They accommodated every request I had, and when construction delays caused my new office to be unavailable for an extra week, they seamlessly arranged secure storage for all of my items in their warehouse. I spent two different days with Russell, Dalton, Freddie, and Mark. They packed my mother-in-law's apartment the first day in Columbia, MO. The following day, they arrived with her things in a different city, and unpacked. They were polite, respectful, efficient, careful with her things, and hard workers. They showed up, did what they came to do, and made a very difficult job seem like a breeze. They worked well as a team, and made sure everything went smooth by asking questions. The crew arrived on time as well as the estimator, Steve. If a company is graded by their employees, and most are, Premier Moving and storage gets an A+. I used them in 2017 without problems but apparently they have gone downhill! Had to store my items for 3 weeks and when they delivered, many items were broken or missing. Some boxes looked like they had been drop kicked. When I called to report it to them they were not interested in talking to me. Later I discovered about $1000 dollars of jewelry had been taken from my jewelry armoire. I reported it to them and they never called me back. I had to file a police report. Don't use them unless you don't mind getting your items broken or stolen!! read more

I witnessed this company's moving truck driving like a maniac today! The truck was so aggressive, cut two cars off, tailgated the vehicle in front of them, and was swerving all around the road. I was only near the vehicle for about two blocks (thank goodness) and was appalled by their driving; they are a danger to everyone around them. For this reason I would NEVER do business with them. If they aren't courteous while driving how do you think they will handle your items when packing and moving? If you want to drive like a jerk don't have the company name posted on the side of your vehicle! read more

We used them for an out-of-state move from Columbia, MO to the East Coast. Here are the many problems we had: 1. My employer wanted to pay with a purchase order. Although Allen, the owner, agreed to it, he constantly complained to me about this. I would think the minor inconvenience of additional paperwork would be offset by an interest in good customer service. 2. I had to constantly ask them when our items would be delivered. They failed to notify me. 3. The driver arrived at our new house the afternoon before the scheduled delivery. He ended up parking the truck on our street, which did not make our new neighbors very happy. It would have been nice had they actually discussed this with us. 4. When the driver arrived to unload, he only had two other people with him. (This is compared to the 4 people they had to load our items.) It also appeared the driver was hung over because he reeked of alcohol. This meant that he disappeared for long periods of time leaving only the two other people. Needless to say, it took a long time for them to unload what was a 4000 s.q. house. 5. After we finally unpacked all of our boxes, we realized several items were missing, including an irreplaceable picture. We filed a complaint with North American; but, they denied it because we signed off on all the boxes. This is true, and we should have been more careful. However, at that point, we just wanted them to unload our items because they had moved so slowly. In hindsight, we shouldn't have used Premier. Unfortunately, we moved at a busy time (summer) and there were limited options for long distance movers in Columbia, MO. read more
