I love this place. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a huge selection of cards and supplies. I'll definitely be returning!

The moment I walked in I was greeted by one of the staff, (tall guy maybe in his 20's, unfortunately didn't catch his name) who was friendly and immediately helped me find what I was looking for. He pitched me some new releases and what was in stock, which I don't mind cause I know it's part of his job and plus he was polite and was not pushy. He did take notice of which comics I was buying at checkout and suggested issues based off specific comic characters which I did really like since I'm new to comics and I appreciate the help. Unfortunately they don't give out receipts for cash transactions. I like receipts so I can keep track of how much I'm spending on comics. It's not a problem, I'll make sure to use credit next time. Overall, I had a really great experience here for my first time. Great service, clean shop, lots of great wall displays and organization, friendly environment. 5 stars, no complaints.

Hostile Environment: The atmosphere is dismissive at best. More concerningly, an older staff member was openly using profanity toward my husband who had our child with him. It is clearly not a space that values a respectful or inclusive environment for the next generation of readers. The "Buying" Run-Around: Don't be fooled by their claims that they buy collections. I was given a constant run-around regarding whether the "boss" was in or not. If a shop isn't interested in buying, they should just say so rather than wasting customers' time with vague excuses and poor communication. Bottom Line: There are plenty of great comic shops that actually value their customers and maintain a professional standard. This isn't one of them. Save your time and your money. If I could give negative stats I would.

I happened to pick up my online pick up order and decide to check out the fabric section. I wanted to see if there has been any updates since taking over Joan's. I needed my fabric cut and I flagged down an employee. She appeared annoyed that I flagged her down to cut fabric. I went to the framing area since that's where I went last time. She directed me to the "cutting bar" which was a janky looking random white table in the middle of the aisle blocked by tons of boxes. I then made a comment "oh. Sorry. I came to framing last time". With a nasty attitude, She then talked to me like I'm stupid and pointed at the sign at the top "it says cutting table". I wanted to buy 20 yards of fabric and I asked her to double check how much for each yard. We all know things get misplaced on the wrong area. Before committing to buying all that fabric, I wanted to check the price. She then say that she could not check the price. She said she did not have a price scanner because there's too many employees working. She then walked away without saying anything. I'm standing there confused because I did not know if she was planning to go get a scanner or just left me. She came back with a scanner, told me the price and started cutting the fabric. She has no customer service skills and kept making smart remarks when I asked her a question. I ended up changing my mind about how much fabric to buy. Instead of 20 yards, I got 5 yards. I agree with everyone's experience about the lack of customer service, lazy employees standing around and their poor attitudes. Just to mention, there were no other customers in the store. I was the only one there on a Saturday afternoon which was very sad. All those remarks were unnecessary. I've been a long time customer there and will be taking my business elsewhere. Everything i usually get could be purchase at hobby lobby. I miss the nice ladies at Joan's that actually know how to cut fabric and interact with customers. I shouldn't have purchased any fabric that day and regret wasting my time there. The employee was a young Hispanic lady, light skin, long dark hair tied in a low pony tail with large glasses. She did not have a name tag.
