Their product choices are more durable and will last longer than the "less than one year" orthotics that I received last year from a competitor down the street. Absolutely horrible experience with this place. Last summer, I was new to San Antonio and needed a…read morenew prosthesis made due to recent weight loss. I hand-delivered my prescription to InMotion on July 23, 2021. At that time, I was given a timeline of 6-8 weeks for delivery. I began to notice that the timeline I was quoted was not going to be remotely accurate because my fitting appointments were very spaced out. For example, I was told by the prosthetist on September 27 that the test socket was in fabrication at the lab and that the receptionist would contact me to schedule a final fitting, once the test socket was returned from the lab. I did not have that final fitting until October 21 (3.5 weeks later). After that appointment, the final mold was sent to the lab for final fabrication and lamination. I called for an update on November 22, 2021 and was told that the finished product would be arriving back to InMotion the following day (November 23). That day, I received a call from the receptionist at InMotion informing me that the prosthesis was delivered to them, but there was an issue with it and they wanted me to physically go to their office (which was an appointment that my insurance company was billed for) to explain the issue. At this appointment, which was not until November 30, the owner of InMotion, whom I had never met, inserted himself into the room where my prosthetist and I were talking. He never introduced himself. During this appointment, the prosthetist showed me the finished prosthesis and explained that she was not pleased with the way it was fabricated. Because of this, they explained, part of the process would have to be started over again and they would have to find another lab. On December 13, I reached out for an update and was told that the prosthetist hadn't even reached out to find another lab yet. I reached out again on January 8, 2022 and was told that they were ready for the final step of the process, but needed me to come to the office for measurements on a Saturday (January 15), which I had to reschedule for the following Saturday (January 22), due to prior obligations that I had. I called the receptionist on the morning of the following Saturday (January 22) to confirm my appointment time and she acted like she had no idea that we had rescheduled my appointment for that day and informed me that the office was closed on weekends. Although she had me scheduled for a Saturday appointment the week prior. She told me she would look at her schedule on Monday (January 24) and give me a call to reschedule me. I didn't hear from her, so I called her on Wednesday (January 26) and reminded her that she was supposed to call me on that Monday. She had a totally nonchalant attitude like she just couldn't believe that I had the audacity to hold her to her word. At that time, I made the decision to cut ties with this company. 6 months of my time wasted on this place. The owner is unprofessional and the receptionist is a disingenuous liar. Steer clear! Go somewhere that values their patients and addresses their concerns.
