Our yard is probably one of the most challenging yards you could imagine, set on a steep slope with a septic mound taking up the majority of the backyard which makes it difficult to do much with the space. We had recently purchased a new construction property and the seller (Justin Smith, The Homescout, LLC) bailed on the outdoor work before it was completed leaving us with a poorly built, unpermitted retaining wall and considerable grading and drainage issues. Littleton Earthworks came to the rescue and helped us mitigate many of the issues with creativity and thoughtfulness that we didn't see from the any of the other companies we spoke with. Dan from Earthworks proposed some great solutions and seemed to enjoy thinking through how to solve the problems at hand. The end result was so much better than we could have imagined and the regrading gave us a significant addition of usable space in the backyard. And, when we had a tropical storm come through the day after work was completed Dan came back with his crew to reseed and install an erosion control blanket for a nominal price, really going above and beyond. Everyone on the Earthworks team was great to work with and super nice, we couldn't have been happier with the service and the results. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan and his wonderful team!

I eded up choosing RD and have been very happy with them. They came out to take a look around while I was at work and emailed me an estimate for the job, no scheduling or effort needed on my part, which was great. I called a little late in the season, but they were able to get me on the schedule with no problem. Their standard fall cleanup comes in two phases: once part-way through leaf season and again around Thanksgiving once the leaves have fallen. Their team did a great job both times (and my house has a *ton* of leaves, we are practically surrounded by oak trees). They removed all the leaves, raked up acorns, and left the yard looking great. Shawn McCarthy came out once but over the past 2.5 months he's promised quotes and calls back whenever I reach out every week, but he's yet to follow through on anything. I also found Concord messed up when our HOA had them do work around my unit and they threw out a couple hundred dollars of my patio stones and when I tried to follow up about getting reimbursed again it was total silence.

Finding that all in one company is nearly impossible -- but I found it with Jose and J. Gudiel Landscape. Jose came out to see my house and discuss what I wanted. I was away when they first came to work but when I got home, even in the dark, I could tell they had been at the house and did a great job weeding, trimming trees and mowing. I am very happy with the quality of their work and attention to detail. I then asked Jose to help clean up an overgrown section of the property to prepare it for a playground. We had a back porch that was rotting and falling apart and needed to be removed. We also had a hot tub that I thought would complicate things. But when Jose arrived to give us a quote he knew exactly what needed to be done and that's why we hired him. His team deconstructed our porch and made a beautiful patio along with two sets of steps. They also made a support wall to ensure that the steps stay in place. Throughout this whole project, Jose was easily approachable, communicative and friendly.
