It affected my daily life in ways that were both physically and emotionally exhausting. Thanks to Dr. Hidalgo's treatment plan, pain management, and the use of durable medical equipment, my pain has improved tremendously and is now almost nonexistent. There was a time when I thought surgery might be my only option. Instead of rushing into it, Dr. Hidalgo took the time to carefully review my MRI and gave me an honest assessment. He told me surgery wasn't necessary, and I truly appreciated his integrity and commitment to doing what was best for me rather than recommending an unnecessary procedure. What stands out most about Dr. Hidalgo and his team is the genuine care they show every patient. From the moment you walk in, you're treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. They don't just focus on treating the injury--they take the time to listen, understand what you're going through, and support you throughout the process. I am incredibly thankful for the care I've received and highly recommend Dr. Hidalgo and his entire team.

When i arrived at the hospital in the morning of the surgery i was amazed at the team he introduced me to and they spoke to me one on one to let me know who they were and what their role was in my surgery. I met with Dr. Jude for a neurosurgical consultation in October and had a very positive experience…read more I came to the appointment alone and was treated with respect, patience, and professionalism from start to finish. Dr. Jude carefully reviewed my MRI with me and took the time to explain what was going on in a way I could clearly understand. Being able to actually see the issue helped me feel informed and confident about the recommended treatment. I never felt rushed, pressured, or dismissed. What impressed me most is that Dr. Jude was highly recommended by my neurologist of over 10 years -- a physician I deeply trust -- who described him as conservative and thoughtful, someone who does not rush patients into surgery unless it is truly necessary. That was also my experience. Surgery was presented as a last resort, not a sales pitch. After additional evaluation by my family doctor confirmed significant neurological findings, it became clear that surgery is medically necessary, and I feel very comfortable moving forward with Dr. Jude as my surgeon. I am grateful to have found a neurosurgeon who combines expertise with compassion and clear communication. Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Jude.

After initial exam, he provided 3 possible scenarios, 1 of which I anticipated. MRI confirmed portion of finger needed to be amputated and pathology confirmed osteomyelitis in portion removed. Surgery was done under a nerve block so no need for general anesthesia. Six stitches and a dressing later I was on my way home. Wound healed without issue. Dr Stein is very kind. He was very open and honest during initial exam. He asked lots of questions and answered the ones I had. He didn't push surgery but let's face it. If the problem existed for over a year , my physicians kept prescribing antibiotics and the finger had become misshapen, I knew surgery was the only option.
