BLUF: Favorite prestige car wash site I've visited, usually not very busy with lots of vacuums open. For context, I've had prestige monthly membership for over 3 years now since this site opened up. While this prestige is actually smaller and shorter than other ones (doesn't have as many brushes) they actually added in a high power spray in the middle that works extremely well. Also this location is usually not very busy meaning no wait and lots of open vacuums. They also offer free air for tires. When I used to work nearby, I would come anywhere from 2 to 10 times a month since I only have outdoor parking. Definitely worth the monthly membership fee I pay. As for all the negative reviews for modifying the memberships, yes their system is a little clunky. Changing membership tiers and payment methods isn't the easiest but it really is not that hard. Also would not include that for this specific site's review as it's more of a corporate prestige issue. read more

I was not informed at the time I signed up for the unlimited month of car washes back in April that it was a membership that was going to charge me $34.99 monthly for this service. I have been charged a total of $144.96. I want my membership cancelled immediately and money refunded! This is a rip off! read more

Deceptive business practices. Increased monthly price without notice or permission. Nothing in their terms state price could increase whenever without notice. Consumers beware, and please complain to attorney generals office as this is illegal. Ripping off thousands of customers! read more

lol at the reviews acting like they got scammed because YOU signed up for a subscription service and forgot to cancel. That's not on the company for your complacency. This location is far superior to Medford. Car wash doesn't smell like dirty laundry, lot less busy most of the time. Little pricey but worth it if you get the subscription, not worth $12-20 a wash though. Also not exactly sure how the "subscription" works; especially where is someone drives through the line then pulls off to the side to do something before entering. Watched that happen today and realized I got someone else's Diamond wash. Obviously I'm not complaining, but I definitely would be were I the one who got skimped out my extra $$. read more

Difficult to stop membership/subscription. I had emailed to cancel last month. It didn't happen. How do I end this?? read more

ALL of you who are saying they are charging you etc are all idiots! When you sign up for the .1 cent sale yes it's that price for 1 or 2 months and then what ever price of the package YOU chose. if you don't cancel it will still charge just like all companies do when you sign up for something. I signed up on a special and pay 20 a month for unlimited car washes. I love it and always go to multiple locations. read more

Like others have said in their reviews, do NOT pay with a credit card. Found out they have been charging my card $20 for months after I got a car wash once without ever authorizing them to do so. read more

Every time I go there the gate won't open and today they said that my membership has expired. Well they billed my credit card in May for the amount so what is the problem. I know it's not their fault, but give me a break read more

My preference is almost always a self-serve option, but I guess what you get for what you pay here for the touchless drive-through is worth it, especially since you can be in and out in about 5 minutes, most of that being to actually wait in line. I was a little unnerved when, shortly after getting onto the belt, it stopped abruptly because the car in front of us came off the drive, and they had to re-align it. I kept wondering whether the same thing would happen to this car or whether that car simply never drove in properly. No matter, no subsequent problems. read more

Went to the prestige self serve car wash in north reading yesterday. It is six dollars for the base wash. I did not have a five on me so I used my debit card and did my wash. Everything went fine and the counter clicked down from six minutes and shut off the service when time ran out. I left and had zero issues until today when I happened to check my bank account only to find out they charged my $25.00. I drove up there and talked to the manager and he just laughed and said it happens all the time and I did not read the small sign. If after you are finished and the time had run out you need to push the stop button or you get charged some kind of penalty I guess. I got burned and he would not return the overcharge. I never saw this bs sign and where do they get off doing something like this. If they did it to me they are doing it to a lot of people. This deceptive signing is just wrong and I don't like to be scammed. They lost a customer forever over this. Mark read more

Prestige Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - North Reading, Massachusetts

Paid for the top car wash, the $30.00 car wash. My car was left dirty in multiple areas, not clean at all. Especially the rear of the car that did not even look like it was washed at all. I will not be back. Go elsewhere if you want a car wash to actually clean your car and not leave it covered in road grime and dirt. Very disappointed as this was the worst car wash I have ever had and there are much better car washes close by. Honestly they should be ashamed of themselves and refund my money. Again, do not go here. read more

do not let them use your credit card - they have been charging me 34.99 for months. they said they were having that 1 cent sale and i paid $20.00 plus one cent and they have been charging me for 9 months. you can call anywhere because they don't take calls. i am going to do a social media blast to all realtors in the state warning them do not go here. awful - they should be fined for fraud. read more

I was told 1 cent special to drive thru car wash, and I had to pay with a credit card( big red flag) So the wash wasn't great , but it was only a penny. However, March 1, I see $19.99 Prestige charge on my credit card. I didn't sign up for anything and haven't used the car wash again. Fraud....... pure and simple. I have disputed the charge and would say 'buyer be ware' , never give your credit card at a car wash without full disclosure. Bait and switch...... read more

Stay away from this car wash! They have the worst customer service. Once you start the monthly service for a very hefty fifty bucks it is impossible to stop the charges. They have no customer service phone. This place is deceitful, dishonest and a downright dirty business. Don't get duped! read more

