DO NOT be mistaken as this is a wholesaler. Deceitful business. Drove over 3 hours for a "$27,000" car, ended up being +$36,000 after $2,000 down. Called several times asking for itemized details, which they refused to disclose. Told us that "this is how they do it in New Jersey". Car had bald tires and originally offered to discount the car, but ended up with a comically large bottom line number. We worked with Dom who assured us that he was "not in the business of saying no, only yes"; however he then would increase the price from $27,000 to $33,000 BEFORE dealer fees and taxes. Not only did he refuted any clarification regarding the numbers presented to us, he would beat around the bush and never give us a straight answer. When asked for any paper work regarding the numbers or names of the staff, they refused to disclose. A total waste of a hard inquiry and an entire day. Completely shady. Would recommend you do anything in your power to NOT shop used here. read more

On 2/11 I purchased a 2019 Audi A3 from Prestige. Marcus, my salesman, was great in making sure we had a quick and easy transaction with my down payment and financing. Less than an hour. Although, the team in general seemed to push the entire process rather too quickly and I'm frustrated with where we have ended up. My husband and I drove out from Long Island NY to come see the Audi. When we wanted to test drive it, we were informed that I could, but we had less than 10 miles worth of gas in the tank, which is essentially nothing even though there is a gas station directly across the street. Another associate informed us that they do not have the gas card to put gas in the tank for us, so we only drove the car around the block once out of fear of driving too far and running out. This seemed odd to me, that I had made an appointment to come see the car in advance and it was not ready to be driven. The car was also noticeably needing an exterior wash, the wheels dirty and brake dust on the rims but I did not say anything at the time about that. To be honest, I assumed at the time that they would offer to get the car clean that day before we drove it off the lot, but they told us that would not happen. I ended up filling the tank myself upon leaving as I had no other choice. I offered to leave the car that day and come back later to pick it up, they told me it wasn't necessary and I can just take it once the sale is complete. During my test drive around the block, the change oil notification came on the digital screen. I was assured the oil was changed already and that the notification would go away after we drove it, but it did not. Again, I let it go, thinking they might clean it up before we left, but they didn't. Because I know some about the Audi MMI system, I cleared the notification myself when we got home. Once we had crossed over the bridge and passed the tolls, another two lights came on the dash. First being the tire pressure sensors. The tires were low and again, frustratingly, something that should have been handled at the lot. I filled the tires and again, reset them in the MMI system. The second sensor light that came on is the Audi presence sensor. The alert says, "currently limited: see owner's manual." I messaged Marcus right away, who very graciously responded and tried to get me help with this issue. He sent me the request they made with the shop they use and told me that I would have to come back to get it fixed. This is something I was reluctant to agree to, since it is a 3 hour drive for me, but having the pre sense feature is something that makes this car luxury so I figured it would be worth the fix. I was told to follow up with the auto shop, who I called every day for two weeks, and I NEVER heard a response from. Marcus apologized numerous times and tried to help me contact them. The shop never responded to me. I called Prestige several times, and a nice female answered mostly, took my number and told me someone would call me back. No one ever got back to me aside from Marcus regarding the pre sense issue. I called the office at Unique, who patched me through to someone at prestige named Brian. He didn't answer but I left a message on his machine. He never responded to my call. I find this entire situation disheartening, as it has now been over 30 days and I am out of options when it comes to getting this sensor addressed. Had I known at the time of sale that I would have to get this fixed myself, I would have asked for the price to be reduced. Getting this sensor fixed can run $2,000 if it has to be replaced. It is not something I can clear myself in the MMI. There is no option in getting this fixed that is not going to cost a significant amount of money. Returning to New Jersey to get this fixed is no longer an appropriate course of action. I should be compensated for this feature that was sold to me unusable. The final issue and nail in the coffin for me with Prestige was the license plate and registration with New York. They did not process my dmv information in the adequate amount of time. My plates expired on 3/12 and by 3/11 I had not received them. My husband had to make ANOTHER trip back to unique to pick the plates up. Had he not taken his time and paid MORE tolls, I would have had expired tags. Again, unacceptable to me, when I was told the day of sale that it would not be an issue at all to have them mailed to me, and that it would only be a couple weeks. Again, I called multiple times and was given no other information other than I would have to wait and there's nothing they can do about extending the temp plates so that I can legally drive until the plates came in. read more

This is the worse car dealership I have ever been to. The sale of the car was easy as I already knew what I wanted. I didn't negotiate the price and moved through the sale. The very first day of driving the vehicle on the road I notice there was an issue with the transmission. I notified the dealership and they had me bring the car to their "Service Department" which is actually just a repair shop that is not associated with the dealership. My car ends up sitting at the car repair shop for about an entire month due to the fact the sales manager was either giving me the run around about the owners being on vacation and he could not authorize a repair on the vehicle but could offer to sell me an extended warranty or put me in another car. As I'm not understanding why I would need to get an extended warranty on the car for an issue that was there prior to and they did not identify the issue. Long story short. It was the owner from the Repair Shop that got my issue resolved within minutes and obtained the go ahead to repair the car. Not once did I receive a call from the dealership or anything. This place is clearly out to rip people off and give you the run around. They charge these dealer prep fees for things not being done to the cars prior to selling. read more

