The store had a wide variety of everything: art, home furnishings, clothing for men and women, some vintage pieces, jewelry, and accessories. There were also books, and lots of things to explore and examine! We found several items that we needed/wanted and the quality of the merchandise was much higher than we would typically find at a Goodwill or other type of shop. In addition she takes card payment through Square and shoppers can use Visa, American Express, Mastercard at the shop! We also had the opportunity to meet Mary, the owner and proprietress of this minority-owned (female/African American) small business. Mary answered all our questions and allowed us to browse without interfering in our shopping experience but was mindful and observant of the things that we were looking for. She unobtrusively offered valuable suggestions when asked if certain items were in-stock and knowledgably directed us to the things she had that we wanted. When we spoke with Mary, she said she has been in the mall for about a year and would love to welcome you to visit her and see what she has to offer. She takes quality consignments as well. We give this location 5 X 5 Stars and will 100% be visiting the next time we are at the Mall. We invite everyone to stop by and say that Kate and Blair sent you!

My boyfriend and I had stopped here without knowing such a masquerade mecca existed, but it became clear pretty fast: Balloons, Etc. & The Costume Emporium has a high cool factor if you're open to whacky stuff and associated oddities. The staff member was also friendly and open to answering my questions. Because when you're in a place this curious, you're bound to be wondering a thing or two! Needless to say, my inner young kid spirit was on full display, much like the many masks presented across the store. I wish there were more treasures like this shop. I give it my support, and you should, too. You might even be inspired to buy something you don't need (yet)!

The store manager, Tom, seems to know what I want or need before I tell him the exact details. He's very knowledgeable. This big and tall store has unique products that make you feel good about wearing them. I've always been impressed with the wide range of sizes and colors. If you can't find it here, they will order it. If there is one thing I could change, it would be to lower the prices just a tad. I can't always afford (or wish) to buy two of an item just to get a price break. Also, the hours have been cut back a little but that's easy to work around. Overall, they are doing a good job of keeping things affordable. I am a member of the Casual Male rewards program and get plenty of helpful offers. It's about the only rewards program I really value or use. I'd encourage you to sign up because of the great coupon offers. This store is awesome but again, let me say I really appreciate the friendly service. It keeps me coming back as a loyal customer.

The owner is always helpful and asks if you would like complimentary coffee or wine while shopping. They also always have some sort of deal/special going on which is great. The only problem I have with this boutique is they do not really have very many clothing choices for individuals that are petite and of smaller body frame. I have this difficulty with many boutiques, but it would be nice to see a boutique offer petite sizes as it is frustrating to go shopping and everything is too long or wide.
