a package of shrimp in plastic wrap
Lyndsey S.

I avoid going to this Price Chopper if possible. However, it's close to work so today was an exception. First and foremost, if you find yourself here always, always, always check the expiration dates on your purchases. On more than one occasion it wasn't until I got home that I discovered my dairy products to be expired. I was hoping to speak with someone at the seafood counter to buy shrimp but it was a ghost town. Additionally, you'll see the package of shrimp in the photo is past the sell by date. The lights are dim and the employees are nowhere to be found. If you want to find something, you're on your own. Also, if you're looking to find healthy foods or healthy alternatives..this is not your place. There's no selection. They have a huge parking lot out front and a dollar section but I'd rather drive the extra 5-10 minutes out of the way so I don't have to go here.

The employees are consistently friendly and knowledgeable, and many of them have worked at this store for several years. I especially love how passionate the makeup gals are about their products. They are absolutely willing to do everything they can to help their customers, including matching your skin color to help find the perfect shade of foundation. Sure it feels a little awkward to sit in a makeup chair at Walgreens but it's totally worth it. I also really like the health clinic at this Walgreens store. It's easy to make an appointment online, and the woman I've seen by over the past year is THE BEST. She's super sweet, and she really knows her stuff. I highly recommend paying her a visit the next time you have the sniffles. So happy to have this store close to my house. I always have a great experience when I pop in!

The ONLY reason we keep our scripts here is because they are the closest 24-7 pharmacy near us and sometimes we have crazy hours and need to be able to pick up our prescriptions at all times. Honestly, they would benefit from a complete overhaul. Half their staff at the pharmacy here has no idea what they're doing. You can clearly tell there is a gap in training. if you do not need a 24 hour pharmacy I do not recommend this one at all.

Both pharmacists worked to squeeze me in and I appreciated that. I didn't want to come back the next day. I see 1 and 2 star reviews but I don't think people understand that the pharmacists are busier than one armed paper hangers while I'm sure upper management believes the pharmacists aren't busy enough. Many healthcare providers are running on a skeleton crew so if anyone feels they're not getting the help they want, those are corporate policies. Pharmacists have no say. The bean counters make decisions even though they have no professional degree or license. The people working in the store were very nice too. In this case, pharmacy and store employees are asking unvaccinated people to wear masks but they aren't allowed to ask to see each person's vaccine passport. That's ridiculous! It appears that corporate may have cut down on cashiers so I'd suggest people keep calling corporate rather than shooting the messenger. These are tough times for everyone. Give them a break.

She was rude to me on two separate occasions, and when I asked where a particular product was located, I had to ask three times before she actually answered my question. Her behavior was so unprofessional that it genuinely caught me off guard. Thankfully, two other employees were helpful, courteous, and professional, which made the contrast even more striking. They demonstrated exactly what customer service should look like. No one should have to deal with that kind of attitude simply for doing their job. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, because one employee's behavior should not undermine the professionalism of the rest of the statt.

It's…read moresquatty in places if you get my meaning, but what it lacks in height it makes up for in panache. Some of the best pateseries I've seen in a common hoi polloi market, I'll say. The deli section is second to none, and the meat counter is formidable with a capital F. Everyone seems well put together, and no one seems disenchanted by the long hours placing box on shelf, so that's refreshing. Albeit, their prices are of the posh variety if you can manage it, but, their sale ad is downright welfare at times! I believe I got my thanksgiving turkey here for a song and a handshake - while other establishments across the city tripled their admission fee for such a pleasure. I know what they're doing, I worked in retail before - and I dig it! It's not such a large place, but it's got the goods going for it. This place seems like the way grocery stores aought to be, in-line with the stores of the 50's where the meat guy knew when you'd get your bonus, and he'd have that ribeye ready to go when you walked through the door. It's a fancy dandy, and that's a refreshing take on todays drab disenchantment of gainful employ. I'll frequent often, and you can take that to the bank!
