Giovanni and his team members are friendly. After I initiated a contact online, Giovanni called me to schedule a meeting at my apartment to go over all the items to be shipped and fix charges. This is just to make sure there are no surprises. They arrived on time the day before my departure from Columbia, MO to load all the items in their truck. We have used Giovanni and his crew for 2 moves. First move was in the same town, just opposite end. The second move was just over and hour and a half away. I cannot say enough about this team. They are friendly, fast, efficient and take pride in their work. The price was extremely affordable. They took excellent care of our stuff; wrapped and strapped everything. We had our move scheduled on one of the hottest days of the summer and this didn't affect this crew at all. They stayed hydrated and kept on loading and unloading. Is there a 10 star out of 5??? I recommend using Moving MO for your moving needs. I found the company on Yelp after trying and trying to find a company with a lot of local advertisement. They other companies had more expensive prices with a lot of restrictions. Giovanni responded within minutes with his quote and confirmation of availability on the date I needed. My husband was paying by the hour and Giovanni and his crew were practically running! The crew was so friendly despite the day's rain. We had bought a sectional couch the day before and they even agreed to make the stop at the furniture store to pick it up on the way to the new house. Moving MO is phenomenal! Their mission wasn't an easy one - show up at 6 am in 8 degree weather, load up a 24 foot truck with contents of a three bedroom house in 2 hours, drive from Columbia, Missouri to Minneapolis, unload the truck in -4 degree weather, haul the contents up three floors to its destination by 7:30 pm. This was a 2 man crew! It's been years since I've seen such professionalism. They took great care of the items they transported and were very responsive and helpful to the elderly, handicapped woman whose household they moved (a relative of mine). On the day of my scheduled move from my current medical office to my new one, Giovanni, owner of Moving MO, showed up exactly on time. He was short two guys, due to circumstances beyond his control. He had one man with him, Dayon. The two of them got my office moved in 3 1/2 hours. The cost was $200 less than the original estimate, in spite of being down two guys. Giovanni and Dayon are both so professional, efficient, careful, respectful, and friendly. Moving MO is cost effective, trustworthy, and will make your move stress free. I give them my highest endorsement. The only disappointment was that I didn't get to see Giovanni's son, Alessandro, again. But, I'm sure at age 4, he had better things to do that day. read more

Giovanni and his team have helped me move twice now! Once locally, in Columbia, but more recently all the way to Kirksville for starting grad school! His team and him are super professional, friendly, and FAST! My three bed two bath was done and loaded in under an hour! And despite the insane summer heat, they still run between each box they load onto the truck. I recall my local move last year only taking 2 hours, and we had to pick up furniture from two different places before unloading. I had a dreaded move from one two bedroom apartment on the third floor to another third floor apartment. The movers we hired for the last move complained every time up the stairs so I decided to look elsewhere. We recently hired Moving MO to move our 4 bedroom home and we were very impressed with the work ethic and care of Giovanni and crew. We have many valuable (and heavy) pieces of furniture that they disassembled, transported and set up without damage. The owner Gio is incredibly helpful, responsive and flexible. He has helped me and multiple people I know with moving jobs big and small. They've helped move a friend's piano twice as well.
