job. Tennille kept me informed throughout the process while also ensuring that her timeline worked with my schedule and the schedule of my family. Tennille has also checked in with me after the work was completed. While the project is complete, I am confident that Tennille, Kendall, and the Jackson Remodeling team will continue to stand behind their work. If I am ever in need of remodeling services moving forward, I will be connecting with Jackson Remodeling & Repair before even considering working with another company. Thank you!

Be forewarned.... if anything does not turn out as planned, you, the customer, will be paying for…read moreit. We replaced 2 countertops, with 2 identical sinks and faucets. The sinks were discontinued, so they sent one of the old model and one new one. We were assured the difference in the look of the sinks would be barely noticeable. WRONG! They are both undermount sinks, the sink walls should be flush with the countertop cutout. When installed, the new sink looked great....however the discontinued sink was installed with an overhang of 1/2 inch all around. That does not look good and they certainly do not look the same, even from across the room. But this was not the countertop installers fault nor the sink manufacturer's fault, nor SK Cabinetry's fault.... but became ours...the customer. WHAT?? If we wanted the sinks/counters to look alike we would have to pay for the new countertop and probably a new sink (for the second time). Even the guy that did our tile backsplash was appalled in the way it looked and that SK did not make it right. In the end we have a very disappointing outcome and will not be using them again.

This was my first time ever in a showroom like this (other than home Depot). The selection of…read morequartz countertops was excellent. There were also plenty of cabinet choices, but they did not have the stain of walnut I was looking for. Overall the style was more modern so there were a lot of painted options and more grey toned everything. There is a small selection of tile and hardware, but it is all very nice and contemporary. I found several I really liked. They actually had lots of non-subway tile options, so I was appreciative of that! The process seems simple. They estimated 6 weeks lead time, I believe. We are in the design phase of a new home, so won't be purchasing anything for at least 6 months, so I can't speak to prices. Also our builder will be handling everything. Only reason I took off a star is the lighting in there is SO POOR. It's like a movie theater. Dark with a few spotlights. I kept having to carry everything to the window, but even then there was a glare. It was very difficult to see and it was frustrating.

We met Leanne and discussed different granite options and pricing. She showed us some awesome granite she had onsite. We decided to go with a perfect selection that would accent our cabinets and new room colors. We scheduled the measuring and decided to accent our hearth with the same granite in the kitchen. Our open concept area was going to be free flowing and was a great suggestion. Installation day finally arrived, the guys were professional and considerate throughout the day. The care and attention to detail was amazing. We are so happy with the results, I would recommend The Rock Shop to anyone who is looking to remodel, using granite or other rock, to check out The Rock Shop.
