I hired Premier to determine if my water had excess iron in it. They sent out a technician who determined that there was no iron in the water but the water was acidic. So we focused our efforts on the equipment needed to reduce the acidity. I selected a self cleaning model. Installation was set up for the following Tuesday. They called two times to verify the appointment including on the day of the appointment. The plumber, Rodney, arrived exactly on time and finished the job 3.5 hours later. The job Rodney did was very professional. I am totally satisfied with the equipment and with the installation. Couldn't have asked for a better job. read more

Very unhappy with the Preimer Water Ststem bought through a 3rd party. He was installed the system he forgot to tell us we had the wrong Steiner pump then we had the system constantly running called him back said it was our well. Fast forward we had no water called for help never responded ended up calling another company they came and had to install a new pressure switch they questioned why it had not been replaced when the new system was installed . We had no clue very unhappy with the service and follow up not sure if the system was worth 5k. Should of done more research as whenever we call he blames the well which we had looked at read more

I recently returned home after being away for 2 weeks.....and was greeted with gross brown water from every faucet in my home. After trying to see if it would clear, I eventually called Premier to see if there was something I should do with the system. Jenna PATIENTLY talked me through the "draining " process of letting the water run in the tub,etc....after asking several questions re: how system was running, what to expect, etc. I was more than appreciative of her help and patience with me, answering my questions and eventually deciding that probably a technician was not needed. I called her back that day with 1 or 2 additional questions and, again, she was always patient and informative. That last day I spoke to her was yesterday and the water IS becoming clearer. On top of returning home after 2 weeks away, I was a little nervous about an upcoming surgery this week and, in my estimation, she went above and beyond to allay my fears water-wise. We just had a whole house water filtration system installed. The technician Rick that installed it did an amazing job. Extremely professional, explained the entire system to me once installed. The basement was left in pristine condition. The entire experience from contacting Premier, having the sales person come to the house, being contacted by the office and having questions fully answered and a very fair price. I will put it as simple as this. If I operated my company in the way Premier Water Systems operates their company I would be OUT OF BUSINESS. Our water filtration SOLUTION is supposed to provide us clean water for bathing, doing laundry and dishes as well as for drinking water. At this time myself, my wife and my two children (13 and 7) have been with out decent water or water pressure for 10 months. Three things I notice EVERY TIME we need service: 1) As a company they are incredibly disorganized, not knowing what type of system or tanks we have or what service should entail. They are quick to replace things with zero promise as to if it: (a) In fact actually needs to be done (lot's of guessing) (b) if it will actually fix the problem. In the past 10 months we have had FOUR site visits from Premier. Techs have been sent with the wrong sized tank (second time), and most recently was sent (and told to replace) $200+ worth of filters that were only replaced 5 months ago for drinking water only. When they did send the tech with the correct sized tank they did not send him with a new head which has resulted AGAIN in a delay. The tech hoped they could get out the following day with the head as he was surprised we were getting any water out of it at all... the next morning we woke up with almost no water by evening we had none. It has been a week now and we are being told 2 more weeks as they are "trying to get us in sooner". You would think that we would be a priority at this point. 2) In my opinion the majority of the techs DO NOT want to work in a dugout crawl space (although it is a poured concrete - clean - area) and have pretty much refused to do the necessary work to identify the problem(s) in our system when onsite and would rather guess as to what the problem might be. I have specifically asked if they could just remove the head to identify if there was a problem in the tank or head; there has not been one tech to open up our system until our most recent technician- 10 months later - to identify that our iron breaker was in fact JAMMED with iron AND the head was likely bad as well (which he did not have on his truck resulting in another delay) 3) The company itself refuses to accept any responsibility for terrible service; rather, they talk about the things that have been ASSUMED by the techs (no techs up until last week have opened up tanks - always an excuse, the wrong sized screwdriver or wrench) on the service orders; "blocked pipes" causing "low pressure" a "bad well" it's always something to do with us or our well. They NEVER return calls back without follow up calls as they have promised, we always have to follow up on every call back. I have NEVER heard an apology from the office and you would think that with this many issues the owner would have at least tried to reach out at this point, but the tech's reaction onsite speak loudly enough... they seem to be never surprised and have at times appeared frustrated and disappointed. - We have been without proper water pressure for 10 months and now have no water. This has caused our hot water and our heat to shut off regularly due to the on demand system showing low pressure in the system as well as when doing laundry. At times we have had little to no pressure at all when the system backwashes. This has been blamed on our well, and our pipes. Due to their recommendations I have called a plumber and replaced our lines into the iron breaker as well as a well company to assess our well (7 years old). There has been no change in pressure. - We currently have no water available through our system after our most recent service (a week ago) and are now operating off of raw, unfiltered - iron filled water not suitable for washing dishes or doing laundry. It smells. stains everything, and I question it's safety so we are also not showering at our residence any longer until the repairs have been completed. In addition, after the tech serviced our system we completely lost prime to our well. This has never happened before and I find it coincidental that it occurred immediately after service. Basically.... If you hire this company: Expect to wait for service. Expect to have delay after delay. Don't expect for them to get you up and running in a timely manner. And NEVER expect to be satisfied. read more

we recently had our yearly water testing done by nick and kyle, and we were totally satisfied. i had requested that they call me an hour before showing up so that i could be home to let them in, and they did. once they arrived, they immediately introduced themselves to me, letting me know that kyle was in training and we proceeded into the house. they were very polite, very knowledgeable, and had no problem answering any and all of the questions that i had. i was particularly impressed with the way nick treated kyle with total respect while guiding kyle through the process. everything went smoothe from start to finish, and like i said before we were totally satisfied. mike m. read more

