I was told my AC compressor and stuff along with it was bad and if I fixed that my problem would be solved. Paid them for the diagnostic, then paid for the parts and labor, around $2000 later I thought we were good only to have the AC go out again. Took it back to Charlie's only for him to say "there's an electrical issue." How did you not find it before? Why would you fix something without fixing the actual issue first? Ridiculous. Since this happened, they don't seem to think they are responsible and don't even contact me back with an explanation.

Had a burnt clutch on my Mustang, told them I wanted a Mcleod Clutch and they told me to order it…read more I did, dropped it off and they said they would take care of it. Got my car back and it ran like crap. Felt like a cable was slapping around, back up lights did not work (They did prior) and the clutch chattered a lot. They told me to let the clutch slip and it would wear down. Brought it to Bob's Automotive in Sunrise. They told me the transmission mount was ruptured, the transmission was only held in with three bolts, the throw out bearing was never changed and my clutch cable was extremely loose. The pressure plate was warped and the back up switch was damaged. Had to re-pay to have the transmission done again. Car runs great now. I also paid less for a new clutch and labor then Gold Coast charged me for just labor...so not a good experience.

I followed their advice and went to Price Auto in Tavernier, Florida. It's not often that you can say that it was a great experience however it ceratainly was. Every mechanic that I met was excellent. They could not have been more attentive. I don't write reviews but I feel they should be recognized for their service. I opted to purchase 2 new rear tires. Bobby at Price offered many choices. I chose Kenda but got little in the way of recommendation or support for my choice. The tires arrived a day later than promised, which spoiled a day of vacation. But they were mounted quickly and expertly. Prices were typical, neither good nor bad. The tires they sold me were second tier models, and more than a year old. I'd have preferred newer ones. Phone communication was very good. There is no waiting room there so one is left to wander the streets while repairs are being made.

There was nothing wrong with my transmission. I simply wanted it serviced since my truck has 79k miles. I went in for an estimate and the shop wanted to replaced other parts . I was told failure to replace the suggested parts would for sure cause my transmission to fail. I was given the price and I went into shock! I knew I needed a second opinion. I arrived at this shop explained what I wanted and what I was told at the other shop. The owner then told me that I did not need anything other than an oil change! He told me to come back when I reached another 30k miles to service it again. I was given a very reasonable quote and they performed the oil change. I saved many hundreds of dollars. My biggest problem was the customer service. The mechanic (whose first language was not English) had problems locating the proper jack fitting for my Tesla. Then he claimed that the tire could not be repaired. It was a simple plug fix but he wanted to either patch or replace the tire. It was only resolved when a manager became involved. Very nice lady manning the front desk but again seemed confused. Might be a one off but I probably would not recommend if other options are available.
