We usually have to be pried out of bookstores after hours perusing, but here: we were in and out in less than 10 minutes, because there was such a small selection for adults. It seemed the bulk of the store was devoted to kids--I hope the kids of Visalia are keeping this place going, because dang. It wasn't the day of, but their staff were happy to point me towards their available pokemon TCG offerings, and I picked up a couple singles and some penny sleeves. The staff have always been super helpful and friendly, and didn't make me feel unwelcome at all. I loved seeing the other gaming supplies they have, especially the retro consoles and games. It's very small (about 500 sqft, 2 rooms of books) with a jazzercise studio in the back. They have nice antique settees in both rooms. $2 for paperback and $4 for hardcover. The guy in the front was very kind. Since they have a jazzercise studio in the back, I think they should do speakeasy events there for book lovers since they have a nice enclosed parking- Bridgeton High Tea..., twilight dinners...A You marathon... Hunger Games costume party.... crafting with books.. I've never read Twilight, but since I was just in Oregon, I have to read or watch the twilight series now, but they did not have the book. They take donations so if anyone wants to donate twilight, lemme know! I had exactly $6 cash so I got myself a C.I.A. cookbook (Culinary Institute of America) because I collect cookbooks. Anthony Bourdain, Roy Choi (I ate at his restaurant, Best Friend in Las Vegas) & Grant Achatz (I dream of one day eating at his Michelin Starred restaurant, Alinea in Chicago) graduated from C.I.A. I also got a brand new paperback from Target- Love, Naturally. I am a little behind on my reading because life has taken me on a hell of a ride this year.

There are constantly sales that rotate color tags and they also have additional sales too. The staff is always very friendly! The organization of the store is always on point and whoever does the displays needs a raise! They also have a large variety of dresses on the top floor. Bonus; they give a military discount of 20%!
