We were searching for about a month for a company to tune our newly acquired piano, & we are so…read morehappy we stumbled upon Seven Octave. Michael Chung spent nearly two full hours tuning our spinet piano. He wasn't rushed, he was incredibly thorough, and he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He explained everything he was going to be doing in a way that was easy to understand, and his attention to detail really stood out. You can tell he knows pianos inside and out. Pricing was very reasonable, and he even offered to come back in a month for a free touch-up, which we really appreciated. Just a heads up: he doesn't accept credit cards and he's definitely in high demand, so it may take a little patience to get on his schedule. Neither were a big issue for us, but good to know in advance. If you're looking for someone who's meticulous, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and genuinely passionate about what he does, Mr. Chung is it. Highly recommend!

When I've visited, the staff has always been pleasant and have seemed to understand the concept of Service. I would have been happy to give them a Five Star rating, if it weren't for poor communication. When I dropped my instrument off, the tech told me it would be about a week. I was informed after a couple of days, that they were going to order an additional Tuner set because the one I provided wouldn't fit exactly (I was informed that they would have had to drill new holes in the head, which I didn't really want). The length of time to receive the new part was crazy, until I sent a note and learned the Tuners were miraculously there. Then, when they went to install the new Tuners, they found they had ordered the wrong size and would still need to drill holes in the head-- like the problem that started it all. I was finally able to pick the Ukulele up after 3.5 weeks. Upon review of the work they did, it seems they did a great job. I'm happy with their work! But, as, I mentioned, I didn't give 5 stars because of poor communication.
