Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.

After setting everything in place they used this special grouting material that hardened like concrete and almost matches the bluestone. The job came out so beautiful that we now have to do the other much larger entranceway by demand of the unit owners who are saying how it looks ugly compared to the newly restored area. They were meticulous and timely in their work. Recently we had an issue with our sump pump, we could smell sewer water and had a lot of drain flies coming. A small part of our drain had to get fixed as a result and they did it right away.
