We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated right away for a family of 8. It was not too busy. The outside and inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated. The outside lights definitely reminded me of a Bangladesh wedding. The sweets' display catches your eye. There are so many to choose from and we were able to see some laddoos being rolled in real time. I think it is great that they allow you to taste the sweet before purchasing. That is something that is not offered at any of the other places I know. We ordered pakoras and doi fuchka for appetizers. Both were great. The pakoras were big and came with a nice cilantro sauce. The doi fuchka was yummy and reminded me of Bangladesh. For drinks, we ordered the mango lassi, chocolate volcano, and a tetul fool. We all enjoyed our drinks, the tetul fool was the sweet and tangy taste of tamarind. For dinner, we got the morogh pulao (chicken with rice), walima roast with pulao, and butter chicken side with garlic naan. The morogh pulao has a spicy kick to it. The butter chicken can satisfy less wondering mouths. My favorite was the walima roast. I thought the rice was very fluffy and the chicken itself was extremely tender. However, I feel it could have used a bit more flavor. Overall, the food and service was good. We took some sweets to go. I appreciate that we were able to try before buying, because some were too sweet for my taste. I loved the laddoos and the roll sandesh. I do think that some items on the menu are way overpriced. For example, most of the drinks are $6.99+. Most sweets are $17.99+ per pound. I recommend going to this location due to the service and larger variety of sweets/food served.

Hopped in for some take out. Ordered butter chicken and biryani in store. We got the "not spicy" biryani, which was good but I think we should of ordered the spicy. I like my biryani infused with spices. Butter chicken was tasty. 2 rice options so we went for the small grains instead of basmati. But i think people come for the desserts. We just wanted to try one each while we waited for the food but it is full service and staff recommended that we get a half pound, which was about twice the value. She also gave us samples which helped speed up all of our humming and gaga-ing over the selection. Everything was delicious: milky nutty smooth-beany sweet-cheesy. I don't know what we were eating but it was really fresh and tasty. Our fave was the oval shaped one that had like a squishy milky juicy bite to it. I think its called longcha? Check their website for an overview of ingredients but the staff are very knowledgeable too. Your selection is packed in a gift box so this make a wonderful treat to present to and share with anyone.

Amazing food, ambience and service. I felt like I was in Bangladesh. The place is very clean and has ample parking. They have frozen entrees to go also. I didn't have a cooler with me but was very tempted to buy a few items as their cooking was good.

Premium quality come at a premium price for just about everything at the store. Unfortunately for me just everything is not vegan friendly at this store. The Bengali sweets are made with freshest ingredients and delicately sweetened (unlike other Indian sweets available elsewhere). Have not tasted food here. But have had the sweets when this place had just opened and I was still consuming dairy. The pure ghee sold again at a premium price is unlike any other you have had. Comes extremely close to home made taste when grand parents used to make from milk that was fresh. The falooda / faluda was very nicely made and enjoyed by kids.

As soon as we went in the restaurant we were welcomed by the servers there. We were a party of 5 and we were seated right away. There are limited seats, so it may get crowded, but when we went it wasn't busy at all. We went on Friday around 6pm. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. All the servers were very accommodating and always had a smile on their face. Now as for the food...we traveled from Buffalo, NY to come to this place to have dinner and it was worth it!!! Everything we had was just delicious!! We dined in for only appetizers and drinks. But we ordered entrée for take-out. For appetizers, we had Fuchka, Doi Fuchka and Papri Chaat. Everything was good but my favorite was the Doi Fuchka. The sweet and savory taste of Doi Fuchka just explodes in our mouth. For drinks, we all had Faluda and it was delicious. Inside the Faluda they put a rosh malai, which is very unique and tasted great. For entrée, which we took home, we ordered Walima Roast with Polau, Mutton Kachchi, Beef Tehari and Kalo Bhuna with Achari Khicuri. Everything was Delicious! Out of all these food the Mutton Kachchi was our least favorite. My husband loves Roast, and he said that the roast from Premium is now one of his favorite. For me, I don't even like Khicuri at all but Premium got me hooked! I highly recommend getting the Kalo Bhuna with Achari Khicuri!!! I want to go back just for this meal. We had a lot of food left over for dinner the next day. They were very generous in their portions. Everything about this place was great. If you want good desi food, this is the place to go to!

