Throughout my tenancy, I submitted multiple maintenance requests for issues including mold on the walls--an issue that was never properly addressed. One request was even denied outright by a property manager. I was consistently ignored or given vague, non-committal responses with no real action taken. Upon moving out, I was shocked to receive notice that not only was my entire security deposit being withheld, but I was being charged an additional $1,550 for repainting due to "dark spots" on the wall--spots that were clearly mold I had reported numerous times. Despite my repeated attempts to get clear answers, I was met with silence or vague explanations for over a month. I eventually did recover my full deposit, but only after persistent follow-up and pressure. No tenant should have to fight this hard for what is legally theirs. Beware of this company. If you rent from them, document everything, insist on written responses, and stay vigilant--especially when it comes to unresolved maintenance issues. Their lack of accountability and failure to uphold basic standards of habitability raise serious concerns.
