The website and registration wasn't very clear so I sent them an email after paying for our ticket and they responded very quickly and assured our spot was reserved properly but it was very easy all you have to do is pick the event and then pay for your ticket I'm not a huge dancer so I was very nervous but we were greeted by the team very warmly as soon as we arrived. They had light refreshments and beverages for their guests which I thought was nice for them to have! The instructor of the class did a great a job teaching us the steps and made everything easy to learn. The team was so encouraging and it was overall a great time for my partner and I. And we are getting so much more out of the time spent there every Wednesday night than the triple swing and single swing skills. What we love: Our instructor: Jane The price: $10 per person per one-hour group lesson. Very reasonable. The flexibility: No contract. The other place we called to inquire about lessons suggested that we would need to spend a minimum of $500 to $1,000 per couple to get some customized, choreographed dance for the wedding. But in the long run, what would that do for any of us? We wouldn't have any new skills that we could use for the long term? We would just have one memorized dance to "perform" at a single event. None of us were really looking for that. The Fun: My daughter and her fiancé want to be able to dance together at their reception and they may practice some specific steps or choreography so they are comfortable, and the same goes for my daughter and her father, but really, we want to be able to dance together for years to come. Just Dance gets that. And they make it fun. We wanted help in preparing a father/daughter dance, a newlywed couple's dance and some brush-up couple's dancing for my husband and I, and we wanted to enjoy the process of learning those skills. Each week we show up and they practice what you've learned before, and maybe add a few new things. You can jump in any time, too. So on any given week in the beginners class (7 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Wednesdays) there are folks who have never been to class and folks who come every week). Friendly staff/classmates: Everyone is friendly, non-judgmental and eager to help. We are making friends and anxious to try out our new skills at some of the local swing dance events. Next up? We may try ballroom or salsa! But look out -- we might have some viral videos of us tearing up the dance floor coming to you from a wedding reception in October 2019.

Many of the favorite dancers are teen competitive ones & those dancers are highlighted by this studio repeatedly on social media & in photos, for example. Also, the number of students of color are minimal. However, we gave this studio 4 stars as a result of customer service, dance skills, numerous types of dance lessons & organization.

I don't go to a chiropractor regularly, but I have been to another one years ago when I had some…read moredisc problems. Fast forward to a few months ago and I ended up with some pain that just wasn't going away on it's own. I called Dr. Carter Maier and he got me in the same day. He thought I might need to come back a few times, but whatever he did was so good that it fixed it in one session...even without me doing all of the exercises he suggested I do. And he even gave me a first time patient discount. The bill was very affordable! Then last month a totally unrelated problem came up, I didn't suffer through pain this time. I called right away and, again, Dr. Carter got me in right away. He did his magic and again I didn't even need a second visit. I love that he isn't one of those chiropractors that automatically puts everyone on a schedule of 2-3 times a week for X weeks. Some people he sees once and it does the trick. Other times you need a few visits, or even ongoing visits. It all depends on how you respond to the treatment and what is wrong. And as someone who hates getting that cracking thing where they jerk you quickly to get your bones into the right place, I LOVE that he has this handy thing called an activator (I think that's what it's called) that can do the same thing without that jerking motion. Next time I have a problem, you can bet I'll be calling Dr. Carter.

We've done both the parent/child class and the independent classes, where the children are broken up into groups of 4-5 and rotate between stations. Open gym is also amazing. There are typically two open gyms per week with differing hours. Free for children who are currently attending class, otherwise a nominal fee. Each open house is 1 hour long. The gym is easy to contact between email, Facebook messenger, and phone calls. I have had nothing but great interactions with Miss Kelly and all her staff - especially Jen! Make sure to bring socks if you're going to a parent/child class or open house! Free WiFi if you're a parent watching a child in class.