I got my car washed at Prestige in N Reading. I used my Bank card to pay. I noticed they started deducting $20 a month out of my account for a membership. I never signed up for this. I don't even live close to this place. This is STEALING!! I called the headquarters and they no longer have anyone answering the phone. read more

I use this car wash regularly because its close to home and convenient. I have never had a problem with the service. The place is well maintained and the employees are pleasant. I like the free vacuums and everything just works. I honestly can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here unless they had an issue with their credit card which I have not had. I use it all the time, and will continue to do so. read more

Excelente atendimento e rapidez na hora de lavar seu carro muito bom esse lugar o pessoal de lá e muito gente boa

Absolute scumbags work here.My dad got a carwash with a 50$ Visa gift card that I gifted to him and the attendant took the card inside for a considerable amount of time. He thought nothing of it. later that day he tried to pay for some groceries with what he had left on the card. presumably 30$ , but the card had been maxed out with a bunch of online paypal charges. my dads retired and on a fixed income. I hope whichever one of you did this are happy . Don't trust anyone here. As I can see from the reviews this place has a history. Expect to hear from the AG for fraud. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Spent $30 on the diamond car wash... well the photos speak for themselves (although it's even worse looking in real life). The back is filthy, still bird poop on the hood, windows streaky. An absolute waste of money. Emailed for a refund and never heard back. Don't waste your money here. read more

WOMEN DO NOT GO HERE! @ the Burlington location... First of all, to get a "free" car wash, you must give the attendant your personal information. There is nothing that states how they will use your personal information so... I didn't do that. I proceeded to order my car wash and insert my credit card. The same attendant took my credit card OUT of the machine without my permission. Then he looked at it while he flipped it around in his hand 3x. Then he put my credit card in the machine incorrectly. Then he STARED AT MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER while he flipped it around in his hand 3x. Then he put my credit card in the machine incorrectly. Then he took it out again, looked at it, and put it in the same way I had it. I proceeded to pay and pull up to the machine. I had my car aligned and another individual kept telling me to turn my wheels so they were not in alignment. I pulled forward and obviously my wheels weren't aligned. The individual motioned to me to put my window down. He GRABBED MY STEERING WHEEL while he mumbled something. I may be white but I know several languages and mumbling is not a language. I told him to get his hand out of my car immediately. He clearly understood that in English. I told him to KEEP HIS HANDS OUT OF MY CAR. Another man showed up (so 3 men to operate 1 self-operating car wash?!). Then I proceeded to ignore them and realign my car with the tracks correctly (the way they were originally). The 2 men motioned me to roll down my window again. I only cracked my window bc I didn't want anyone reaching and grabbing my steering wheel again (something they wouldn't dare do to a man!). The third man asked me if my breaks were on. I said no. He asked me 3 more times. I kept telling him "No, my car is in neutral." He kept asking me if my foot was on the pedal (no), the brakes were on (no), and finally, was the car in neutral (yes). The man finally walked away. My teenage son who was in the car was horrified and asked me if they had Yelp. I told him I didn't know but that was a good idea. DO NOT EVER GRAB SOMEONE'S STEERING WHEEL or put your hands in our cars. Your employees were the ones that screwed up and tried to pretend it was me, a very masochistic technique in an attempt to make a woman doubt herself. Women, do NOT go there! read more

When I bring my car in to be washed and I need to go through twice yet the car still remains dirty its a problem!. Your employee responded by stating "You only paid for the basic wash" ..... Huh??? that doesn't mean the car should NOT be clean. A basic wash always includes: the rinse, soap, scrub, rinse, and dry. Gimmicky-sounding add-ons need not apply for driving away with a clean car, the basic wash alone in a reputable car wash will remove visible dirt. read more

I asked to buy one wash and the guy would not let me. He made it seem like the only option was to get the free wash 30 day membership that he ensured I could cancel easily by phone or online. Once I got home and realized the carwash DAMAGED my car I immediately went to cancel it and tried calling the number only to find out you actually can't cancel on the phone despite the fact that it advertises that you can! I also found the website to be annoying to navigate as it is not allowing me to cancel my membership. Highly dissatisfied with this place and do not recommend it to anyone. Seek out a touch less car wash instead. Very scummy business model forcing me to get this unnecessary membership. read more

car wash is such a rip off. Beware the system will keep on charging you if you don't hit the stop button up to $25 and it cost me seven dollars more than if I went to King Triton and Wilmington for the same thing to do it by yourself void at all cost read more

The car wash tunnel itself is OK, but they don't pre-spray the back of your car, which is where car washes don't clean well. Place is horribly understaffed. The big issue is their monthly subscription service. First time I went the guy pressured me into signing up, so I figured I try it. But then I went to their car wash in Medford, and they told me my subscription was for N. Reading only. This is not what their advertising says. Then I cancelled the subscription, and they didn't even let me finish out the month, which I paid had for. If they want to succeed, they need to lower their prices and up their service. read more

I have a spare tire on the back and they said it can't go through the wash. I've never had this problem at any other car wash. #lame

I drive by this car wash every day on the way home from work.
