I came here on a Saturday night, and I made a reservation. This place is located in the strip mall with the Domino's. The inside is simply decorated with a few decorations on the walls. All the tables have white tablecloths on them. They have two rooms together. I was surprised this place wasn't packed for a Saturday night. Hot bread and BASIL DIPPING OIL was put on our table. I started with CALAMARI FRITTI aka fried Calamari. It came with marinara sauce and a spicy sauce for dipping. It was very good. I also ordered the appetizer portion of EGGPLANT ROLLATINI- eggplant stuffed with ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese in a fresh tomato sauce. It was light and delicious. For my entree I ordered SEAFOOD LINGUINE-with shrimps, clams, calamari, mussels, linguine in a marinara sauce. The presentation was lovely. The flavor was very good, and I really enjoyed my dish. My boyfriend ordered VEAL OSSO BUCCO- it was a special. He ate everything on his plate. For dessert we shared a CREME BRULEE- it was rich and creamy.I also got a cappuccino. This place is a BYOB! Down and across the street on Washington Valley Rd in the pheasant run shopping mall is a really good liquor store named Wine Central. Nice ambiance and a menu that seemed to have every classic Italian dish you could want. But we were there for the Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Endive salad was light and tasty but would have been more appropriate at the end of the meal. Turkey was excellent. A huge mound of mashed potatoes was nothing special. The stuffing was tasty but meager. Although included as part of the meal, they forgot to plate it and we had to request it. One of our party found several bones in her stuffing. Although any desserts could have been ordered alacarte, we stuck to those offered as part of the fixed dinner. The apple strudel was enjoyed but the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée was a major disappointment. It was like a loose pie filling- without much flavor- and far from the custard it should have been. I would go back to taste the Italian dishes. read more

First visit on a Monday evening, not crowded. Staff seemed very amenable, I ordered the shrimp & scallops special which was really good, nice and hot. My wife had the veal with capers which was good but not hot enough, but we sent it back for reheating and it came out nice & hot. We had a nice quiet dinner and enjoyed the food very much, but it was a bit on the pricey side (which seems to be the norm these days). Definitely worth a visit, but similar restaurants in the area are a little less expensive. Our dining experience was pleasurable and we will probably return, though not on a regular basis because of the cost. I don't want this to sound negative - we had a very nice time. read more

I had my 50th Birthday party in their private room. All I can say is WOW!! The food was amazing and my guests did nothing but compliment me on how delicious everything was. Not only that, the food kept coming! The appetizers seemed endless. Everyone left with a full belly. The wait staff was nothing more than spectacular. They were so accomodating to my guests, very friendly and on top of things. No one had to wait for a drink or a meal. This is my second review, this time for the restaurant's banquet room. We held our rehearsal dinner here in November and everyone was blown away. Our family is still mentioning how good the rehearsal dinner was. We had a bit over 50 guests and everything was handled perfectly, even some table numbering/chair reordering an hour before when we had a few last minute changes to our guest list. The food was incredible. We were expecting each table to maybe have a hot appetizer sampler plate and a cold appetizer sampler plate, but each appetizer came out as it's own plate. Cheese, meats, eggplant rollatini, calamari, marinated mushrooms, fried mozzarella, bruschetta, so much food that a few guests thought the appetizers were really family style entrees. After appetizers, we had delicious pene vodka, then a fresh salad, followed by entrees ordered table-side. Dessert was creamy tiramisu that tasted like my family's homemade version. Staff did an excellent job of serving/clearing between courses and they made sure our BYOB'd wine was flowing. Decor was excellent, furniture was solid, nice linens, not at all what you would typically expect from a shopping strip mall restaurant, and we were definitely pleased with our choice of Prezzo for our rehearsal dinner. read more

Went here with a friend who has Celiac Disease. She called ahead to make sure they could accommodate her with a Carefully prepared, dedicated workspace for a Gluten Free Meal. They said yes, no problem. She was sick for 4 days. They are NOT Gluten Free. Do NOT go here if you have a gluten allergy. We also went at Thanksgiving. 2 tables at 5pm. Service was rushed. Food was inedible. Minuscule amount of turkey and stuffing. Why!??? Why say you're having a fixed menu for Thanksgiving and what? Did you run out of food?? We will never go back. Awful. read more