I am a Pakistani. My first exposure to Bengali sweets was in Karachi when post Bangla Desh a little shop Mishti Muukh opened at a busy Tariq Rd. Then I had my first taste of Mishti Dohi , again in Karachi's Gulshan e Iqbal area, by some Bihari migrants from Dhaka. Later , I used to visit a small Bengali shop in Alkhobar in Saudi Arabia. They oferred phenomenal Dal Puri. Migrated to Canada in 90. Kept searching for Bengali sweets. There were one or two in Victoria Park area. And then Premium Sweets flagship store opened at Tomken Road area. What a true sweet revolution. They originally had a smaller location and were going out of the way to please and retain customers. They would offer taste bites and insisted that one tried. We began visiting them on all festive occasions, and when visiting friends and bought treats from Premium. They have the best of Bengali sweets including Rosh Gulla, various kinds of Gulab Jamuns, Various Khoya mithais, delicious Ladoos , Mishti Dohi, Ras Malai, to name just a few. I even had the opportunity to meet the owner Iqbal sahib (sadly his brother died recently, may he be blessed). He was always kind an receptive to praise as well as occasional complaints (as I am a demamding customer ). They have now opened various outlets. My best experience has recently been at their Erin Mills store. I needed a rather large order to celebrate the birth of our first grandchild Yasmeen Ayla....... on May 22 to be precise. The outlet was probably short on some items. I mentioned that I could go to the flagship store as they may have the quantity. The lead sales person went out of the way to take a picture of my selection of mithais in a box. Communicated with the flagship to,save me time. Lo and behold the flagship team asked her to serve my need and that they would replenish any shortage from the flagship asap. My order was served in record time with sweet smiles. I am their customer forever! I can say with all my world experience that no South Asian and even Canadian dessert shops in Canada come even close to Premium Sweets in taste and service. Just phenomenal. As we say in South Asia... Premium Sweets, Zindabad, and Joy Premium Sweets. Joy Iqbal sb.

I strongly recommend visiting the place to everyone not only for the great food but also for the great customer service. I visited the Mississauga branch during Ramadan and assumed the place will be crowded. So, my expectation the customer service will be bad. I was wrong. Every employee was well trained, patient, polite and detail oriented. We ordered sweets, iftar platter, papri chat, samosa etc and truly enjoyed. Price is higher compared to other places, but the quality is amazing. No complaints. The Scarborough place is also well known for sweets, however, its small compared to the Mississauga branch. Will visit again for Biriyani. Best wishes for their future endeavors.

AHA-mazing shop! Reminded me of mithai shops back in India! Huge variety of fresh mithai is available - mostly Bengali, but they have non-Bengali mithai too. Very clean and organized. You take a number at the entrance and an associate calls you in the order in which you came in. You have a dedicated associate helping you from start of shopping to taking payment in the end. You can ask for sample of the item you want to try. They give a big sample size. The boxes in which mithais are packed are very pretty. They have more decorated boxes for special occasions, but the everyday box is also quite good. If you need help in deciding how your assorted mithai selection will look like, or what it would cost, you have help here. They have hundred pictures of sample assortment boxes with clear pictures of which mithais will go in the box, the total weight and what it would cost you. I loved this idea and have not even seen it in India. Prices are in line with the products available in New Jersey area. But the mithai at Premium Sweets is much fresh. It's easy to tell that you get same week prepared sweets in NJ, whereas here they are more recently prepared. The only suggestion I have for them is to update their website, so we can place online orders. I want to order online from USA, but could not find the links on their website.

Had a sit down meal; server was friendly and helpful. Concept is confusing in regards to numbering system ordering etc. The meals themselves were a big let down considering the reviews etc I had heard and read. Had the Mutton Biryani in a clay pot with the roti cooked above it. Presentation was nice, but for the price basically got 3 pieces of bone and 2 pieces of potato. Not enough meat at all. Falvours itself of the biryani are good. Vegetarian Thal nothing special, the Doi Fucka was amazing and so are the sweets. Go for snacks and the sweets. That's what the 2 stars are for.

