In their pictures, their freeze looks so creamy like ice cream but in reality it just feels like mush (can't even see a peak in the picture I took and that was right after I took the picture) The flavor is bland and it does feel like a healthier alternative to ice cream, but it doesn't quite hit the spot if you're actually craving a dessert. The texture can be a little icy, and the taste is good but not amazing--more "functional" than indulgent. It's a decent option if you want something light and guilt-free, but for the price of around $9, I expected a bit more flavor and creaminess. Not sure of all the one star reviews here, but we came here from the farmers market adjacent to this and were craving some açaí bowls. It's a large chain, not sure if people expect 5/5 bowls from here but the bowls were good just not fantastic. Overall the plaza in which Pressed is situated in is quite nice, but seating inside is limited and cramped to 3 bar stools facing a wall. I'd imagine you'd take things to go normally, which would in turn cause your açaí to melt into a slush. Oh well. It could be better but service was prompt and friendly. read more

So I originally went to Pressed to try their "Simple Cleanse". I had gone visit my Mom in Louisiana and who goes to La to eat healthy? So after boudain, cracklings, sweet potato pie, and all the other yummies. I needed to reset! So, I tried the Simple cleanse and let me tell you...It's not hard on your body but you need to make sure you have a two hour time gap between whatever you may need to do. Once the cleanse takes effect, it does what it needs to do and you feel so much better & move on with your day! Another item I tried that works amazingly is their "Energy" shot. It's really hard on the tastebuds but WORKS! UPDATE: It appears there was a miscommunication and one of the staff did not reach out to me to let me know they were out of 6 of the drinks. They did, however, miss putting 3 of the drinks they charged me for in my bags. Although it was not a perfect solution, I was allowed to drive to the Rice location were they fulfilled the rest of the order. Additionally, I was refunded for some of the drinks and offered a free açaí bowl for my troubles. I declined because I actually started my cleanse that morning. A company that works hard to fix mistakes is good by me. Mistakes happen; we cannot avoid them, but we can correct them if possible. So far, I notice that the drinks are less sweet and more veggies heavy than some competitors. I like that. Good product. Redemption. Original Post: You all may have lost a customer right after you gained one. I was really looking forward to having a company to use for my quarterly cleanses, but service was horrid. First, I had to drive to pick up my drinks because you state that you won't deliver to my house in Houston (77095) and were trying to charge me for nationwide delivery. Then when I get home and unpackage my drinks you had all wrapped and tapped up I see that I am missing 9 of the 40 drinks I paid for! Also, don't like that you just packaged my drinks in these cheap white paper bags with the handles broken. Clear difference between you all and a competitor of yours I have used in the past.
