This company uses predatory harassment tactics to push out rent controlled tenants in attempts to raise profits resulting in higher profile property owners new and continued business relationships. They will obtain "cause" for eviction evidence in a malicious and sneaky manners and present it completely out of context, exponentially increase the frequency of notices based upon the tenants compliance and use carefully selected non descriptive wording to insinuate discrimination. They will also react in extremely drastic and childish manners when the wording in the lease agreement dose not allow them to bully the tenants and retaliate to petty things like the agreement not specifying the amount of water a tenant can use by abruptly showing up to the property (WITHOUT NOTICE MIND YOU) shutting the water off to the entire complex (WITHOUT NOTICE) and removing all the water faucets from the exterior with a finished result that would not even meet there standards if it fell under the tenant's responsibility for up-keep. They will do absolutely nothing about homeless encampments or drug activity outside your residence where your children play, make no effort to do small upkeep things like moss and mildew removal from the driveways, will wait till things like balcony's and porches are so degraded they are at risk of being sited by the city and make every excuse under the sun to address aging and dilapidated construction that cause inflated utility costs to the tenant. It came down to a electrician having to tell them the utility panel in my unit was a extreme fire hazard and dangerous for my family to be in the unit to get them to pay to fix it .My dryer vent was so clogged only months after we moved in that they had to cut open the wall to fix it and have still yet to do the finish work on the drywall 3 years later. But yet they will force maintenance repairs that have nothing to do with sustaining the property like blinds and minor drywall repair and then force the tenant to pay for the repairs and provide absolutely no line item accounting for thus said repairs. The employees in charge of managing the units are given this responsibility and power with little if any experience in the field and will conduct themselves in very inappropriate, childish and unprofessional manners such as approaching you randomly and without cause, accuse you of things way out of their station and responsibility as property managers, flat out tell you that the way you live is trashy and not up to there or the owners standards and even when you have a logical and rational explanation that prevents them from filing false and or exaggerated eviction notices, they will take drastic and retaliatory actions like complaining to the city when all you were trying to do was provide your children a cooling station during a heat wave and still follow their rules regarding pools. It is obvious the only thing that matters to this company is the profit and they have no problem causing emotional trauma to families and even young children to further that profit and in a age where the rental market is this volatile and more and more families are becoming homeless, it is obvious they have absolutely no care or concern for the community the conduct businesses in and will push the line of what is legal any way they can to achieve their gold and still seem legit on paper. And to the person at Premium that is going to try and respond to this with your carefully selected legal verbiage that paints you as something you are not. I have video recordings documenting all the above accusations and can prove beyond a preponderance of the doubt everything written in this review and am more than happy to settle this in a court of law. read more

We have found Premium to be very friendly as well as professional. They have a good maintenance team and contract with reliable tradesmen. We found them to be very knowledgeable about all types of home maintenance and feel very confident entrusting our two rental homes to them. We have enjoyed dealing with everyone from the owner, to our rental manager and including the office staff. We can rest easy that our rental homes which provide our only retirement income will be well taken care of. read more

I'll first start by saying this company has zero care for the safety of the people they rent to. We were robbed by 2 men with guns in the middle of the night, who broke the lock on our back door. The police told us that almost always these people come back to the same house again within a few days of the first time, we called premium property management right away to let them know what happened and that we had a baby and no locks on our door now. They told us there was nothing they could do for 3 days, they didn't want us to call our own lock smith because their people would be out in 3 days and to "use a stick until then". When we moved into the home in the middle of summer the AC was not working, they didn't send someone out for almost 2 weeks. Upon moving in there was also a horrid smell that made us gag, I called many times, emailed and sent in service requests only to be told time and time again "the house was cleaned before we moved in and if we didn't like the smell open the windows". When we moved out we then got charged almost 1000$ for this smell that still lasted a year later that they never even sent someone out to look at originally. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with and it is appalling how little they care for the people living in their homes. Been living in an apartment for a while now and as they raise the rent, the neighborhood gets worse, less safe and no improvements on apartments. They do not respond back to you after sending a an email with concerns. The dryer wasn't working on one of the floors and after it was reported they didn't post anything saying not to use the dryer so people continued to waist their quarters trying to get their clothes to dry. read more

