We got our air conditioning and heating unit installed about 4 years ago. There were a few minor issues with the install, but I would assume that this is typical with any company. They did make everything right, because I did not pay the balance until I was satisfied. Then, there was a cost-savings guarantee. My cooling bills went up a ton the next summer. I compiled a year's worth of bills from PSE&G and compared them to the previous years. I called them and they would not call me back. When I finally got in touch, he had just made an excuse about the summer heat. I went from a 25-year old unit to a 90% efficiency unit and I would assume that our bills would be lowered. All I wanted was for them to check it over and they would not come. Then, this summer, we had water pouring out of our unit. I tried to call to set up a warranty service. I called on Friday and was told I would receive a call back. I called Monday and was told I would receive a call back. I then called on Tuesday, and insisted to speak with someone, where they said that they no longer send people to our area. If you need any kind of AC service, there has to be companies better than this one.

Terrible customer service, expensive and my heater is still broken…read more I spent a lot to have my heater fixed by Interstate (serviceman divulged the company marks up the cost of parts by 300%) and it broke again within warranty. I took the day off of work for an appointment to have it fixed and they never showed. I called their office 3xs asking when the serviceman would show up and they repeatedly assured me he would but couldn't commit to a time. The day passed with no call and no technician. Now the warranty has expired - how convenient for Interstate. The owner called to apologize, but I'm still sitting in the cold with a broken heater. BEWARE!!

The condenser of my AC system was leaking coolant. HomeServe had added coolant twice in 7 weeks,…read more The AC was not able keep the temperature near its setting on hot days. I called JC National (JC) and they looked at my system that day. JC reached out to manufactures and provided options quickly. The desired condenser (it provided the most clearance in my driveway) was thought to be on backorder but came in quickly instead. JC was able to schedule installation for the next Tuesday. The team arrived as scheduled. They were professional, respectful and easy to talk to. They explained the steps and the expected duration. They proceeded methodically with the removal of the old condenser and the installation of the new one. JC took the necessary time to test the parts of the system not replaced ( the air handler and piping) for leaks and to then remove the harmful moisture from the system. There were no complications and the replacement was completed that day. JC disposed of the old condenser as well as all debris and did a thorough cleanup. They left the property looking cleaner than when they arrived. I was very happy that I selected JC National AC Corp to replace my leaking condenser.
