Totally fantastic experience! I dealt with Greg who is their most senior and experienced realtor and it shows. He was approachable, personable, and just all around nice and understanding. He was beyond forthcoming and really did go the extra mile time and time again to work with me to make sure everything went smoothly. I can't say how great greg was enough, he really did make what was before myself looking for properties on my own to an expirenece that was quick and reasonable. When showing me properties he didn't try to oversell or hide things, he told me exactly what to expect pros and cons and laid it out for me. He didnt push for the biggest commission he really does know how to work in the service industry and his level of service is classy and fantastic. My partner and I applied to our dream apartment through Preview Properties, but we were told another prospective renter had a better salary so we were beat out for the apartment after a week long process. We had to pay a non-refundable application fee of $25/tenant which came to $75 for our group. Come to find out, the apartment was relisted on the market for $425/month more than what it was listed for when we applied, and it's still on the market- it was not given to the other couple like they had told us. Very deceitful and unprofessional. read more

My second property manager was decent, although the broken items in my home that I notified the first property manager about when I filled out the home inventory have still not been fixed. I am worried that I will be charged for the repairs if I leave this year (even though the items are noted in the inventory AND I requested that they be fixed over a year ago). Additionally, guidelines for maintaining specific appliances were part of my lease, but the appliances were never provided and I had an addendum that such appliances were actually forbidden on the premises. The rent went up when I renewed, which is not really surprising. The issue is that items were not fixed the first time they were requested, and I had to contact the property manager again to deal with the results of not fixing something correctly the first time (a year ago). This year, the first property manager reached out to me - trying to coordinate photographing the home for advertising - and I have not yet notified the company of my plans to stay or go yet. This seems problematic as he is no longer in charge of my rental unit, nor do I plan to go through him to find a new home (if I leave). The last thing I want to do is have my personal property shown in images when I am still living here - especially if one property manager is trying to usurp the rental contract from another agent. read more

I wrote a much longer review which you can find on their Facebook page where I tagged them. The TL/DR version is that I worked with Caroline who was my agent. Prior to receiving money, she was willing to offer the moon, the stars and everything else to make this happen. Once she received $1750 as her fee, she took this as the opportunity to do nothing. I was relocated from one apartment to another, promised that I would get the kitchen remodeled and that it would be cleaned, and none of these actually happened. I had to work with two managers; Zach who finally made things work and Eric who threw in the towel and after promising to call me back couldn't bother to do so. It is also worth note, skimming down through all the 5.0 brief reviews that this company offers a small deduction on your realty fee if you post a review, meaning that people will post this before business is complete. I've never seen a company that pays you to write good reviews, but Preview Properties certainly does! This move, working with Preview Properties was perhaps the most unsatisfying stressful point in an already stressful move. I was lied to, cheated out of a decent apartment and in general received awful services. Preview Properties by way of mostly Caroline and then Zach somewhat spent more time bad mouthing my property manager than they did trying to work for their client. I posted a much more lengthy review with dates and times on their Facebook, and I will be contacting the realty board as well to file a complaint. read more

Considering I have no real assets I don't know why I feel threatened, but I just don't want to deal with that nutcase anymore. While I do not have experience with the relator themselves, They are listing addresses on Zillow of single family homes in the Oak Square area of Brighton that are not and have never been for rent--along with bogus pictures. I was told by Justin of Preview that this was normal for them and common practice so that other relators don't rent their listings. In Boston where people get an owner occupied abatement and where there are groups of home owners that have banded together to better their neighborhoods, it is a dishonest business practice that could cost an unsuspecting homeowner their abatement and or legal fees. It also has caused potential renters time and money uselessly driving by a property that was never listed. When my neighbor called she was told that another neighbor on the other side was looking to rent their apartment. Another single family home that is owner occupied and not for rent. Maybe one bad egg out of the bunch? We talked to more than one person at Preview and they think this is OK. Preview needs to realize deceiving potential customers and property owners is just BAD business. read more