Dan Noble has managed our property for nearly ten years and has done an EXCEPTIONAL job in every aspect of his work. He has carefully screened and selected qualified renters who were long-term tenants. He has managed all maintenance issues, using excellent judgment and keeping costs at a minimum. Update 1/19/11: It took quite a but of time to formulate my new review of PPM, as I don't want it to come across as slanderous. As easy as it would be to simply say "F*** You!"-- it would not be constructive, nor professional. Professional is the key word here. I had been renting from this company for nearly 2.5 years when I encountered a do-or-die situation. My cat, my love of 10 years, had been residing with a friend because my apartment was no-pet. Long story short--I moved in the cat and was soon found out. [Sure sure sure--I broke the rules and I accept that. Don't send me a message about how stupid I am. ]How they notified me was the unprofessional part. Geoff Johnson came to my home at 5pm on a Friday and interrogated my babysitter/brother. My brother would not have opened the door to a stranger, but Geoff hid to the side so he could not be seen through the peephole. When my brother opened the door, Geoff stuck a finger in his face and said, "...it really pisses us off when people sneak pets in..." and then accused him of living with me, which was completely untrue. Considering that it was after 5:30p when I got home, I was unable to contact PPM until the following Monday. Real nice--a sure 'make 'em sweat tactic' that I didn't need at all. When I went into the office the following Monday, Geoff was just leaving when I arrived. He GLARED at me, like I was a criminal and refused to talk to me. I had to talk to the receptionist (who is very nice, BTW. This review does not include her.) I offered to put up a $1,000 pet deposit, but I was turned down. No biggie. I turned in my 30 days notice, and moved into my boyfriends place. (Cheaper rent AND I can have my cat? Great. I wasn't butt-hurt.) Keep in mind that up until this point I had been a stellar renter. Never once was my rent late, never had I had a complaint about me, my residence was impeccably clean, etc. When I wrote my 30 day notice, I even included an apology letter because I was sincerely sorry to have pissed them off. They never contacted me about anything. Once. During the whoel 30 day process, I wondered if they would even do anything if I just didn't move....No one even came by to see if there really was a cat here! After move-out, I patiently waited 30 days for my deposit. I shouldn't have bothered, as when it showed up it was for a mere $50. They included a list of reasons--all bullcrap--to whittle away at my $500 dep. I wrote a letter requesting proof. The response (another letter) I got from Geoff Johnson was as unprofessional as you could get without calling me a bitch! And even after his response, it was obvious that he had ordered things to be done to the apartment out of retaliation for irritating him. Further, he went so far as to accuse me of having TWO unauthorized persons living with me--despite the fact that my boyfriend and my brother each had their own residences! He also used the word IRONICALLY wrong, but I won't be that petty. In the end, I'm pretty glad to not be renting from a company that would just show up at my door (at business closing, no less!) and harass a guest in my home without my presence. I wouldn't say DONT rent from this company, but I would definitely stay away from Jerky Geoff Johnson. OLD: BEST management company ever. So professional and friendly I can hardly stand it. Seriously. They are quick to fix problems and if you're a great tenant, they are awesome when you want to move from one property to another! I definitely rec commend this company. read more

They made me move out of my house bc of an accidental grease fire and put me on the street. Then charged me a shit load for the damages which is fine but the fact they sent me to Collections in 14 days and I paid the amount in full within 30 days. DONT RENT FROM THEM. Worst management! do not rent from them. They are snobby and money hungry and raise rent as many times as the allowed to in a year. They will tow your car if its parked wrong without any notice. I called to inquire about a property listed on the website. The receptionist, Lori, was very impudent, condescending, and at points, disrespectful! I was asked if I had any pets to which I replied "yes". She informed me that this unit had a no pet policy and I stated that I would "figure something out" with my pet as I understood no pets were allowed. She then cut me off and said very flatly "give us a call back when you have figured something out". I told her I was still interested in the house and that I would relocate my pet if needed. She then told me "well I have two cats of my own and I couldn't just get rid of them". This is was point of no return as now I feel very violated and insulted! I continued to explain that my pet currently lives with my boyfriend and if I cannot bring my pet then it will stay with my boyfriend. She then continued to tell me "we have had other tenants who have done this" meaning tenants will sneak pets in. I understand if she wants to screen me over the phone, but to do it in such a disrespectful manner was NOT OK! It should be none of her business what I do with said pet as long as it does not live with me at the rental. I am completely blown away by the complete UNPROFESSIONAL and outright RUDE attitude she had with me.
