Locally owned business and it shows: the owner quickly returned my call and then worked me in as a first time patient. Their product choices are more durable and will last longer than the "less than one year" orthotics that I received last year from a competitor down the street. And the competitor down the street never returned phone calls ... I had to keep calling and calling. Not SA Prosthetics! Nice to do business with a locally owned business and not a national company who has no clue how to service customers. I told my podiatrist to refer all of her orthotic business to SA Prosthetics. They return phone calls as well as provide a better quality product quicker than the national chains.

The promised 4 or 5 day delivery turned into weeks, but eventually they called to tell me my shoes were in. When I tried them on, they were so tight that I couldn't even get my feet into them. The woman knew nothing about it, offered no explanation and no alternatives. Disappointed, I asked for my deposit back, but the woman on duty told me that she couldn't do that, I had to get it from the owner - who never answered the phone, or responded to my messages. After weeks of demanding my money, and several visits when the store was closed, I finally caught the owner there, and he reluctantly pulled out his wallet, and gave me back my deposit - without apology or explanation. So I took matters into my own hands and decided to try this place. I got a free consultation and the guy seemed to understand exactly where and why my feet were in so much pain. He made a mold of my feet to make custom insoles and they were ready for pick up in 2 days. It has now been 4 days now and so far so good. Also my feet are so bad that I can no longer walk barefoot so he had some arched house shoes I could buy and those have helped a lot as well. Pricey but so far everything has helped a lot.

I wanted to get the ingrown nail removed and have the root chemically burned so that it wouldn't come back. It took a lot for me to make this appt because of the past experience.