I worked with an agent at PP, and recived poor customer service. At first he seemed like a normal realtor, found one of his ads on Craigslist, but upon meeting the agent, something just didnt feel right. Thw agent came off as he if had somewhere better to be. Like most realtors, there is some paperwork you need to sign that says you will pay a fee for signing with this particular office, the last line of the agreement brought up a concern. The agent could not answer our question and gave a reponse that pretty much was the complete opposite of what we signed. Nevertheless, we signed and were on our way to see some apartments. The apartments were not what we had in mind, but this is not why I am rating lowly. Like I mentioned, the agent acted like we were wasting his time. When we brought up concerns about the apartments and conditions, he would say something along the lines that all apartments are like that and 'oh that is really rare.' (My roommate and I are architectes, we know what to look for and have been living in Boston about 6 years, we are not new freshman nor moving/looking for the first time, we are seasoned renters, if you will). The agent lacked customer service and politeness. He is new to the industry and missed some important details about our questions or concerns. PP has received many reviews, but when it comes to an agent, get to know who has been working there and how long, in any office, a seasoned empolyee will really help you track down the perfect place. read more

The realtor and Property Manager for my apartment are both with Preview Properties. I have had a less than stellar experience: -The rent was hiked up a little from the posted price. I was told due to improvements they were going to make before I moved in. They only followed through on some of those improvements. -The realtor had a hard time getting the current tenant to let us in to see the apartment initially. Now, because of the experience I've had, I suspect maybe that tenant was just pushing back on the Property Manager. -The Property Manager, Ross Mason was incredibly unprofessional. In the first incident, he emailed asking if we were okay to show to prospective tenants at such and such date and time. I responded in the affirmative. And then, for some odd reason, he started emailing one of the other roommates that he'd never had communications with to notify he was coming over. Of course no one saw those emails so as a result he showed up a couple times with strangers while one us was in their underwear. Awkward! -A month away from move-out, Ross emailed us to say that he will make an initial inspection on the 28th and a final inspection after move out. He advised us to fill and paint any nail holes (that's usually covered under wear and tear but sure, whatever). On the 21st he emails us to say he is coming on the 22nd for an initial inspection and a final inspection on the 28th. When I call him to ask that we stick to the initial schedule he gets sort of nasty. He says he can come over whenever he wants with 24 hours notice and since he'll be in Cambridge it has to be tomorrow. (Keep in mind we're about 2 miles away from their office.) Then he tells me I'm being confrontational and sketchy. Just for wanting to stick to the plan mind you! This guy should not be in a client-facing role. read more

Had an excellent experience with Stephen J. at Preview Properties. From the time I emailed him about a listing I saw online to the time he handed me my new apartment keys (and thoughtful welcome goody bag!) he made it stress-free and professional and very accommodating. He was very responsive and patiently answered a million questions I had about the process, new property, etc. He provided thoughtful and expert solutions to tricky problems and offered many great ideas to help me along the way, including advice on how to list my current apartment online to find a subletter so I could move into my new place without losing money, estimated room sizes for me, even advised on furniture arrangement and storage solutions -- all things well above and beyond his job description. The paperwork process and additional administrative parts of the move were handled professionally and fast. I received copies of everything I signed and never felt rushed, pressured or tricked - all things that can really muddy the house(apartment)-hunting experience. I thought the positive reviews meant this place was an anomaly in the Boston real estate scene and may actually provide a positive customer experience. That proved to be far from true. I saw an apartment listing on Craigslist, which I followed up with Shant about as instructed by the post. There was no pet policy listed, so I asked about it. Shant's response was: "Thanks for the email. This ll will likely not accept a pet. Dog?" The lack of effort to complete a full sentence in an email to a potential client should have been the indicator that he's unprofessional, but I explained that I do have a dog and would love the opportunity for the landlord to meet us both. He fired back: "I am sorry I just said the landlord will not accept a pet.. No pets.." as if I had read his email incorrectly. No - you just don't seem to speak English. ​You said the landlord "will likely not accept a pet" and then asked if I have a dog. Can you read?​ He said: "Yes, because there are many clients that will rent an apartment based on the fact that they COULD have a pet. That's why I asked if you have a dog, can you think?" I have a pet. I need a place that will allow a pet. What is so difficult to understand here? Why would I want a place that COULD allow a pet? I guess you're right, Shant, I'm the one who can't think. read more

Had a great experience with Preview Properties. I finished undergrad this past spring and am moving to Boston this month to begin grad school, so I was looking for an affordable studio in the Brighton area with easy access to the T. Preview got the job done and made the process as stress-free as possible. On the day of my initial appointment to look at potential places, I arrived at the office to find that either me or the agent had gotten mixed up and he wasn't there to give me my tour. Not a problem... within 5 minutes they found another agent (Noel) who immediately went to work putting together a list of places I might be interested in. Within 15, we were out in the neighborhood looking at 5 or 6 places that all fit my general criteria. Not having a lot of experience apartment hunting, an unscrupulous realtor admittedly could probably put one over on me, but Noel made it clear that he was there to set me up with a place that worked for me, not just whatever would get him a commission. By later that afternoon the initial paperwork had been taken care of and Noel pulled everything together so I signed the lease the next day. I'm not at all surprised to see the abundance of positive reviews here. No pressure, no headaches, friendly office... plus they work primarily in the Brighton area so they really know the ins and outs of the neighborhood, which is a big plus. I would definitely go back to Preview in the future and have already encouraged a couple friends to do the same. read more

