Ok, we got a problem. I went outside and noticed that the fan was running but did not hear the compressor. I turned everything off, gave it a few minutes and tried again, nothing. So I came into the garage and called the number of the company that installed the unit 5 years ago. After 20 minutes on hold she took down some info, pushed a $30 a month maintenance plan on me and when I asked when they would be out she said tomorrow between 3-10PM. WHAT? I called for 24 hour service, no thanks. I then checked my neighborhood Facebook page and C&M Repairs kept coming up. I called and spoke with Cory. I told him my AC was down and he said he would be over within an hour, he was at another job. One hour later he shows up and begins diagnosing the issue. Within 5 minutes he finds a burnt capacitor, replaces it and I have air conditioning again. The whole time I was outside with him and he was chatting me up, friendly as can be. I told him I will be calling tomorrow to schedule a cleaning and regular maintenance. Companies like this are one in a million these days. I cannot recommend him enough.

5 Stars - Highly Recommend Tejas Air Solutions!…read more Late one night around 9:30 PM, my AC unit suddenly stopped working. With the Texas heat, that's the last thing you want to deal with. I searched for a company that could actually respond that late and found Tejas Air Solutions. From the moment I called, their customer service was excellent. Without hesitation, they dispatched a technician right away. The technician arrived quickly, was extremely professional and polite, and immediately began diagnosing the problem. Within about an hour he found the issue -- a blown capacitor. He replaced it with a more efficient one and had my AC running perfectly again in no time. I was seriously impressed with the speed, professionalism, and quality of service. It's rare to find a company that responds late at night, fixes the issue quickly, and still keeps their prices affordable. If you need AC repair, maintenance, or even a full system replacement, do yourself a favor and call Tejas Air Solutions. Their service, response time, and pricing are hard to beat!

I just now realized that I did not finish the review and all I did was leave five stars this visit was for the carpenter to take down all the wooden blinds from every one of my windows, and remove them from my home. The carpenter was efficient, prompt, and very pleasant. Two days ago, I filled out a online request of tasks that I needed to be completed. I immediately received a response from Fix it Freddy and an appointment for today. The carpenter David completed the tasks that I had listed on the online request and was very open with completing other tasks that I kept adding while he was in my home. All in all, from hanging a curtain rod, adjusting two doors, replacing a door lock set, and then painting the doors which was an afterthought of mine. I highly recommend Fix it Freddy and I will continue to benefit from their fine craftsmanship.

He called in a second-tier technician, Daron, who was also very polite. However, after the visit, I was hit with an unexpected $75.00 fee. On top of that, they quoted $8,800 to replace the unit in my tiny 622-square-foot condo. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch strategy, so I declined all services. The technicians themselves were great, but management's dishonest pricing feels like a scam.