They said yes the car was there and I even did a pre approval for credit because I figured I'd buy the car as long as it was as advertised. I got there (Auto Hub / Dunhill Auto Group) in North Brunswick and there is no customer parking so it is a nightmare just getting in there. Then when I got in there, the guy I was supposed to see (Aaron I think) was rude to the receptionist and said he had 2 other customers and I should come back. I decided to wait 10 minutes to see if anyone could help me and someone comes to tell me the car I was there for was not on the lot but he had 2 other options for me. We bought a 2011 Mustang from these guy and had it shipped to us in VT after seeing their car advertised on cars.com. What we couldn't see in the pics: 1) All four tires were worn down to their core. 2) Drivers side seat valance was broken. 3) Rust on the rear trunk lid. 4) They only gave us one aftermarket key with NO FOB. 5) Oil needed to be changed badly 6) Lower rear control arms were failed and needed replacing 7) The car smells like an old ash tray even from the outside 8) Shift nob was loose to the point it was ready to fall off 9) Air filter was completely black 10) The car was badly out of alignment 11) No spare tire or jack 12) AC actuators are broken and need replacing 13) From chin spoiler is missing. This car was likely in an unreported accident which is evident from ther way the front bumper cover was hastily put together (which I also had to fix correctly). We paid full asking price and this is how we were treated because were were out of state. This car is one they took in trade and did absolutely nothing to before unloading it on some "out of staters". For a company named Prestige Auto these people have absolutely no integrity at all! I would put zero stars if they let me. bought an older car. with an oil leak and exhaust problems from the get go. They said they would repair all problems. After getting the run around from Alex the service manager, they had if for 3 weeks and said they fixed the problem. Hasnt been running great. no power. transmission slipping. so I brought it to be serviced under my extended warranty that I bought myself and low and behold. they cancelled my policy because it had a bonded title due to odometer discrepancy. No, I didn't look at the title. I thought like the 10 other cars that I have purchased that it would be correct and believed they were a reputable dealer. now I know why the service manger laughed. and said read the car fax the day I picked it up. my car has $4500 in repairs and that doesn't include any transmission issues. They even said it was missing bolts. no wonder the engine was rattling. and the catalytic converter is almost clogged. so much for fixing the emission problems. Do not shop here. I had what was a great experience on the lot; saw pics online, traveled in from Queens to see it, was able to negotiate the thousands in fees off the price and get the car for a number I was satisfied with. HOWEVER, now it has been over 2 months, and no one can seem to find the title to the vehicle. I call Prestige of Avenel, they direct me to their parent company Unique Auto Mall/Dunhill Auto Group, who directs me to another person, and another person until someone says they can't find the title and the person who knows where it would be will back on X date and call me back. I have now called 6 times over 2 months each time being told I will be contacted, have not been contacted, and repeated the process over again. This major failing on their part has made it so I cannot register the vehicle and has caused headache after headache. Things may be slow with COVID, but there is still no excuse to not even know who has the title, where it is, have a possible timeline for resolution or ever have someone onsite that can properly answer questions. I am in the market for a truck, and WILL buy within the next two weeks. I called there about a used RAM truck. Naturally, I asked about a better price. The Internet Sales Manager asked me to come in, and he would make a good deal with me. I told the gentleman that I live in Pennsylvania over 1.5 hours away, plus tolls and gas. He said come in.... I'll make you a good deal. I made the appointment and drove the 1.5 hours. Upon my arrival, the salesman spoke to the manager and they said that they wlould save me $100. REALLY?? $100? Surely you jest. It cost me more than $100 to get there between tolls and gas, plus I am a business owner and my time is certainly worth something. When you think of the stereotypical slimy car lot nonsense.... this place summed it up. If they were willing to waste my time like this, how could I trust them and buy a $35,000 truck from them? Not too mention that a 2017 truck with 8,000 miles didn't have any form of factory warranty. Seems a bit fishy. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time! Find a dealer that you can trust. NOT HONEST AT ALL!! We got the test drive done on a BMW 430i, talked price, agreed on price, fees and taxes. Got credit approved, then sales guy added gap insurance and car warranty, about $4,000. I said no thank you, don't need that. The bank and government don't require them, he spoke to manager that came over and told me if don't take gap insurance and car warranty he would not honor price and fees and everything will be a higher price. I asked him twice to confirm that he was changing his price offer if I didn't accept the insurance and warranty, he said he would not sell me the car unless I also got the insurance and warranty. And then he doubled down by lying and telling me that the bank would not finance me if I didn't get the insurance and the warranty, although the bank had already approved me. I bought a car at a different dealer and wasn't required to get gap insurance or a car warranty, surprise, surprise. I've already filed a complaint with the NJ State Division of Consumer Affairs and NJMVC. DO NOT GO HERE, WASTE OF TIME. read more
