I hired Jaymi because our house was getting really hot. We have a lot of glass windows in our home and we also live in Ramona so it gets quite warm up here. Great experience! Windows are perfect! We were suffering from UV / Sun damage to our kitchen cabinets. We were looking for the right film that would protect (our soon-to-be refinished) cabinets and cool the downstairs as well. I have found that consistent high reviews on Yelp are a really good indicator of how a business is doing. The occasional crank can usually be spotted by the nature of their complaint. Jaymi at Prestige lived up to the very high expectations that I had and even went above and beyond. Wow, this gal is organized. Responds in lightning speed. Calls, quotes, appointment times, job start and finish all right on the money. Pricing was good, service was exceptional and I expect the quality in the long run to be just fine. I had windows tinted with Solar Film that should greatly reduce energy consumption on South and West facing windows in my memory care setting. Jaymi arrived right when she said she would, made minimum mess as all materials were pre-cut from measurements she had made during the work up for the quote. She had estimated the job would take about seven hours and was out in about five and a half. She worked around my special needs seniors and left no mess anywhere. My staff and maintenance guys all commented on how nice everything looked and how they could feel the temperature difference in the rooms with the treated windows on the very first day. I've read on on-line Civic forums of people who had tint shops refuse to work on the Civic hatchback because of this, Despite the difficulty, Jaymi and her husband went the extra mile and removed and replaced the spoiler to ensure a perfect tint job, all while honoring her original price quote. We have some big windows in our second story entryway. It definitely makes the upstairs much hotter during the El Cajon summers. Upstairs is easily 10 degrees hotter even with running the AC. Wonderful experience! Professional, fast service, great selection, quality work, clean. My husband and I were going to attempt to window tint our home windows ourself when the woman at lowes told us that it can become quite a disaster and recommended we hire someone. I searched online and somehow didn't find prestige at first. The first company I scheduled an appointment with called and rescheduled, then never showed up for the new apointment, when i called the office I had to leave a message in order to get a call back which they never did and the cell phone of the technician was disconnected. I called another company in El cajon, but they couldn't send someone out until the following week. Then I somehow found prestige and Jaymi came out immediately to give a quote. I felt so comfortable letting her into my home, she was professional, knowledgeable, and had a great selection of window films. She picked out a great bronze film for privacy that sill allowed me to see warm light. She gave me a very professional folder with the quote, references, copy of liability insurance, copy of contractors license. Immediately after Jaymi left the other company's estimator/installer showed up. My experience with him was quite the opposite. He looked like he hadn't groomed himself in quite a while and was not very personable. I didn't feel comfortable with him. He offered only one dark grey option for privacy. I asked if he had any other colors such as a yellow tint and he said not for privacy. He gave me a quote for $20 more per window than Jaymi. When he left I had to ask for if he had a card.
