No problem - we happily finished our cocktails while we waited on a plan B. My boyfriend realized that we had some chicken in the fridge and that would be our dinner given that everywhere else on the island was closed due to the power problem. So he got the idea that we could at least get a container or two of sauce to dip our chicken in (since they boast of house-made sauces). We pulled a lady aside that said "I think I can make that happen!" My boyfriend said thank you, noting that he wouldn't want her to get in trouble. She said "me? In trouble? I'm one of the managers..." She then proceeded to have her sweet waitress bring over the sauces to our table while saying that we were going to be charged four dollars for the sauce. The high and mighty "manager" refused to give us a cup of sauce without putting a 400% markup on it. I would assume whoever reads these reviews and will respond with relatively fair reasoning regarding the homeade sauce, but the context of the situation and basic philosophy of customer seems to be lost on either the culture or this particular "manager" who knew that charging for a small 4oz cup of sauce was not the right thing to do. Heading to Rick's when the power is back. Wish the principal behind this is understood by Voodoo.

We both had their Calico Jack Sandwich: A delightful combination of Creamy Mac and Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork. The sandwich was a bit messy due to the Mac and Cheese, but the abundance of pulled pork made it delicious. It came with a choice of sides; my wife enjoyed the perfectly cooked French fries - crispy outside and soft inside. The portion size was generous. I had the coleslaw, which was tasty, although the portion size seemed a bit small for the price paid. I would have expected a larger serving. The toast on the bread was some of the best I have had. We will be happy to use them again if the opportunity arises again.