First (and most likely only) place you should go for apartment hunting. The place itself is gorgeous and very inviting. Being asked to wait here is something to actually look forward to. Originally, the apartment I wanted was taken. But the agent I worked with found me and my two other friends a great apartment in Brighton that we immediately acted upon with no hesitation, thanks to his smart recommendation. My experience with other agents has been people that have no social skills nor any knowledge of what they are showing, resulting in a "if you like what you see, let me know" kind of situation, whereas this agent knew exactly what we were looking for and gave us a great breakdown of what to expect and know about this apartment. This place is your best bet, do not bother with other places. read more

My girlfriend and I had to find an apartment in Boston all the way from Wisconsin, so we flew out and met with about 8-10 different Realtors. With all the utter crap we were being shown, we were on the verge of giving up before we met with Dustin at Preview Properties. "Dustin," we said, "we've seen the crappy apartments. We're not undergrads. Show us something nicer." And unlike every other Realtor we met with, Dustin ACTUALLY showed us nice, liveable places. But that's not all! Dustin helped negotiate on our behalf once we returned to Wisconsin, but he went above and beyond our expectations. When we couldn't have our first choice he found us a great other place and worked that one out. Not only that, but when there was a problem with the keys, Dustin picked us up after we got in from a red eye flight from LA (we were traveling) and took us to get the keys himself. All in all, Preview Properties is great, and Dustin Wonnell is the man. Ask for Dustin. He's awesome. read more

During my apartment hunt, I was working with Annie Cardillo and I would recommend her a thousand times over. I called Annie on a Friday afternoon and told her I was interested in a unit that was listed. Not only did she tell me more information about the unit, she was able to schedule an appointment to take video for me (as I am doing this from afar). She was able to recommend two units that were in the same building despite having shown interest in only one. We ended up really liking the recommendation she made. Unfortunately we didn't get that unit as someone else had just signed that day. However, she was very relentless in finding something that would be right for us. When I found a listing on Craigslist that I thought I would like, I sent it to her. She saved us the hassle of living with a picky landlord and made additional recommendations. After all was said and done, we ended up securing a unit that a friend had passed along to us and didn't need her service. She was very courteous and helpful even after we ended up not finding something through her. I would recommend her services over and over to anyone who is looking to secure a unit. read more

We initially had some issues with Preview Properties. However, Shant is the reason we stuck with them and we are glad we did. He was professional, funny and listened to our needs. He really worked with us to find a place that best suit us and we are so grateful. He was hopeful, enthusiastic and very friendly. He took several calls from us while he was on vacation, midnight, weekends, etc. I highly suggest people moving to Boston, especially college kids, to check out Preview Properties and hit up Shant. I don't think I can say enough awesome, positive things about Preview Properties, seriously. Let me tell you about our epic apartment hunt. We thought finding a nice, cat-friendly, reasonably-priced 2 bedroom apartment in Oak Square wouldn't be that difficult, and we were SERIOUSLY wrong. After using 10 different brokers and looking at 20 different places (these numbers are not exaggerated, I promise), we were getting desperate, and especially after having a disastrous experience with City Realty just down the street on Comm Ave, we wandered into Preview as a last resort. We sat down with the person at the front desk who took down our information and said she'd put us in touch with an agent, since there weren't any agents there at the time. We figured we'd never hear from them again. About 24 hours later, I get a phone call from an agent, Annie, who reviewed the information I had given the person at the front desk and promised to email us some listings. She sent us the listings within a few hours of our conversation, which was very impressive, and continued to send us listings as they came in until she found us the perfect apartment that had EXACTLY what we were looking for. She only showed us things within our price range and that matched what we were looking for. Throughout the process, Annie was nice, funny, helpful, easy to get in touch with, and all around awesome. On the day we went to pick up the keys, she gave us a welcome box to take to our new place that had all the essentials for moving in--toilet paper, a plunger, a screw driver, screws, nails, etc. There was also a letter from the owner of Preview Properties thanking us for our business and giving us his contact information, should we have any questions or need help getting acquainted in Boston. I am beyond impressed with my experience at Preview Properties and would recommend them, and Annie in particular, incredibly highly to anyone looking for an apartment in the Boston area. My expectations for brokers and real estate companies have never been very high, but Preview Properties blew them all away. This company not only took the stress out of finding an apartment, but they made it an enjoyable experience. read more

