From initial consultation to start of the work, everything was smooth and very simple - he explained very clearly what was needed and kept making sure I had no questions. During the same visit, as he was assessing the roof on my garage, he inquired if I ever considered a skylight for the bonus room. In like manner, he had an assessment and estimate in my hands and, after I agreed, likewise made a point to begin the work as soon as he could. I've attached pictures to show progress. I am beyond pleased with the final product. Not only did they install a beautiful skylight, they repainted the rest of the wall to match and the finished work looks as if it were installed as part of the original bonus room. Douglas and his team clearly know roofing, windows, and framing. And their skills back up their work. To make things even better, when a subsequent wind & rain storm resulted in a few drips on the sides of the skylight, Douglas and team were back within days to reassess their work - they removed the skylight, re-checked and shored up the lining, and reinstalled the window in less than a day at no additional cost. We hired JS Masonry to fix leaking around our chimney. Juliano came out and suggested repointing, a…read morenew concrete cap and full waterproofing of the chimney. I went forward with the work. Chimney looked much better after the work but unfortunately the leaking along the chimney was not fixed and leaked just as badly during the next storm a week later. I tried contacting JS Masonry multiple times afterwards hoping that they could figure out the problem but they never sent anyone out despite saying they would. Less than a year after the project much of the new concrete cap had crumbled off along the edge so obviously there were issues with the work. I get that they're probably quite busy but I don't appreciate a company that doesn't stand behind their work and would not recommend them for chimney repair.
