From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they packed/moved everything while still being careful with my furniture & boxes. What could have easily been a long, exhausting day turned into one of the smoothest moves I've ever had. They were respectful, friendly, hardworking, and worked incredibly well as a team. Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I agreed but 1)they were not put back in order 2) a handle is missing 3) our passports were in a draw and I found them later in an open moving boxed not sealed or labeled I have "tiffany" lamps one is missing the finials, one is missing a rod that joins shade to lamp body Scratch/scuff on refrigerator that can not be repaired A piece was broken from an antique dresser Guest bed feed were not added and leveled out We had tell the crew several times to do certain tasks on more than one occasion. The team did work extremely hard but we did hear that they had not worked together as a crew before and had not worked with the lead I called the move coordinator, Kipp on May 6 prior to my May 22 move date to tell him I thought the amount of boxes I had needed to be reevaluated for the movers. I was told that I had 81 boxes listed and that should be enough, but on the day of the move I was told that all my items would not fit in the trucks. So instead of taking the initiative of calling their office to see what could be done to provide another truck or follow up the next day, nothing was done and I had to scramble with the help of my family and neighbors to complete what they should have done. This was a stressful move for me and made even more so by the lack of initiative and listening to the client to provide additional help. The team Tony brought was inexperienced and careless, which resulted in the breakage and damage of belongings worth thousands of dollars. It was not just the monetary loss, but also the sentimental value of these items that added to the distress. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced. They got the truck loaded like a Tetris game in 5 hours. The guys are polite, introduce themselves, shake your hand, and give the kids high fives on they way out.