It was mine and my roommate's first time renting an apartment and wanted to make sure we did everything right. We saw an apartment we were interested in an my friend's was the one initially contacting Preview Properties (Ben S.), who I later met during the showing. We starting having problems from the start, but it didn't get serious until we were about to put down our first month's rent. I wanted to make sure that I got the proper receipt and that I preferred to sign the lease as I paid the first month's rent. He came back with "It's common practice to ask for one months rent with the application at the same time. I didn't ask you for months check but I should have. Once receive that, I'd be glad to sit down with you and explain the details as I understand this is your first time securing an apartment." I'm sorry if you thought you should have, that's not my problem if you didn't, even though it's common practice. Then you want me to pay FIRST before I understand the process? I don't think that's how businesses work unless you're a fortune teller. Whatever, I arrived at preview properties before he was able to be there, and was told to leave a check with one of his colleagues who would give me a receipt. The receipt was a photocopy of the check, and I was not happy with that. Initially, I might not have been able to meet him that day, but suddenly as I rather wait to get a proper receipt, he says "We really need to take care of this today. A check is like a receipt anyway since its from a bank and the bank can trace the check." I want proof that Preview Properties received the check and that it was paid for the correct reasons (which thanks to my mom, I knew to write the details in the check itself). The person who I asked to sign and date the check, as well as his colleagues, laughed and scoffed at me when I clearly was already unhappy. Next, came the meeting to sign the lease. My roommate and I had issued with certain things listed in the addendum. We also asked that we all signed every page of the contract as certain things in the contract itself were changed; and we wanted to make sure what was in the contract at that point was what we signed for. He called us complicated and "never experienced this before/wish you brought this up earlier". You can either tell us you're not going to do it, or do it and not complain. We don't need to hear why you think we are being too pre-cautious. There is so much more where this came from, but let me leave it at this. The whole company is full of immature people who don't know how to take customers seriously when needed. I'm not in high school nor is Ben my teacher (he's a teacher). I don't need to be lectured at or talked to in a demeaning way just because he knows we are new to this. We did NOT end up getting the apartment, because there were things not initially discussed (we were responsible for shoveling snow, no subletting was allowed, there is no fire escape--which is illegal btw) came up as we were reading the contract/addendum. Had we not taken precaution and got taken advantage of by someone who just wanted to get things over with, we would have signed the lease, paid thousands of dollars, and been stuck with a deal we were not happy with. read more

Danielle did a great job figuring out precisely what I was looking for in an apartment and was available on short notice as well as in the evenings and on weekends. There were a few hiccups (no access to keys for a couple places), but we all know that everything doesn't always go smoothly. She definitely pulled through while being personable and accessible. My experience with my real estate agent was fine, overall. But when I needed a copy of my lease signed by the landlord, who I had been given no contact information for, she avoided my emails and calls. I eventually called the company directly, and the manager was rude, sarcastic, and unhelpful. Once I told him I wanted my Realtor fee back unless he got me the lease that day, I magically received an email with it attached, but I was incredibly put off by the terrible customer service. I sent a letter of complaint to the owner as well, and his response was basically "I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it." It was an incredibly frustrating and almost degrading experience, and I will never be using this company again. read more

We were dealing with a really stressful situation that required us to move immediately and we had strict requirements on what we needed in an apartment. Matt immediately went above and beyond to show us as many apartments as he could as quickly as possible that fit our requirements, even calling apartments beforehand to make sure they did. He was also just an all around genuinely great guy that made us feel comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommend preview properties and specifically Matt Alfonso as the agent. In my 10 years in Boston I had never had a positive experience with a realty company... that is until I found Christian at Preview (via Craigslist). He showed me a model unit in a building and although there was no unit available, he kept in touch with me over the next few months regarding open units. After the scams and dishonesty I've seen in realty and property companies I was glad to find an honest realtor who listened to my requests and kept me informed... and didn't ask for for any deposits until I knew I had an apartment on lock. And of course the gift box of essentials was a nice gesture on top of an absolutely wonderful experience. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and will use them again in the future. read more

