I was referred to Dr. Reynolds' prestigious practice for a problematic tooth which needed a skilled specialist. If it weren't for Dr. Reynolds' root canal, i would've had to extract the tooth to relieve the severe pain it was causing.. So i'm really beyond grateful to Dr. Reynolds for relieving my pain & ultimately saving my tooth! The front desk supervisor, Cindy, was really courteous over the phone & very patient in answering my questions, despite a busy phone line with so many incoming calls. Her professional & friendly manner are a wonderful representation of the clinic & is consistent with the kind of care & treatment received at Dr. Reynolds' dental practice. Walking into the clinic, i could immediately sense how welcomed & valued Dr. Reynolds & his staff make their patients feel. Cindy, the front desk supervisor, was kind in accommodating my requests & Melinda, the lead dental assistant, was very considerate to my comfort & has a naturally warm personality that immediately puts you at ease once you're in the dental chair. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed & cared for & was very professional & so efficient all through the dental procedure. I was also grateful for her friendly smiles & reassuring attitude. Growing up i needed alot of dental care & was treated by many dentists. I can confidently say Dr. Reynolds' surgical skills was superior to them all & his procedure was the most pain-free & his equipment the most advanced & his practice the most prestigious! Not only that, but his patient rapport & communication skills were of such a high level of excellence that speaks volumes to his character & is hard to come across among health care professionals these days. I recently had the misfortune of needing two root canals, and Dr. Reynolds came HIGHLY recommended by my general dentist. Having a root canal done is never fun, so finding a caring and gentle endodontist and staff is pretty important. That and so much more was exactly what I found with Dr. Reynolds and Wake Forest Endodotics! Scheduling my first appointment was very easy, and the lady who I talked to was extremely kind and accommodating. I was able to get an appointment quickly, too, which is ideal when you're dealing with toothaches. When I arrived for my appointment, I was immediately pleased with how nice their office is. The waiting area is very comfortable with a small refrigerator with bottled water available, and they have a laptop for you to fill out your new patient paperwork. Their operatories are equally as comfortable with top of the line equipment and technology. His assistants are absolutely wonderful and seem to genuinely care about you and your comfort level. Dr. Reynolds himself is also incredibly kind and extremely gentle! I even fell asleep during my second root canal (which is pretty amazing considering what I was having done!). I was referred to the Wake Forest Endodontics by my Dentist. I needed to have a root canal. I finished the paper work ahead of time and arrived 30 minutes early. They took me in early. I am not easy to numb or keep numb and I let the Dr. know that. His assistant was very helpful, front desk friendly and I almost fell asleep during the procedure. When he said that they were sitting me back up and we were done I was surprised. I verified that, "We're done?" Sure enough we were. I let the Doctor and his Assistant know before I left that I would refer any of my friends to him who needed a root canal or similar work. My hats off to the Doctor and his office. It doesn't get much worse then a root canal, but I was never in pain. If ever, God forbid, I need another root canal I will go here with a lot less trepidation then I originally had. The obvious statement: no one wants to get a root canal. I had already had the misfortune of having 3 root canals in my lifetime. This was to be my 4th. The unexpected statement: that was the best root canal ever! As Dr. Reynolds was treating my tooth, I was trying to think of the words to describe the work I could feel being done: words like thorough, deliberate, and meticulous. Leaving the office that day, I felt more than confident in the work of Dr. Reynolds. Also, and I can't stress this strongly enough, at no time did Dr. Reynolds or his team even remotely make me feel that I, as the patient, was just next on the assembly line. Everyone in the office was genuinely helpful, kind, and empathetic. This was hugely important to me. This was the best dental experience of my life - I am a very nervous patient suffering with anxiety. I filled out my paperwork in advance and was given a script for something to calm me, which it did the day of the procedure. Their professional and patient treatment got me through the root canal without a single moment of anxiety or nervousness. I will tell all of my friends and family about this wonderful practice. I was seen in the Cary office today after making an appointment over the phone. I was never told that my insurance wouldn't be accepted, I was never told that there was a $140 charge for the 15 minute consultation. I found all the out AFTER seeing the Dr and they demanded payment for the consultation. I left in tears I've never felt so bullied in my life. I understand we need to pay for services but I have insurance and I've NEVER been charged a fee to discuss my treatment plan. I was also going to be on a pill sedation and they were trying to charge me $460 to "monitor" me after I take the pill (halcyon) before coming in. Terrible business practice I'm so disappointed. read more

I had gum surgery done today for an infected root canal. I'm a very sensitive and anxious person--Dr.Reynolds and his staff were extremely kind, patient and caring towards my needs. I brought noise cancelling headphones and listened to music throughout the procedure which really helped to close my eyes and not worry about what was going on. Dr. Reynolds and his staff are fabulous. They've done 2 root canals for me (so far), they've done work for my mother, and will be doing work for my husband soon. I am seen almost as soon as I walk in, wait times are almost non-existent. Everyone is super friendly and professional.