Horrible service!! Came in to eat during a family trip and treated like trash because we were dressed in casual clothes. Waiter barely came to check on us and treated us hatefully while checking on better dressed patrons. I didn't leave him a tip due to his horrible attitude. He then told me I had to tip so I gave a small tip and he then told me it was insulting. I told him I would have tipped more if he was nicer. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me he was the owner and to never come back. I have never been treated so hatefully! I do not recommend this restaurant! read more

Tonight, my family hosted a private party in one of the two dining rooms at Prezzo... and they did a spectacular job. Food was well prepared and service was great. Considering there were 80 guests and entertainment, they handled the party exceptionally and with grace. Excellent catering experience! Our guests were RAVING about the food all day and they are a tough crowd to impress. Many went for seconds and thirds. I'm visiting my Mom from CA and asked her where she would want to go for her bday dinner and she chose Prezzo's! Now, I can see why... We had about five people and got a nice round table so we could all see each other and converse. The atmosphere was real lively, with lots of couples and families. We brought our own wine and vodka, so drank at our own expense and pace. Ordered calamari fritti, gnocchi, and crab cakes for apps which were all very good! All of the entrees that we had were excellent, except my Aunt had to send back the filet because it was a little too rare. But the veal, salmon, lobster ravioli, and rigatoni were all a home run! Wouldn't hurt to call ahead, especially on Friday and Saturday! Oh, and tiramisu and cappuccino are a must to end your meal!! read more

We placed a take-out order for Mother's Day, since Italian is one of my mom's favorite foods, but a cuisine we rarely indulge in at home. My family got the Linguine alle Vongole with white clam sauce, mozzarella en carozza, rigatoni, pollo scarpariello, eggplant rolatini whole wheat spaghetti, pan-Seared Salmon, and shrimp Scampi (added scallops). It was ready within the hour to be picked up, coming out to $159 without tip. Every dish was EXCELLENT, and everyone was extremely pleased with their entree. I can attest to the pollo scarpariello being my future go-to dish when we order from here next. Please note also, the portions are incredibly generous, so expect to have 2-3 meals from just one order. read more

Great experience. Last night had chicken scarparriello on the bone which is a quintessential Italian entree. Made excellently with sausage, cherry peppers and sprinkling of potatoes. Hard to find this in NJ, but Prezzo hit a home run. In addition the service was splendid and the atmosphere upbeat which made for a nice evening. This is normally the case at Prezzo where host Remzi oversees the operation meticulously and ensures customer delight. Not only is the food great and the service, but the prices are very affordable. This is much preferred over places like Alfie, Bruno or Lukas. There is a reason why his regular customers prefer Prezzo as their go to place. read more

Prezzo has always been a consistent outstanding Italian restaurant. We went on a Sunday evening and felt like we were in a different place. The restaurant was empty so no excuse for the kitchen getting slammed. Ordered 2 Caesar salads. When it arrived it looked as though it was a half order. I was done after 7 bites. Very skimpy portion. Next the 2 of us ordered Calamari with linguini. They came out with clams and linguini . Had to wait for the correct dishes to come out. They weren't any better... We sent one dish back because the pasta was over cooked and the calamari was tough. The other dish was again, skimpy. Not much fish and hardly any pasta. The dish was disappointing and didn't taste the same as it had. Lettuce isn't expensive so why serve a tiny amount. Also, pasta is cheap as well. What's the value in serving less? Overall, very disappointing. Will be a long while before we go back. The owner wasn't there so wondering if that had something to do with it. Something is off at Prezzo. read more