When my roommate and I initially moved into the Brighton area, we used Preview Properties to find our current apartment and had a great experience, despite landlords and property managers making the process difficult totally separate from Preview's efforts. However, now that we are on the other end of this experience with Preview Properties now showing our apartment because we are moving elsewhere, it has been anything but great. After showing the unit multiple times in a day, we came home to our back door being left wide open and unlocked, totally accessible to the outside and shared porch in the building. Anyone could have gotten in, either from within the building or from outside as we are on the first floor. Additionally, every one of our lights and our ceiling fans were left on from the showings. We are recent college graduates - our electricity bill, particularly in a heat wave, is not something that we take for granted. As a result, we contacted the office to let them know what happened and to request that they please be more courteous in the future of our space, and to let them know that they left our door unlocked and wide open. No one ever called us back to address our concerns. Today one of the brokers, contacted us to ask if he could show the apartment tomorrow afternoon. We said yes, but also requested that he please be considerate of the apartment and our back door, lights, etc. He never responded. Later, we contacted him again to ask if he was definitely coming as he never responded and one of us works from home on Fridays. Eventually, he texted back simply to say "will try for Monday instead." Once again, none of our concerns with their treatment were addressed. Would not recommend. read more

I worked with a realtor at Preview Properties to find an apartment. He showed me some awful apartments before showing me one that looked amazing. He assured me that all problems would be fixed prior to our arrival (i.e. the broken floor in the basement, the missing outlet covers, the disgusting state of the kitchen appliances, the broken tiles and windows etc.) Upon our arrival, the apartment was left in a state of disaster. Our landlord said he'd cleaned it, but the stove was completely black, and pans with burnt crust were in the oven, not to mention the dust everywhere. We asked if we could bring in a cleaning crew and have it taken off our rent which our landlord took offense to and deemed unacceptable. Our agent at Preview Properties was the opposite of helpful, and lied about having years of good experience with our landlord. We still do not have keys to the door to the apartment our to the back door because the landlord or the agent "lost them" (they go back and forth about who's fault it is). I am from this area and know what a slumlord is, and it was only after our landlord was served multiple times by Inspectional Services (Who P.S. told me that they had had nothing but complaints about our landlord) that anything got done. If I had known ahead of time what a colossal source of stress this apartment would be, I never would have signed the lease. EDIT: The owner just messaged me personally and assured me that this is not how they do business. I sincerely appreciate the quick and personal response. read more

It's just OK. Their office is at a convenient location. The realtor that I worked with was very nice and was available nights and weekends. They have a ton of listings and work hard to find the right place for you. For me it's only OK because the realtor was not as knowledgeable or prepared as they should have been. A few of the places I visited the realtor knew nothing about the property which led to viewing places not even close to what I was looking for. Sometimes they didn't even have the keys for the places so I couldn't even see them. read more

2 friends and I are looking to move into a place together for September, but due to schedule conflicts and travel plans, yesterday was the only good day for a while for us to look at places together. We combed craigslist the week prior, set up appointments, and made plans to meet up with a realtor friend to show us a few places. Well, our realtor friend couldn't make it. So, at around noon yesterday (a Saturday) we went back on craigslist and called about several more listings, making appointments to see places same day. We made an appointment with Rob Morgan at Preview to meet him at the realty office at 4:30 and see a few places. We told him what we were looking for, and hoped that he would be able to find a few places we could see that day. We saw 6 apartments before we met Rob, and found a few good candidates. On just a few hours notice, Rob met us with a list of well over a dozen units that met our specifications. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single one of them was better than any of the 6 apartments we had found on our own earlier that day. He was patient, understood what we were looking for, gave us advice, and at the end of the day, helped us find the perfect apartment for us. We filled out applications at the office, and were approved the same day. I've lived in Boston for 4 years now, moved twice, and have known many people who have moved and looked for apartments. I've never had or known anybody who had as great an experience with a realtor as we did with Rob. I will definitely be recommending Rob and Preview to anybody else I know who is looking for a place. read more

