This place, quite unfortunately, is NOT closed. By the looks of it, the business might have recognized that this page was their business (since that "Work Here? Unlock this business page" doesn't show). These people occasionally handle my Amazon.com orders. This business is the sole thing that is killing Amazon for me right now. People want their packages on time. Most people these days don't care when you leave a package at the front door, especially when the value of the package really is no more than a few bucks. I first dealt with Prestige back in August 2010 when ordering something from Amazon. Using Amazon.com's tracking system, I got more updates on the status of my package than Prestige's own website did. But even those updates were not accurate. Like the many other complaints listed prominently on Amazon.com's forums (http://www.amazon.com/gp/forum/cd/discussion.html?ie=UTF8&cdForum=Fx20DX5GEB7TUX8&cdThread=Tx3GI4CTRZEIPUN), Prestige does NOT know how to deliver things, especially to apartments. My august 2010 order took over a week after their scheduled delivery date to arrive. once again, i'm cursed with their horrid delivery service now. I called prestige this morning, one day after my package was supposed to arrive, to ask them whether the package is out for delivery. they said yes. i asked whether it would be ok for me to leave a note for them to leave the package outside, and they said yes. (i had known to do this after my august incident, which unfortunately, didn't change anything as i still had to be in person, and run after the man while he headed to the car no more than 15 seconds after ringing the doorbell). i came back from school tonight around 830PM (30 minutes after their latest delivery time), and with no surprise, my note was still there, damp now from the rain/snow, and no package. what are you guys doing there? anyone? i called CS and they close at 7PM. it's great how they clear everyone out of the office 1 hour before all the complaint calls come flooding in. coincidence, i think not. i called amazon, who told me that they have it on their system that the package was supposed to arrive today, but it hadn't. they told me to call back after 4PM PST in order to file a lost package claim. amazon, please stop using prestige. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Companies NEED to STOP USING THIS COURIER! Staples and Office Depot have started using this courier service. On their website they say that your package will be delivered "next day" and it is NOT. Clearly, this company is lying to these corporations and making deals they are not following up on. The first time we used them for an office chair that we ordered from Staples. The chair was on route to be delivered and then on the tracking it says "ORDER WAS REFUSED BY CUSTOMER DUE TO DAMAGE". We never received the package!! No one refused it!! Clearly, the driver either was too lazy to deliver or he straight up stole the package and marked it as damaged. We finally called Staples who had them instead deliver to the store and NOT our property and we received the package that way. Next time, ordered ink from Office Depot. Was supposed to be next day. Look at the tracking and "oh great, it's Prestige." Says it is on route to be delivered. Day goes by....nothing. Doesn't get delivered. Next day goes by....still says on truck to be delivered...nothing. So now it is has been FOUR DAYS and it is STILL NOT HERE!!! I've told BOTH of these companies HOW F***** AWFUL THIS S*** COMPANY IS and that they need to STOP USING THEM IMMEDIATELY! I selected '2-day shipping' on my order. It turned out to be 4 days actually. They lied to Amazon that they did deliver it on 2nd day. Srsly? The worst part was they dropped it at wrong address. It happened to my friend's apt. So I got it luckily. Screw this company, never again. read more

They've misdelivered 2/2 packages from Amazon for me. From what I can gather, the company contracts work out to various local branches and thus the drivers are not trained and often fail to find the correct address and leave the package in random locations. This is especially true of office addresses. This is the one thing that is spoiling Amazon for me. read more

So I don't know why Amazon, who actually has a pretty class act in terms of customer service (from my experience the past several year) would use Prestige is beyond me. I have a package that we were expecting today 7/6. Prestige does the last leg of delivery, so they are local. They received it at 1:35am on 7/5. Amazon had 7/6 as the expected delivery date. And typically when shipped via UPS direct, items arrive on time if not earlier. Getting back to Prestige, as of 12:00am 7/6 it shows the exact same status of received from carrier... so you received it twice or you just are that bad at moving things through your warehouses?? Amazon received an email suggesting what many have and that is to drop Prestige or at least allow customers to opt out... they are truly horrible. And to boot when you call Prestige customer service, I got a recording that said; "If you receive this recorded message during normal business hours, call back in a few minutes"... WHAT????? what a hack operation. Really, it's 2012, ever hear of call queues? IVR's? Hey how about a "new fangled telephone recording device"??? I hope I've made a few people laugh, because that's all I can do at this point... As for the 1 star, just picture it as a negative 1.... could be worse, they haven't yet lost my package... read more

