Amanda does not like to do hands on massage for the duration of the massage even though she is very good at it. She wants to do cupping even if the client does not want it. She will take more minutes away from actual massage by doing a sound bath even if the client does not want it. The same with too much aggressive stretching. If I come in for a massage, that's what I want. I want my muscles massaged. If you are into sound baths, cupping and stretching during your massage session and want less actual massage, then Amanda is good for that.

The process was simple, comfortable, and she continued to work and stretch other areas (hamstrings, legs, hips) while cupping took effect. Highly recommended, and will return asap.

I am a mess My husband was in a car accident several years ago and played football so he also deals with back / neck issues . We I started going to Amy about once a week. ( . Her pricing was much more affordable then most massages so we were able to do it that often. ) Amy changed our lives. My pain decreased tremendously as my mobility increased as did his. I have had hundreds of massages over the years but Amy surpasses Everyone. She is so well educated in the art of massage, cupping and anatomy of the body . She finds places on our bodies that we didn't know hurt!! Amy personality and compassion is a breath of fresh air . She's also a great therapist!! We both adore Amy and so excited that she is opening her own studio. Give Amy a try, but I'll warn you her massages are addictive

Exceptionally good therapeutic massage…read more I have had four massages at Nirvana Massage, (two with Michael and two with Tara) and each was fantastic. The ambience is relaxing and serene while still being down-to-earth. I live in New Orleans and while there are plenty of good massage places here, I drive 45 minutes and cross the bridge to go to Nirvana--they are that worth it. And every birthday, Christmas, and anniversary, that's what I ask for. (Which reminds me--I'm out of gift cards and it's only August! Are Halloween Gifts a thing??) If you go, get at least the 90 minute massage--if not, you will be a very sad bear when those 60 minutes are up.

He also takes the time to share helpful tips and guidance to extend the benefits of each session long after you leave. I highly recommend this location. The team is consistently attentive, professional, and always delivers a high-quality experience.

Well not to make a scene. But I didn't want to throw my money away and walk out of the session. However she dwelled on neck and shoulders. The session was 85% neck and shoulders and 15% sole of feet only. No foot rub. No toes. No lower leg. No heel. I mentioned that to her. The provider had a good touch on the feet however I am unhappy with this session because such a small percentage of time was spent providing the service I specifically requested. I was not so happy with that but I did tip the provider. As I was walking out the desk stopped me to charge $12 for the lotion that was used. I was offered 1 of 3 lotions - all with a name. I wasn't informed that there was any additional charge for lotion. By the way. I did bring my own castor oil and they refused to o use it. Stay away from the chains. Go somewhere else.
