They are extremely frustrating to deal with. Interestingly, if you call in the evening when the local office is closed, Groundworks Canada answers the call, and actually does their best to help. Can I be a waterproof specialist? I doubt it but I am much more educated on the matter. Prices are very good and transparent at all levels. Proposals are easy to understand and no reading small print, because there are none. The owner Steve will match competitor pricing if lower than what Blue Umbrella offers. A crew of four came. Jose, foreman, did a great job! He was responsible and the crew were timely. Jose even helped me reinstall the dehumidifier to the new sump pump area. They took away all the garbage too! The crew had two large trucks and seemed to have everything down to a science. One truck replaces the other once all the dirt from the basement gets loaded. My job was finished in two days because I needed additional work but this was explained to me and I had agreed to the extra service and charge. Knowing in advance is a good thing! We had water coming through the side of one of our basement walls. For first-time home owners, this…read morecertainly gave us a scare. We immediately sought advice and names of companies that could help us. A common name that kept popping up was Robert with All County Waterproofing. Robert came to our home the following day. He inspected the basement, explained what was going on, what could be done to fix the issue, and put us at ease. Robert is not a salesman and is not about ripping off families who are in unfamiliar territory. Instead, Robert is the owner of a relatively small company that takes pride in its work, and makes sure that the root of your water issues are addressed in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. I similarly cannot say enough nice things about Robert's team, including Wilson who was the project manager on the job at our home. All County removed the prior French drain system, fixed a serious problem caused by the company that did the prior French drain install, and installed All County's waterproofing system, which is working incredibly well so far. Robert and his team kept me informed thought the entire process, took videos and pictures of the water escaping from the cement blocks, and left the basement in a much cleaner state than it was when they got there. In short, if you have water in your basement you need to call Robert with All County Waterproofing. He will fix your water problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks.
