As you can imagine, it is hard to plan exactly how many people will attend and what time everyone will arrive. The folks are Pasquale's treated us so well. They put us in a private room and even though they close at 8:30, they never said a word as we lingered there well past that time. We seriously appreciate their kindness. We also appreciate the amazing food and service. Our waitress was friendly and patient as she took and delivered 16 drink orders. The pizza was outstanding. I had both the Taco and the Special. They were thin and crispy. Loaded with toppings, perfect crusts. Just outstanding pizza which I highly recommend.

Many of the restaurants here in town are closed on Mondays, so we were glad there was a spot open and this place had pretty good reviews. We would've popped for the pizza because it looked amazing, but neither of us can eat such thick crust pizza anymore and not regret it so we went for the Mexican options My husband ordered the super chicken burrito, which basically has two big scoops of chicken and fillings and he said it was very good I just went for a small taco salad with chicken to keep it late tonight. For a small taco salad, there was a lot of food in that bowl. I think most of the town was here tonight ordering up pizza, lol so if you can eat pizza, I would go for that The bill was very reasonable at $17 total before tip. Very kind servers - pinball machine and really interesting decor It's worth a stop if you're coming thru here.

No bells or whistles just a hard working chef and maître d' extrodinaire. I ordered a pizza after much inner debate and promised myself next time I'm in town to order Stromboli or a Calzone. I could quietly work while waiting my order as I found a plug in right by one of the five tables. The pizza fresh out of the oven was soon delivered and it was tasty! I do love bread so was equally as interested in the flavor of the crust and it's doneness (not gooey anywhere) and it was perfect, flavorful and had just the right crunch and chewiness. Overall the pizza was close to excellent and I will give it a five star although the Italian sausage wasn't as good as I would have liked. I left Iowa in 1998, but when I did live here, when ever I had the hunger for pizza, it was ALWALYS the Chicken Alfrado pizza at the Other Place. There was just nothing better. Now, I haven'y been in Iowa for some time, but recent events brought me back, and I found myself in Clear Lake. A lot has changed. I drive down Main St and see all the changes. Does anyone remember Jerry Krause, who used to own the old truck stop that was called "Milepost 194" who eventually sold it, and then bought the Town Pump bar on Main? Anyway, back to the Other Place. It's been 28 years since I had their Chicken Alfrado pizza, and I knew that being back in town that I just had to have one again. I have to say. The one I got served Friday, was NOT like I remembered. It was dry. I couldn't even tell there was alfredo sauce on the pizza? it seemed like crust, chicken and cheese. Granted, there was plenty of cheese and chicken, but the lack of sauce was dissapointing. I don't know if the alfredo sauce is made in house, or if it's brought in. maybe their destributor changed over the years, and they can't get the same sauce that they used 28 years ago. Maybe the business changed ownership and changes were made. I don't know. What I can tell you is that back in 1998, the Alfredo Chicken pizza was AMAZING. It was my go to. It was best thing on the menu. It was what I recommended to everyone I knew. The pizza I had during my recent visit was just.... Meh...
