I use go here for massage a couple of years ago. Typical price in this area is $60 an hour. This establishment rate is $82 an hour. I decided to try since I was already inside. Therapist spoke some English and was kind. Place is clean. Needed the a/c on. I was frustrated because of lack of privacy. Room has a door with a chair in front of it. Curtain over door opening, but she would not close the curtain when I asked. She left it half way open. People can walk down the hall and see inside your room. Complete lack of privacy. This is why I gave a two star review. Place is legitimate and the massage was ok. read more

In town for a month and a half for work. Walked in with no appt at lunch time on Monday. They got me right in for a 30 minute massage. I woke up with a killer migraine and TMJ flare up. They don't speak much English, so I shower her exactly where I wanted the massage and she did everything I asked perfectly. Pressure was great, oil and hot stones were lovely. $40 for 30 mins. Next time I'll do 60 for $60, when I have more time. Glad I found this place. read more

The pricing is reasonable, and they were extremely professional and friendly. We can't stop talking about how great and rejuvenated we felt after our massage. Visiting family in Hammond, LA, I was having severe neck pain and tried another well known massage center with no real results. I tried this one a day later and immediately could tell a difference. The store front is not as commercialized but don't let that fool you. This place is A1 if you need pain relief. The only thing I could say negative is there was a little disconnect in communication but that's not too hard to overcome in a massage parlor (just say uh-huh and give the thumbs up)! Tried to get a gift certificate mailed to me as I live 40 minutes away to give to a friend that lives in the area. Spoke to two people, neither of them understood what I was asking to be done. They barely speak English. I'm sure the massages are great, but how do you know what you are going to get if you can't communicate with them? Didn't even bother to ask if they spoke Mandarin, which I speak. The short experience was frustrating to say the least. read more

I just returned from Flying Crane Chinese Massage in Hammond, LA. As soon as I walked in, I was pointed at and asked to pay first. Afterwards, the attendant got BEHIND me and pushed me in the side saying I needed to go to the room. It didn't FEEL right, so I came out of the room. Then, she showed me the receipt and said, "No money." I said, "That's not true." She kept pointing to the receipt and demanding that I go to the room again. I called my bank and put them on speaker phone. The agent said, "That's not true. You have plenty of money." The attendant disappeared into the back room, while I stood talking to the agent to see if I was charged. Turns out, I WAS. TWICE. The door opened and a woman walked in with a little boy behind her. I told her what happened. She immediately shook her head and pointed her finger in my face yelling. I told her my bank was on the phone and could vouch that my card was charged twice and that Flying Crane had made a mistake. She yelled and pointed so much that the teller says, "Oh my God." She pointed to the receipt and told me my bank was wrong and flopped down in the chair, before saying, "I'm going to call my husband. He's an American." I immediately said, "What does your husband being American have anything to do with it? This is about how I'm being TREATED." She called him and commenced to explaining to him, pointing to her arm (color) about this woman who wrongly blamed them for charges. "You weren't here," I said. "When my card was swiped, you were at lunch. Unless there's some magic genie on the phone with my bank, that's the only way they'd know that my card was swiped at Flying Crane TWICE and just now." Her husband began trying to agree with her. It was disheartening. "The sad thing," I said. "Is that I can't even call the police, because I'd probably get shot over a $62.15 bill." He dismissed it. The agent finally said, "Just leave. I managed to get rid of one if the charges. If the second charge shows up, I'll dispute it. I've never heard anything like that before in my life. I'm so sorry." THAT is how bad it was. This is a RACIST establishment. Black and brown people steer clear. When another person points at their skin to demean you, to discriminate against you, doesn't show responsibility for their actions and puts their finger in the face of a customer with bulging eyes, it's time they're called out for who they are. Horrible experience. It was much worse than what's revealed here. My saving grace was the agent on the phone who walked me through this blatant discrimination. Now, the owners are posting in response that the funds were not in my account and that I left "angry," a descriptive racist word that black women are called to justify their actions. Yelp. Please FLAG THIS RACIST establishment. read more

I woke up with severe pain in my back and shoulder. I texted and was able to get an appointment that same day less than an hour from when I texted. There is a little bit of a language barrier but with the cell phone translator no problem. I did the 60 minute full body massage for $60 which was totally worth it. When I left I was very relaxed and muscles were loose, relieving a lot of the pain I had when I got there. read more
