I cannot believe I didn't know about this place as long as I've been coming to Atlantic City. If you're ever in town and craving Caribbean food, definitely stop here for an authentic Haitian lunch or dinner. Even though it's in the middle of sketcky neighborhood, it's a must go. There are also other authentic Caribbean restaurants near by. We ordered one plate of Tasso and one plate of Legumes and a side of Mac & Cheese. Everything was great!! At first I was nervous that we wouldn't have enough rice but the portion was actually perfect! We were stuffed. Our chef was Claudette and she came out to greet us and ask us if everything was good. The staff is extremely warm and hospitable. I can't wait to return here.

Good food, friendly people. Stopped by this place on our way to Atlantic City and the food did not disappoint. We ordered oxtail, black rice and fried plantain with spicy pickled veg on the side. The meat was tender and deeply flavorful-definitely had been marinated for a while. Served in a rich tomato based sauce that was complemented by onions and peppers. The riz djon djon (rice colored by black mushrooms and cooked here with Lima beans and green peas) was delicious and the fried plantain--can't go wrong with that, was yummy. We ate in as there at one of al the few tables, and the gentleman who also took our order brought our meal out with a smile. Forgot to take pics of the food before we dove in..... next time

That fried goat tho!!! Ufffff

This place is the absolute best my goodness I come as much as I can , no words. The fried goat is the best I've ever had, so perfect. Portions are huge to the point where I can have lunch and dinner out of one order...I just wish I would have discovered it sooner. Everything is seasoned and made to perfection, hats off to the chef. Staff extremely sweet and helpful too.

This is the "Medium-sized" Chicken with sauce and Black rice! Amazing flavor and huge portion.... I couldn't finish it all

My experience was much more than 5 stars!!! We were visiting Atlantic City and stumbled across across this amazing restaurant! It is only about 10 mins outside of Atlantic City (well worth the drive). The owner Marshall gave us 5 star service and genuinely ensured we had the best experience. His service went Above & Beyond. The food was made fresh, authentic, and had amazing flavor! You will not be disappointed. I wish we lived closer but now I know this will be my new South Jersey staple that I have to visit EVERYTIME!

Small place but big on flavor. Good quality products on their Caribbean flavor cuisine. You can…read morehave your food on their dinning area but have the feeling most of customers order to go. The portion is big and includes fried plantains. All dishes on the menu posted by me on Nov 15 are available every day. Their host is extremely friendly and eager to please your needs.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. I just so happened to search for Haitian black…read morerice and griot and this restaurant popped up. The griot pork is what I always get, most times along with another entree to try out. As an entree I usually get the rice and beans (delicious flavor rice that sells out quick), 2 fried green plantain, a small condiment of "picklie" pickled slaw to add a kick, a small condiment of gravy and a small portion of macaroni salad. I've also tried the whole snapper and Ox tail, white rice with black bean sauce, and the black rice. Honestly everything has great flavor. My faves are the pork griot and ox tail. My only reason for not giving 5 star is that for the price, the portion size has not always been consistent and if they run out of a side I have not gotten it equally replaced with another option. I hope they improve in that area. Other than that, I highly recommend the flavorful dishes.

I found this restaurant through a search for Haitian restaurants near me in the Western suburbs of…read morePhiladelphia. This was the closest restaurant with Haitian dishes. All the other restaurants were in Philadelphia. I ordered takeout since I was unfamiliar with the restaurant. When I arrived I saw that there were plenty of tables for dining. The restaurant is in a small shopping center with parking. Another benefit since many restaurants near downtown West Chester do not offer parking. The order consisted of Jamaican Beef Patty, Soup Joumou (Squash Soup), Griyot (Fried Pork), Diri Djon Djon (Mushroom Rice), Sweet Plantains, and Fried Red Snapper. Every dish tasted authentic and was delicious. How exciting to know that I no longer have to wait until I visit my parents or go to family events to get Haitian food.

Wonderful! Great to…read morefind Caribbean/Haitian food in the area. Heat is a little muted, probably best for most. Still spicy and flavorful. Rice and peas (technically they are beans) you get is plentiful. Many dishes also come with cabbage and black beans (almost soupy) on the side, if you like, at no extra charge. Beef patties are delish, or so I am told :( Before I could try them, fellow diner had already consumed both! Maybe next time. Unfortunately too, no coco bread :( For vegetarians, there are options. Their vegetable stew was quite good. Also got a free sample with order. I picked the brown stew chicken, another tasty. Service very friendly. And takeout nicely packaged.
