After doing my due diligence and receiving a few quotes for an interior basement drainage system,…read moreGroundworks Certified Field Inspector, Sunny Kauser, is who won me over with his knowledge, professionalism and competitive pricing. I was never rushed or meant to feel pressured to e-sign on the dotted line in any way. Everyone was great starting with Sunny to Linda & Katie in the home office who took care of all scheduling and notifications, Field Supervisor, Ray, who put my mind at ease when I had a million questions and finally Ramon, Aldrin & Joel who exceeded my expectations to insure the arduous back-breaking work over a 3 day period was perfect and on-point. Everyone treated my house and this project as their own so for that, I am forever grateful to this entire team. No detail was too small or problematic. I will definitely be recommending Groundworks and their phenomenal team to all my family, friends and neighbors. Thanks so much!

Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Disrespectful of Customers' Time…read more I scheduled an appointment with this company and took an entire day off from work specifically to accommodate their visit. On top of that, I spent an additional entire weekend preparing everything for their arrival so the work could be completed as scheduled. Day of work was confirmed. At 8:00 a.m. on the morning they were supposed to arrive, they canceled the appointment. Not days in advance. Not even the night before. They waited until the morning of the scheduled appointment to inform me they wouldn't be coming. They followed up with 3 variable stories from being overbooked to an ER visit for reasons why they cancelled. I lost day of work, an entire weekend of preparation wasted, and absolutely nothing accomplished. Canceling an appointment at 8:00 a.m. might be convenient for them, but it's incredibly disrespectful to customers who have rearranged their lives and invested considerable time preparing. It's a complete lack of professionalism and total waste of my time. Take your business elsewhere. Find a company that values your time, honors its commitments, and understands that professionalism means more than simply putting a date on a calendar.

Jerry and his team were prompt arriving on the target date and time. They've gone above and beyond ensuring timely completion of the project and diligent follow up to ensure quality work being delivered. I would recommend Jersey Dry Waterproofing for any of the waterproofing project, planned or unplanned.

Nick came out to look at our basement after several other contractors recommended re-doing the entire project. Nick from Alchemy noticed how our yard was and found that that was the problem. If you are looking to have a French drain or sump pump installed this is the company to call. This…read moreis the second time using them and both times they were phenomenal. 13 years ago after buying our new home we noticed water coming up from the floor in the basement, I searched for a company and landed on them. We had a French drain installed and never another issue with water. Now mom's house is getting ready to be sold but she's had years of water issues. We couldn't ignore it any longer so I called them again and in 2 days the main part of the job is done. They will be installing a sump pump for mom and again they hung plastic to keep the dust down they move items out of the way and day one the basement was trenched. Tomorrow the outside work begins and the drains will be laid out. After inspection they will be back to put the cement down clean up and done. I will always recommend Lou and American A1 Waterproofing. P.S. Lou's prices are still amazing after all these years between our job 13 years ago and today's.

It was a large project…read moreinvolving digging up the old floor, leveling it, adding in multiple pumps and French drains, and we ended up having to redo all of our underground pipes. They were meticulous and timely in their work. Recently we had an issue with our sump pump, we could smell sewer water and had a lot of drain flies coming. Lou, came right away, and helped us get to the cause. It was the main sewer line from the city had backed up to our house. A small part of our drain had to get fixed as a result and they did it right away. Outside of this one issue, which wasn't due to their work, our basement which would get flooded all the time has been completely dry. I recommend A-1 waterproofing all the time.

I recently had A1 Gutters and Roofing replace my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the results…read more I found them online and got quotes from six different contractors, but I didn't choose A1 because they were the cheapest -- I chose them because of their thoroughness and professionalism. Before starting the job, they conducted a detailed evaluation of the roof and did the same once the work was complete, to make sure everything was done right from start to finish. They also brought in a licensed electrician to properly disconnect and reinstall my solar panels, and thoroughly tested them afterward to confirm everything was working correctly. In addition to the roof, they rebuilt my chimney and installed beautiful new 6" gutters -- the whole property looks fantastic. What really stood out was how flexible and fair they were during negotiations. We worked together to agree on a contract that worked for both of us, including a 50-year extended material warranty and a 25-year workmanship warranty. On top of that, they went above and beyond and threw in an extra item as a gift, which I really wasn't expecting. A1 Gutters and Roofing is professional, skilled, and honest from start to finish. I highly recommend them -- give them a call; you won't be disappointed!

A1 Gutter and Roofing in Garfield, NJ is no exception. So too have we heard and, perhaps, experienced some dishonesty among this lot. So it is significant when one discovers a contractor who is legit, trustworthy, and highly professional. Having to replace an entire roof including structural repairs of its wooden beams, new insulation, and re-bricking of the upper portion of the chimney was a major undertaking. The entire project took two weeks. It's impossible to describe just how well this job was accomplished. Picture may do it some justice. Overall, this customer is pleased beyond measure. What a relief!