We've eaten at Presso a half dozen times in the last few years because it is centrally located and has a "party room." Sometimes we meet/eat in the party room, sometime there are only a handful of us, so we take a table in the main dining room. When we order off the menu the food is ok (3 or 4 stars), but last night (a Wednesday night at 7pm) there were about a 12 of us (I think they expected more) and preorder. We were in the party room in a LARGE square table, which made talking to more than the person next to you difficult. But this is a review of the food, which was YUCK. It was a 4 course meal: Penne pasta with vodka sauce, a salad, choice of eggplant, talapa, chicken or veal) and coffee & dessert (tiramisu?) for which we paid $40 (all inclusive of tip and tax). The penne was tasty. The salad was over vinegared and very small. But the worst was the main course. My veal seem to have been kept on a steam table for a long time before being served and the "marsala" was more like gravy master. My husband's chicken was so thin and swimming in its sauce (both the veal and chicken were pounded to death). The person sitting next to me ordered the talapia, and I noticed he ate very little of it. I've had much better meals at diners for 1/4 the price!. It is not as if they were super busy since the main dining room was less than 1/2 full. I am going to suggest to our club organizer that we select a different local restaurant to meet/eat, of which here are many in Warren! read more

One of the many Italian places in Warren NJ. Typical Italian Restaurant. Nice little decor inside. Good amount of tables and seats. Staff are hard at work in the back cooking and putting food together. We were served a nice little italian bread before our meal. This place had no wines of some sort, but they said we can bring our own next time we come back. Thats good to know. Chicken parm over pasta was a good meal for myself. It was Christmas Eve. We had a reservation at another local, Warren restaurant, but when we got there, chaos reigned, with grumbles from the seated overcrowded restaurant. We left quickly, and I suggested that we see if Prezzo Restaurant, previously we knew as Torino, could seat us, and thankfully they DID! The restaurant was decked out in Christmas splendor; we were seated promptly in a great table; the waiter served us our BYOB wine, and we immediately ordered the most delicious delicately fried calamari appetizer I ever tasted! That was only the beginning: waiters were very friendly, gracious and gave excellent service. My wife ordered shrimp with risotto, which was delicious, and I ordered delicately sauteed fish with oven roasted potatoes and delicious veggies! Tartufo topped off a truly spectacular dinner! Me and my girlfriend have been here on 3 separate occasions. The first two times the food was good, but the second time she ordered a pasta mixed with vegetables and it came out totally unseasoned. We asked our waitress to switch the dish for something else we have had in the past so we would not run into this issue again and she said that was okay. She then proceeded to bring the exact dish with extra olive oil and garlic slapped onto it. We explained again that we were not gonna like it and that we wanted something else but she said that was the only thing we can eat because "if you guys ask for another dish, you will keep switching it for other dishes." We were deeply offended by this and just did not eat it at all besides what I ordered. To top that all off, they took the dish away and still had us pay for it. If you are a younger person trying to go to out to eat, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. They will not treat you right and will take advantage of you just because of your age. I never been more embarrassed. Terrible! read more

I will never go back. The last 2 times we went we were appalled by how poor the service was. We did give it another shot 2 weeks ago.....it was a Saturday night and not at all busy which would suggest that the wait staff would be responsive. Not the case - service was how I've begun to expect from Prezzo: very poor. We sat 15 minutes before a waiter came to the table. We were a party of 4 and this was our experience: (1) made mistake on our appetizer; (2) got 2 if the four entrees wrong and blamed us us for the mistake; (3) the owner never came to the table to take responsibility or to apologize. I will overlook some things but in all honesty, the food is not good enough to compensate for the unprofessional service we received. I have already told friends and acquaintances about my experience. read more

Service was terrible! Food was over cooked and swimming in sauce. All three of our dishes were served that way. They took our wine glasses so that we would leave. Instead of saying we close at 10, they just starting to remove everything from the table. We were still drinking and having our dessert. Well managed, attractive Italian with reliably good food and service. Remzi, the owner, has eyes all over the room and keeps you feeling important to him. The pastas, especially the specials, are exceptional. I had the sole francese the other night and it was the best version of this dish I've ever had. The prices are in line with other "better" Italians in the area but the byob feature allows for a very nice meal for two well under a hundred dollars.
