Here's what to expect if you're wanting to go to a rage room…read more First off, checked the online bookings at 4pm on a Weds night and it was open, but I didn't want to book because I didn't know how long dinner would be. While finishing up dinner, I checked online availabilities again and only 8pm was available. Yeah I didn't want to wait that long. So I called and they had an open night. So first tip, call before heading out or ruling the activity out. Second off, you go to pick what junk you want to smash. You get to pick two crates. They have crates of glass bottles and electronics. We got one of each. There's also big screen TVs for an extra $15. The glass bottles are fun to throw and smash. Electronics are harder to ruin but fun if you need to let out more rage. Also, slug hammering a keyboard stacked on other electronics (the stacking for height) was the coolest visual because when you hit the keyboard all the keys fly up. My favorite was using the crow bar on the glass bottles. Third off, you get to choose your music to listen to. The staff mentioned Enya and I was obsessed but listened to heavy metal instead. The staff is super nice and informative. Wouldn't pay $35 to break stuff again though. While it was fun, didn't feel like $35 worth of breakage. This was my first rage room so didn't know what else to expect. Would be nice if there was a table to break things on, but makes sense considering it'll probably get wreaked. All-in-all it was a blast!!

We had cousins come in from out of town and wanted to do something fun. Ages ranging from 4-13…read more This was the spot! They had so much fun in the splatter room as well as the smash room. We definitely will be coming back.

I am convinced that Hatchet Jaxe was created for such a time as this, established in 2019 just in…read moretime for the sort of upheaval that pairs perfectly with throwing objects. If you're anything like me, there is seemingly no end to the stresses of life and pent-up aggression. Hatchet Jaxe offers the perfect channel to unload any sort of angst. It is truly amazing how chucking a metal blade down an alley at a board can be just the right catharsis, especially given the state of our world these days. Ruben and the crew of professionals at Hatchet Jaxe go above and beyond to make each experience great. Necessary COVID precautions are observed too. Throwing lanes are scattered for social distance and there is hand sanitizer available everywhere you look. For first timers they offer thoughtful instruction to make sure everyone knows the rules, stays safe, and has fun. If you've been in before, they always welcome you back genuinely making it feel like you're a good friend or neighbor stopping by to hang out and throw things. When I went in for my first time, I figured I would just check it out to see what it was all about. I did not expect to have as much fun as I did. There are a variety of different games to play aside from just seeing how many bullseyes you can hit. While it does require some skill and competitive drive, really anyone can enjoy axe throwing. It is a unique setting that allows you to connect with whoever you're with whether it's a date, family, friends or co-workers. Hatchet Jaxe is just a cool place to hang out. They have a variety of soft drinks and popcorn available and they partner with fellow local businesses such as Marcos Pizza and others through DoorDash for food options to help sustain your axe throwing focus. They also have a giant Jenga set in the back corner to keep the party going even after your axe session has expired. For all the parents out there, I'll offer a sneaky pro tip. If you have a math student in the house, bring them to Hatchet Jaxe for a practical application of basic math skills. They can practice adding scores after each throw and keeping track of how many points are needed to win, etc. I wish I could have had an activity like axe throwing when I was learning math. In fact, I may never have learned basic math as I still find myself thinking way too hard to determine my final score total. Regardless, bullseyes and kill shots are not the only skills that are sharpened with practice at Hatchet Jaxe. Bring your friends, family, dates, co-workers, aggression, pent-up anger, and waning rudimentary math skills to give axe throwing a try at Hatchet Jaxe. It is a very welcome addition to the Davis County entertainment scene.

Very fun hatchet throwing place! They have plenty of lanes and aren't busy on weekday nights. Staff…read morewere really nice and chill. I really liked the print out of games they had and there's a chalk board for whatever you want to write (I liked it for keeping score). The location is kind of funky and you enter through the east side. Overall, fun for a group or date night!