The first two apartments I saw just didn't do it for me, and Ross understood--there was no pressure to get me to take an apartment that I didn't really want. This place really is as good as it gets in terms of realty service. Tim Fitzpatrick helped me and my roommates find a place. He was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. These guys are straight shooters who don't pressure you into making any decisions and are focused on meeting your needs and helping you along the way. They also are quite helpful in negotiating with landlords. Everyone that I interacted with in the office seemed friendly and helpful. I recently graduated college and was looking for a 4 bedroom apartment in the Brighton/Alston area. Prior to meeting Tim, we told him what we wanted and what our limitations were. I would definitely recommend Preview Properties. I worked with GiGi Raines, who was great! She showed us a great place, and although there were 3 other applications in for the apartment, she fought for us to get it. She was also able to help negotiate the ability for us to get the keys on 8/31 rather than waiting until Sept 1st at noon as originally requested. I contacted Shant from Preview Properties while overseas in Ireland in a bit of a panic - I had about a week to find and move into a new apartment on somewhat of a budget. I had found an apartment online and asked him about its availability. Unfortunately, it had been rented out just before I contacted him. He recognized the urgency of the situation and without me even having to ask, he sent me an enormous list of properties that matched my criteria. Upon selecting one, Shant was ready and willing to cope with the time difference, staying at the office late to make sure paperwork was filed on time for me to move in. He was very clear in explaining the renting process, which as a first time renter was very appreciated. I was able to see the property the first day I got back to the states, and I was moved in within a few days. The apartment selection process is a frustrating one, especially when time is not in abundance. Preview Properties made sure to set me up with a living situation that fit my criteria. Having lived in cities where rentals were always found in landlord or no-fee listings I was really put off with the idea that I would have to pay a fee for the privlidge of renting an aparment (isn't that what rent is for?). I'm honestly still a bit frustrated with the broker-fee model that dominates the boston rental market, but I'll admit that Preview Properties earns their fees. We had fairly specific tastes and the agent we worked with, Jonny, was very patient as we looked at a number of places. Once he knew our tastes he forwared us new listings as soon as they came out. It was this initiative that let us jump on a great place that wouldn't have been available for long. The work didn't stop there. Jonny guided us through the lease process as we sought to clarify a few things with the landlord and determine what was negotiable. Even when our agent moved out of the area Preview didn't miss a beat as a new agent, Jordy, took over and made sure the move-in went smoothly. read more

My advice?! DO NOT USE PREVIEW PROPERTIES. The realtors are completely unprofessional and have no qualms making you homeless. My properties realtor Bob had no problem making me homeless..the reason? He wanted to collect the money from a broker fee. I already lived at the property and he wanted an additional $800 he would not have received from me, as I already lived in the apartment, so he gave my apartment away for the money. Makes you think what else these capitalist realtors would do just for some extra cash. No realtor from Preview Properties can be trusted. Additionally, when my apartment was showed to prospective renters, two different realtors walked in on me and my roommate naked two separate times. When the realtors did show up when we were home, most were extremely rude and didn't treat me like I was human. These realtors have no ethics or morals. These realtors were in and our of my house all the time and it was an entirely invasive experience, particularly because I was being forced out. Shant brought someone by once before I knew I was being kicked out and insinuated I owed him something for bringing me a prospective roommate, which as a young woman made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I hate to think how these people are trained if at all, because they have no morals. All they care about is money and not helping people. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am to have worked with Shant to the sale of my home. Shant was more driven, than I was, often, more driven than I wanted to be in preparing the house for sale. He made sure that I spent money wisely. Insured that I had the right help to do all repairs both essential and esthetic. The house sold better than I even dared to hope. Just walked into my apartment to find my front door wide open and one of their agents taking pictures in my bedroom. No one from the office contacted me or my roommate about coming, and they blamed it on my apartment's management company for giving the number of an old tenant. It is illegal to enter someone's apartment without getting permission from a tenant first. Help me make sure they don't enter other people's apartments illegally and take your business elsewhere!!!! read more

I had a very bad experience with one of the realtors at this company. I feel like my roommate and myself were taken advantage of because we are young females. My roommate is the one who hired Nathan to find and apartment. He only showed her three different places. She liked our current apartment and decided to rent it. I signed my lease without actually meeting the realtor. We had to pay a realtor fee equal to one month's rent (which is the normal rate) and I feel like I paid this realtor to do nothing. He did not respond to most of my e-mails and when he did they were unprofessional. He did not respond to my phone calls. He blew me off for a meeting for which I had to make a special trip to Boston. He never called me to apologize about that. He ended up having to send me my lease in the mail to sign it. When I called Preview Properties to get a copy of my lease, because I never got one after sending it back to him, they said they were no longer responsible. They would not listen to my complaints about their employee. I am never doing business, if you could call this business, with this company again. The only positive outcome of the experience is that I actually like my apartment. However, my apartment is nothing special. It's a typical apartment in Allston that could have been shown by any realtor in the city. I suggest using one of the many other agencies in the area and finding a realtor that will treat you with respect. read more
