I am so glad that I went to the class because it was individualized and styles were created based on the length and size of my locs, as well as my personal taste. Not only did I leave with new styles that I will be trying this week, but I also left with an unexpected goodie bag with hair pins, hair rubber bands, a head wrap, etc; basically everything used in the class and more! She's got my hair bleached blonde and still grows down my back. I adore her customer service and she gets me in and out. Most salons you have to spend the day there but not here. No complaints. The salon is very clean and in a great area. Plenty of parking and the shampoo's I get there are like Jesus himself is washing my hair. My hair is very very dense and VERY difficult for me to manage but she does it with ease. I love it there, I just wish it was closer to where I live.

After my last appointment, my hair was not done correctly. I tried calling and texting multiple times to have the issue addressed, but my calls and messages were ignored. Since I couldn't get a response, I had to go to the salon in person. When I spoke with them face-to-face, they acknowledged the situation and told me they would fix my hair free of charge the next time I came in. They also suggested that I wait because applying heat to my hair twice in the same week wouldn't be a good idea. When I later reached out to schedule that appointment, they completely changed their story and told me they would not be fixing my hair for free, despite what they had previously promised. This wasn't my only issue with this salon. On several occasions, I noticed I was being overcharged and had to bring it to their attention to have it corrected. That made me question their business practices. I initially chose this salon because I was new to the area and it was convenient, and I continued going because I wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, after being ignored, having promises broken, and dealing with repeated pricing issues, I've decided I won't be returning. I value honesty, consistency, and good customer service. Sadly, my experience here did not reflect those values. I've attached photos of the result, screenshots showing my attempts to contact the salon, and the message where they declined to honor the free correction they had previously promised in person when I showed up.