I have to write my review here, because the local branch isn't listed on yelp. These guys handled one of my latest orders from Amazon, in fact, the latest. Had everything gone alright -- it would've been delivered here today. Instead? Instead the driver, shipping to a two apartment building (the recipients address said "apt. 2" to reflect this) left their package in the first open door of this building. The door is nearly always open -- it's not ours. Well, because of this, I don't have my package. If the people that door belongs to, got the package. They aren't returning it. Could've been anyone, really, since it's viewable from the street (making the drop off point that much more brilliant since there's a second door in back... Which USPS, UPS and Fedex always seem to find relatively easily) Contacting them was worthless, it was Amazon's fault for not requiring a signature. Apparently, now, when a signature isn't required. They can -- and will, leave packages in every open door they come across. That is, if they leave the package at all. But hey, at least according to them it was on time! read more

Bad service. This went through Amazon and apparently carrier noted they attempted delivery but said was not there on Friday night. Monday they attempted again and just left on my door step without ringing the bell. read more

Amazon used Prestige to "deliver" an order worth $250. The tracking said delivered, but it never was. Amazon promptly credited me for the items, but, they were things I really needed. Another part of the same order was shipped UPS and arrived as scheduled. I just cancelled my "Prime" membership with Amazon since they insist on using a carrier that says it's delivered in 2 days, but isn't. read more

Totally useless! After reading these reviews I am honestly shocked that Amazon is still using this company. Unfortunately it's pretty obvious that writing this review will have no impact at all on Amazon's choice of carrier - but I am so fed up I had to do something!! My package from Amazon was originally supposed to have been delivered yesterday, Monday. So, imagine my delight when I get a text from Amazon saying it was out with the carrier for delivery the previous Friday. Yippee!! When I got home however there was a voicemail saying the delivery guy could not find us on GPS. OK, fine, I thought, since this sometimes happens. At least the driver had the sense to call and ask. I called back and left a message with detailed delivery instructions with the address of a house just along the street which can be found on GPS. This always works for anybody else having difficulties finding us. I also asked to get a call back. Nothing. I left another message the same afternoon. Nothing. Monday came around I get another text from Amazon that it was out for delivery. OK, I thought, - back to the original day it was supposed to be delivered - no big deal. Later on Monday another text saying delivery had been attempted but failed and it was being held by the carrier. I was very surprised considering I had left the directions etc in my message the previous Friday. So I called them to ask what the heck is going on?? Had to leave a message. No call back. Tuesday (today) afternoon comes around with two text messages received almost simultaneously advising 1) that the package was being held by the carrier (again!) and 2) that it was out for delivery!! WHAT?? So I called the only number I had twice more and asked if somebody could tell me what was going on. Finally I called Amazon customer service and whilst starting to explain the situation - guess who should call on the other line??. Yep - Prestige! I asked Amazon to hold whilst I tried to find out direct from Prestige what was going on. This is unbelievable - the driver who I had given the directions to on Friday had then gone on vacation and did not pass on the information. Idiot number one. The second driver who tried to deliver yesterday obviously did not have that information so returned the package as a failed attempt. Did he bother to call me and ask for more info? No - Idiot number two. Then unbelievably the same thing happened today- another failed attempt because they could not locate the address. Did this driver call to ask for more info? No - Idiot number three. Of course it's now too late to get it out to me today so I'm told it will be tomorrow. That all remains to be seen. I made it very clear to Amazon that they should SERIOUSLY reconsider using this company since it is ultimately impacting their reputation. NEVER have I experienced such a comedy of errors as this. If there was a no star or even negative rating that's what I would choose - the one star gives them way too much credit. Come on Amazon - step up and get rid of these guys! read more

If I could give Prestige a zero in a rating, I absolutely would. This company received my order and sent it for delivery (not my choice - the vendor chose them; I would not have chosen such an unreliable company). Partway through the day, I tracked the package and saw it was being returned to sender due to "no such address." My address was listed correctly. When I called Prestige, they contacted the driver - still out on the road, no less - and he got confused at his GPS and turned around, marking the package with no such address. No call, no information, no notification - I just don't exist. And now the company "can't do anything" until Monday. The driver actually has the package AT HIS HOUSE for the weekend now, because this company refuses to come out and deliver the package today after they simply decided not to earlier. Despicable, outrageous, and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not use them. read more
