You charge me $8 a shirt with bill totalling to $75.72 for home delivery. Don't hear from you guys for days after delivery date and then we have to come to pick up ourselves and wait while you fold and pack. What kind of a business do you run. Not coming here again. read more

I've been going here for years but once the son took over it's gone down hill! They ruined my husband's sheep skin jacket by completely changing the color from light brown to dark brown without explanation or apology nor refund!!! Recently we took in a beautiful pricey sweater and when we went to pick it up it was lost!!!!! What??? Stolen?? Again no explanation and was treated rudely!!! I used this Dry Cleaner for 20 years. While the Father worked there, it was an outstanding retail shop. The son took over two years ago and it's become a shambles since. They often open their doors an hour late, counter help is arrogant and obnoxious, clothing went missing only to "turn up" months later. When I asked to speak to the son, I was informed in a snarly tone that I should go elsewhere with my business. A customer for 20 years, at $50/week. So I have gone elsewhere. Way overpriced. I used them many years ago and had some token cards to use up. Even with the discount it was expensive.($8 bucks per shirt without discount). I had been using another dry cleaner in Santa Clara @$2.75 a shirt,but didn't feel like driving that day. No more laundry here. Same laundry there would have been $20 bucks vs $32 bucks. read more

I've been using Press-Rite Cleaners on Woodside Rd. in Redwood City since I moved here over 25 years ago and they have provided excellent service! The owner and his son are professional and personable. I'm in pharmaceutical sales and take my suits there. I recently dropped off a white blazer that hung in my 2nd closet too long and had some spots of mold and it didnt quite all come out and I realized there was no guarantee that it would (my fault). But the son really impressed me by offering to work on my blazer and give it special treatment. I came back a few days later and it was like new! I was so happy and it's heartwarming to observe a dry cleaning business like Press-Rite in Redwood City that truly goes over and beyond and cares for customers' satisfaction. Thank you! If I could give ZERO stars I would! We just moved to Redwood City area from San Mateo. Used this company ONE time and they ruined a shirt that was worn 2 times! When I brought it to the owners attention, he argued with me that he KNOWS it was not his fault and that it was caused by deodorant. The strange thing is this is the same deodorant my husband has used for many many years and we always have his business shirts laundered professionally. In San Mateo we used Town & Country Cleaners at 1234 W Hillsdale Blvd, San Mateo, CA for over 20 years and never had a problem! Oh, by the way, they, Press-Rite, laundered 9 other shirts and they didn't suffer this damage and he uses the same deodorant with all his shirts. Bad customer service! I have brought my work shirts to this place for a while, but in the last few months I had noticed that my shirts were not ironed/starched properly anymore and were wrinkled, sometimes I had to iron a bit myself at home. The prices steadily increased and unfortunately customer service went down in the same time. After picking up my latest shirts, they all of sudden charged for mens cotton dress shirts $7.49 and told me they can't do anything and that their boss might call me later to correct the mistake. We dropped some cleaning off earlier this week and paid cash in advance for the work, over $20. I've never been scammed before up until today. Upon paying in advance, I was given 5 ten point tickets for future work. When trying to pick them up today I was told there was a balance due (the entire job) and they would not release my clothes until I paid all over again for the same job. I didn't look at the receipt when I dropped them off and paid, my fault, but assumed all would be ok. I resent my clothing being held for ransom and having to pay twice for the same work. Where the money went I don't know. Possibly a mistake was made but not by us. I'll never return and will tell all my friends about this incident. read more

I would strongly advise anyone who picks up their clothing/garments and dry cleaning to inspect all of their items before leaving the premises! I took in numerous items to this Price Rite Cleaners in January of this year (2020) after having been on vacation for 3 weeks in southeast Asia over Christmas and New Years. I have had no reason to wear any of these shirts and pants since then. When I finally unwrapped my expensive shirts from the plastic this past week of November 9th 2020, there was black paint on the coller of on shirt and white paint smeared all over the coller and sleeve of another. These shirts were completely destroyed. I have used Price Rite Cleaners since 1995 back when...and have never seen anything like this occur! Something has changed and I am glad that I am aware of it--such that I can warn other potential customers going forward. Their very defensive in making claims such as, well why didn't you say anything at the time that you picked up your purchase? The reason is because I trusted the business. Well after loosing my expensive shirts, I no longer do and neither should you. read more

By awe, excellence and surprise! Six months ago, a favorite pair of pants were cleaned. Today I pulled them out only to discover that Press-Rite Cleaners had taken the time to do that which I had not: they neatly, yet firmly, sewed in the hook fasteners of the pants. They made no big deal of it, had a small tag that indicated "repaired" and, because the receipt was still on the outside of the bag, they hadn't charged a penny for the repair. Press-Rite cleaners is our go-to spot for removing spots. read more

We've had hundreds, if not thousands, of garments cleaned here over the 21+ years that we'ved lived in RWC without a single complaint. We've never had a lost or damaged item or late order; they've frequently repaired items without being asked (or even charging for it). The staff is pleasant and efficient, the price is right, and the location convenient - you can get in and out in just a few minutes. Though we're taking fewer things to the dry cleaners now (my husband is retired and I wear more wash-n-wear stuff), they will continue to be our neighborhood service provider as long as we're here. read more

We have been using Press-Rite for about 3 years. They pick up and deliver FREE to our neighborhood twice a week, so it is extremely convenient - no phone call needed, they just drive past to see if the bag is waiting for them. Prices are very competitive with other cleaners. My husband sends 3 to 5 shirts every week to launder and they come back in beautiful shape every time. I've sent everything from tablecloths to wool jackets and have had great results from them. Service and attention is terrific. Once my husband left (get this) his passport in a shirt pocket. PressRite called to say they had it and would return it when the clothing was ready - and they did. This is exemplary service. read more

We take the husbands slacks, dress shirts, and my dress clothes to get cleaned here. Only go every couple of months, but have had no issues. We absolutely love the fact they when they are checking the garments, they notice a tear or button or seam needing fixing and take care of it. Have always had our clothes ready on the day promised. We will continue to use them, as they do a good job, are reasonable, and it is easy access in and out. read more
