Over the past year I have used Certified Indoor Air on multiple occasions to inspect for mold and…read morepull general air samples at facility where I work. After the sample results came back Bill Dolch did an good job of explaining how to read and interpret the chart data and graphs. In the areas where actions needed to be taken, he was able suggest some companies that may be help with resolving any issue. David and Bill were both professional in conducting business and quick to response our needs. Excellent value for the cost. Mike W.

William dolch was good to work with, but his son David was horrendous. Extremely rude and abrasive both in person and on the phone. They scheduled an appointment without confirming the date that I was unable to attend, I called 3 days in advance to reschedule. The lady who answered the phone confirmed that it was rescheduled. David still came out on the previous day when I was at work and when I answered the phone and told him I rescheduled the appointment he started yelling and being very unprofessional when clearly there was a lack of communication within the company. When he did eventually come back out, he didn't bring the proper supplies to patch the wall that had previously tested positive for black mold. We asked for him to come back when it could be properly patched up because we didn't want to risk being exposed to black mold if it was still there. He got an attitude about it and said we would have to pay an additional fee for him to return. It's not our fault he came out and didn't have the proper supplies when he knew in advance which areas we wanted retested! Then they never walked through the test results. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Agri-Waste Technology (AWT) originally did the inspection on our home prior to purchasing it. The…read moreinspection was very thorough and professional. I am so pleased that they were our inspectors, as late on a Friday afternoon we had an issue with our septic system backing up. Jeff moved one of his crews to our house that was ending their workday to help my family. The prior inspection pictures showed how thorough had been, and Jeff's team found the issue in no time...just a filter that had been clogged with hair from carpet cleaning prior to our arrival. I can't thank Jeff Vaughan and team enough for their help. We had my parents and in-laws visiting us (in their 80s and 90s) who really needed for everything to work properly. AWT was simply amazing, professional, and care about their customers. Without any reservation, I would recommend them highly.

I had the displeasure of working with AWT on a new properly I purchased. Their consultant (Jeff…read moreVaughan) indicated to me that they "knew my area" and that the soils in my area were likely unsuitable for anything but a very expensive/advanced septic system. Despite their discouragement, I hired him as a consultant to come out to my property and sample the soils for suitability. Their visit confirmed to me that the soils were in line with his preconceived notions that my property couldn't support an expansion of the current LPP system on my property. Shortly thereafter, during the permitting process, Wake county indicated soils suitable for a new repair area. I then hired another soil scientist who determined that my soils were suitable for an expanded LPP area, and were not too far from being acceptable for a conventional septic system. In short, the AWT engineer I hired (Jeff Vaughan) started out with the mindset that it couldn't be done, and ended up coming to the same conclusion. He was pretty adamant that a very expensive system would be required to achieve my end goals. In short, I wouldn't recommend this company - there are soil scientists in the area that will take the time to try and find a workable solution based on your soils - my impression with AWT is that they try to steer you to costly systems (both to install and maintain) that are perhaps better for their bottom line, but not necessarily for the customer.
