We didn't have very high expectations when we stayed the night here, but we ended up pleasantly surprised. Premier Travel Inns offer a predictably good experience that is a step above what you'd get in a Travelodge.
The Boston branch is situated on the edge of Boston, so you do really need a car to get here. We did think that it might be possible to walk into the town centre, but the dark and rain put us off so we drove, and were thankful that we did - it would have been quite a trek on foot.
Check in was easy. Our room was larger than we expected and was tastefully decorated. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable - and difficult to get out of in the morning! It was also quiet. Opposite the hotel is a chain pub (we didn't eat there, having read mixed reviews on other sites) and I guess that there could be a bit of noise around closing time, but we weren't disturbed by it, and we stayed on a Saturday night.
We paid £52 for our room, which is great value. If you're looking for somewhere clean and comfortable, you have a car and you're not after luxury, then this is pretty much as good as it gets. read more
