The prices are the average of what one would pay anywhere for hair services...they definitely are not more expensive than other places. The only slightly negative thing is they do seem to recommend a lot of hair products...and at our last visit...they recommended $150 worth of products...and one product...a small bottle of some kind of styling gel was $53 by itself.
