It is very clean and well-managed and has lots of yard room for dogs to run and play outside. The owner, Kelly is very strict about ensuring all pets have their vaccines, so I have every confidence my pup will not contract anything bad from another pet. I highly recommend this business as it gives me peace of mind when I have to leave my sweet dog for the day, and would feel just as comfortable if I ever had to be gone overnight.

I was a veterinarian assistant in the military so I'm a little privy to the proper medications needed for specific ailments. This clinic LOVES trying to sell me $$$ of medications that are just not necessary. For example I have a dog who HD an ear infection. A simple syringe of Mometamax was all that was necessary. Clean out the ear with a Q-Tip and give him a squirt of the medication every day was all he needed. About $30. Instead they wanted to clean his ears with Q-Tips also and charge me for saline solution used to wet his ears. They also wanted to charge me for over the counter ear wash. Total $350. Unless your in a dire situation, I can no longer recommend this clinic.

I was sent here from CAP for my new kitten. We made an appointment for our first exam and while…read morewaiting for that appointment we noticed URI symptoms over the weekend with our kitty. When we mentioned these concerns and showed videos of the episodes he was having multiple times it was brushed off with no concern even after telling the doctor it has gotten worse. We trusted them and tried to let it go, but I felt like something was wrong. I called, texted, and emailed multiple times with concerns and was told I would get a vet to call me back each time with no call for three days straight. I finally got fed up today and decided to go back to CAP and have him evaluated where they immediately diagnosed a URI and provided the proper medications. I am VERY disappointed with the lack of communication, understanding, and professionalism here. I have worked with animals, shelter and vet settings, so I understand how common URI's are, but if someone else just let it go thinking it were normal not knowing better who knows if their pet should be okay. I am writing this in hopes that the doctors will strive to listen to their patients better without dismissing their concerns. The front desk and vet techs were amazing. Super kind and very communicative. I'm not super happy with the $70 fee for a fecal, but with a free first exam I can't complain too much about that. Please do yourself a favor and be mindful of where you bring your new or sick pet. I'm incredibly disappointed.

We told her she felt horrible apologized profusely and said if she knew we were gonna get racked through the coals and lied to like that she would have never referred us. Our normal vet was not happy, gave us some extra meds to have on hand if they are closed and said a bottle of Pepto Bismol is a lot cheaper. He even apologized to us and it totally wasn't his fault. He said he loves our baby and knows we take good care of him. You have been warned.

The care and expertise that they have shown our Buddy has been transformative... for all of us! This is a long-established care and training facility... and the dog's care, training, family integration, and safety are their hallmarks. After having our active vizsla spend 3 successful overnight stays at the farm, we opted for an intensive month-long, board-and-train stay. Buddy was kept in a very comfortable "suite" with his own indoor/outdoor access (during supervised hours), comfortable amenities, and even a lttle television for "white-noise" and company. Martine is nationally renowned and respected-- and for good reason. She is first and foremost an expert in understanding and training these precious creatures, and she is secondly SERIOUS about the training for our pup and our family. She has been open, respectful, and communicative about our exact needs, as well as Buddy's. After the very hard month (for this doting mom and dad) away from our Buddy, we returned to a pet who had tools and strategies for living politely, attentively, calmly and engaged. Martine and the J-Canine staff were patient with our frequent check-ins and always honest and clear in answering our questions and concerns. Buddy received consistent and loving-care and training -- all from a dedicated POSITIVE approach. Buddy is 18 months old, and we are realistic about the training and commitment that lies ahead. As Martine explained, he is just in "kindegarten"... but ready to move ahead... AS ARE WE! NB: If you want access to your own video cameras, frills that mean nothing to our pets (and are merely in place for our comfort), or only glowing reports about your animal, then this may not be the place for you... BUT if you want real care and serious training, then look no further! But after being attacked by much larger dog, he was suffering from PTSD. We chose j-canine as we liked the look of the facility. We were so lucky to get Martine as our personal trainer. Our boy has made significant progress in just 3 visits we have had with Martine. She teaches him what he needs to know and provides videos for me to watch and detailed instructions, and off we go. Between the lessons she gives us and our boy, the instructions, and the videos she recommends and my work with him, I am so much more confident in my interactions with him and so much more capable of helping him. My husband and I are thrilled and amazed with the progress he has made in such a short time. We feel we are very close to having our precious, loving little guy back. It was extremely disappointing to hear that even with a scheduled appointment (which I made a week in advance) that she would be locked up for over a couple minutes. My dog does not like being locked up, something that is painfully obvious if you even lock her up for a couple minutes. It feels like she was neglected the entire time she was there. Honestly if I had not called it I'm pretty sure she would have been locked up for longer. It was pretty disappointing to say the least.

This was not an accusation, simply a concerned pet owner trying to understand what may have caused the issue. I was not given any clear explanation or details, and instead the owner Henry became immediately defensive, repeatedly insisting he "doesn't keep secrets" and that nothing happened. I was interrupted multiple times while trying to explain my concern, and the conversation felt tense and dismissive. After the call ended, I heard him yell "god damn" in the background. When I called back to ensure everything was okay, he stated he was "hangry" and again insisted nothing happened. He later left a voicemail that felt erratic, repeatedly mentioning he was hungry and stressed, referencing having "a lot of pots on fires," and stating he would make a note on my account. While I understand that business ownership can be stressful and that issues can occasionally occur, the lack of transparency, combined with the emotional volatility and erratic nature of the voicemail, was concerning. It raised questions about professionalism, emotional regulation, and overall safety in how customer concerns especially regarding animal wellbeing, are handled. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning or recommending this business.