Nice place to taste street food and sweet treats from Bangladesh India and Pakistan. Clean and up scale atmosphere, with a concierge style of service , the guests take a number and get assigned a host that takes cares of the order as the guests walk around from stall to stall selecting sampling and ordering dishes. Taste wise similar can be prepared at home so I would say nothing special other than this type and style of flare from a restaurant styled establishment is a rare occurrence. A kind of a novelty to try out at least once if you belong and crave for this style of food from your native country. My suggestion for the restaurant owners would be more organization in costumer handling and cleaner and more maintained facilities.

All 5 stars go for the food. Very different from what i have ever eaten. This is more of Bangladeshi menu made with richness. Not the mediocre stuff in other Bangladeshi places. Try the kachachi Biryani and chicken wings. They have chaat but I skipped those. The sweets are authentic and not customized like other places.

This dessert restaurant is no joke, their menu is so massive it feels like it could rival the Cheesecake Factory's (no exaggeration). While most of it is dedicated to desserts, they do offer food options too, but let's be honest... you come here for the sugar rush. We tried a slice of their Red Velvet Cheesecake, and it was rich, smooth, and everything you want in a dessert. We also ordered a loaded waffle topped with brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and whipped cream, basically a dessert lover's dream on a plate. Both desserts were fantastic and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even with such a huge menu, they made great recommendations. If you're looking for a fun spot to satisfy your cravings, The D Spot delivers.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to, simply because I'm not big on sweets. The cake is light and spongey and absorbs the leche/milk very nicely, and makes the entire cake very moist. Vastly different in texture to other cakes that rely more on cream and icing to balance the sponge cake. I found this cake lighter and a really unique flavour/texture. It's sweet with flavour that has depth (not just by using more sugar/syrup) and the hints of milk, strawberries, cream, etc all mesh really well. Glad to have stumbled across a new fave and I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings.

The texture of the croffles had a crispiness on the outside which made this dessert delightful to take a bite into. We chose the Honeycomb, Tiramisu and White Chocolate Matcha. We thoroughly enjoyed each flavour but a personal favourite of mine would be the tiramisu. My friend's personal favourite was the honeycomb. We're both not into white chocolate but to our surprise, we enjoyed the White Chocolate Matcha flavour as well. The matcha's earthiness really complemented the touch of sweetness of the white chocolate. The cream on top of the croffle was also rich and smooth. The ice cream was a good addition. As mentioned in my previous review, the server was friendly and had a warm smile. The place encouraged people to connect with each other and I thought it was a cozy place to do just that. Even hours later, they were crispy & SO tasty!! The variety of flavours is nice, but the puffs themselves are so delicious that anything added is just a bonus. Decent, but these sweets are not for me…read more I enjoy sweet and even the occasional Timbit, but I found these puffs drenched in oil and super sweet. Overall just very wet and aggressively sugary. In an age where people are trying to eat healthier, I cant really imagine myself coming back for this when I could have a larger portion of more refined sweets elsewhere. Likely a better fit for people with a major sweet tooth or for kids. It's similar to a treat you'd eat at a food truck in a festival or outdoor event. I feel as if I ate an entire week's worth of sugar in one go. The shop itself is pretty modern, spacious, and clean. Sparse seating, lots of mirrors, etc. But the location is great, and there's lots of plaza parking. Staff were ok but very busy with orders. The rest of the menu seems good. Lots of variety of other sweet drinks and pastries, but also items to balance out the sugar like coffee, tea, savoury pastries, etc. Kind of like a crossover between Tim's and Starbucks. I am hesitant to try other items though because of how sweet the puffs were. The pricing is also really steep for the kind of food it is. Personally speaking, Id rather hit Krispy Kreme because those donuts while sugary, don't feel as greasy / heavy as these puffs. For comparison these puffs are around $1/pc and an original donut at Krispy Kreme is around $1.50 An additional minus is the online/app ordering process. I ordered on the app, arrived, and didn't notice any instruction for pickup ( no signage , markers, etc). I waited 10 mins because it was pretty busy, staff were working nonstop, and I had just ordered less than 5 mins ago. I had to ask the staff about my order, and it turned out it was ready all along sitting in a cabinet with frosted glass doors, so I couldn't even tell they had any orders waiting. The app also didnt have a progress bar, just an estimated finish time at time of order. Less than seamless, for sure
