I have zero artistic bones in my body, but I did have a vision for my wedding that I failed miserably at articulating to Lora. Even so- she met my hesitation, my countless questions and my anxiety with such class and the utmost professionalism while going out of her way to meet with me multiple times with visuals to show me until it was exactly what I envisioned. Lora is an expert in the area I lacked- I told her my vision and she made it come to fruition, even beyond what I had hoped for. A last minute change in the forecast which called for rain meant that our outdoor wedding would now be moved indoor. I guess that's the gamble you take with an October wedding :-/ Lora and her team came together and made the impossible, possible! Our wedding guests, including the other vendors were in awe of how beautiful, elegant and well thought out the floral creations were- and by far were the most complimented thing of the night! My bouquet was breathtakingly beautiful, I found myself constantly looking down at it captured in my photos. Lora is the ONLY florist I recommend based solely on personal experience. When we started planning music for our wedding, Eric sent us 30-pages of top hits from his inventory, categorized by genre and event (first dance, parent dances, garter and bouquet toss, etc.) My husband and I reviewed each page, checking "yes" or "no" to be played at our wedding, and highlighting our must played options. When we didn't see certain songs we wanted to be played, we asked if we could make requests and he was more than willing to work with us. We met with Eric a month prior to our wedding to review our day of timeline, music selections, and to give him our list of our song recommendations. Eric walked us through our entire day, what he would do, set up/tear down, etc. I left feeling confident and accomplished! About a week before the wedding, my husband found an AMAZING song that required cutting. Eric accepted my cut version and graciously used it for our grand entrance. During our wedding, my husband and I weren't feeling some music choices and we asked our day of coordinator to speak with him to make some changes. Eric was receptive and on top of it! She is super dialed into the wedding industry and was able to easily rattle off recommendations for vendors that matched our style, wants and needs. I also found her to be very thoughtful, strategic, smart, and extremely calm, not to mention super experienced. And the proof is in the pudding -- if you look at photos of her events, they are so incredibly beautiful, put-together and stylish. We were originally supposed to be married in May 2020, and having to put off our marriage several times due to the pandemic was a huge disappointment. But Katie stuck by us through two rounds of rescheduling and helped us through it ALL. She understands events and the industry so well that even though the pandemic was uncharted territory for all of us, her knowledge and gut instincts saved us many times. She was always quick to answer emails and phone calls, and there was never a loose end on her watch -- she is so organized and focused. And we could always count on her to be super honest and transparent with her advice; if spending money on something added a lot of value or made a lot of sense, she would tell us, but she would also let us know where we could easily save money. I was happy with every one of her recommendations -- vendors, decor, paper goods, everything! I will also never forget the many examples of kindness and empathy that Katie showed us, including literally HOLDING a plate of cheese and fruit for me to eat from between photos on my wedding day! Her compassion and positive energy are honestly humbling. When we were planning our event with all these masking and safety restrictions, I was worried that after all this work and all these postponements, the resulting event was going to feel like a compromise.