We bought a Kinetico RO system for drinking water and it is awesome! Even better, our technician NIck was very creative and went the extra mile with our install. The area under our sink is tight, and we were certain we would lose shelf space in the process. We told Nick on his arrival that we knew the shelves had to go, but he figured out how to suspend the system from under the counter, saving our shelves even after we told him not to worry about it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They sent a tech to my house for a service/maintenance appointment today. The tech turned a screw on the head unit and said "this isn't working at all" he guessed at a quote for a new unit (which I cannot afford) then bypassed the unit, turning 3 ball valves. Then presented me with a $329.95 bill for the service fee, when no service was even performed. We called the company to try to dispute the bill amount and the owner basically told me "tough". Now I'm home from work and my whole upstairs has next to no pressure at all and the water is NASTY BROWN. Its a Friday night so my only options to fix this are either wait 2 days til they are open on Monday or call another plumber and pay even more money to resolve the issue sooner. Stay away from this place! First they installed the system backwards and we only found out cause the installer they sent us was working his last day for the company and he told us the truth. The first installer was fired but Premier failed to tell us that. The extended warranty only covers parts and not the labor, which as you know it is the labor that really jacks up the price! I had them at my home a many times to fix "Warrantied parts" which was a joke cause you'll get hit for about a minimum of $400 every time they show up! When I confronted the owner, he could have cared less and still insisted on the the need for labor costs even though the system has never worked properly! Stay away this place is a scam! read more

I was at Home Depot and a Premier Water Systems representative interrupted me and offered me a FREE Home water test. They just wanted to test my water to SELL me an expensive filtration system. So I took their envelope and sent a sample of my water to them. 6 months later I never got the results! SCAM! Hope Depot probably doesn't know they allowed a SCAMMER in their building! Another business that defines why zero stars should be a rating. Had them install a water softener, whole house particulate filters and a UV lamp for bacteria killing system in my house several years ago. Their first service call a year later cost over $400 to change a few bucks worth of filters and the UV bulb. Have done it myself every year since for under $75 including the bulb. Today, the UV system had a severe leak. I shut down the water and called them at 9 am for emergency service. Response from them was a request for a picture of the system, then a lecture that since I hadn't had them service the unit annually it wouldn't be covered under warranty. Warranty? I called for emergency service because we have no water. They said over $2000 for a new unit and it would be 8 days before someone could come because they didn't keep parts in stock. Thanked them, hung up and started calling elsewhere. Found another water tech service company that moved their schedule around and had someone out by 3pm. Under $200 later (yes, 1/10 the price from someone that didn't know me at all) and system was repaired and water back on in time for dinner. Just bought our home in December and it had a Kinetico system. We are unfamiliar with this system and wanted a tech to come out to ensure everything was running as it should. Up to this point the water tasted great and everything seemed to be fine. We also had a flexible tube for a drain damaged and needed that fixed. The tech was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. He Put softener in, fixed the pipe/tube, told us we should add salt, left us a $600 bill and left. By that night our water tasted disgusting and was coming out BLUE! I called the company immediately and they said they would send out a test kit! Send a test kit?!? I have 3 little kids. There was no way I was taking a chance. I had to go buy gallon jugs of water just so they could brush their teeth. Premiers answer was to use the filtered water at the kitchen sink only and wait for the kit. Who knows if the filter would properly filter whatever was making the water blue!!?! Told me if a tech was going to come out they would have to charge me!!! Totally unacceptable. My water was FINE until they came out! I will never use them again. read more

I have had REPEATED problems in dealing with Premier Water for a couple of years now. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and a few tries but after this most recent repair we will sever all ties with them. They installed an under the sink Kinetico water filter system a year ago. I called to have them return to fix a leak and the whole process JUST to secure an appointment took an hour. First they wanted me to videotape the problem before giving me an appt. , then the rep. on the phone didn't believe it was installed when I said it was b/c her reports said otherwise. Finally after 2 call backs and speaking with second rep. ( not even the manager which I had requested) they finally gave me an appt. I have to wait longer b/c I need the sr. Tech as he is most informed and has the most parts. Shouldn't all their techs be qualified and all service trucks be stocked. I recall having to wait for this tech. for our last issue a few months ago. They need more qualified techs, better customer service relations and a more stream line process to secure an appt. if I call a private plumber they don't ask me to videotape the problem before they will visit my house. I'm surprised PW didn't ask me to videotape AND then shop for the part as well before giving me this appt. which btw I have to wait longer for b/c of specialized tech. required. This unit is 1 foot tall with about 5 parts to it. Not that complicated! We r NEVER dealing with them again. If I could have given a zero for my rating I would have. read more
