This is from the $1,000 repair bill description of my plumber on 8/14/2025: Upon arrival, I turned on water meter and heard lots of water running through it. Inspected inside. No trace of leak inside home and fixtures were not working with all shut offs turned on and meter turned on. After further inspection of waterlines in home and mainline, I found large leak in between home and meter under the fence post. Determined when fence was installed, the fence installer-Premier Fence LLC cut through waterline and tried to repair it themselves and did not repair properly. It has probably leaked since the make shift fix was made in haste until it finally blew apart. All the water was leaking underground and was not reaching the house line. Now the house line has been properly fixed and repaird. It is up to code and function propely with no leaks now. The total cost was $1,000 and it took 2 days for the digging and repair work to complete I contacted the company and was told by the owner that they will accept 1% of the responsibility and will not provide any compensation to correct the problem they created. I recently had a large custom ~500' vinyl fence (RUCO Brand Timberland Series) installed in my backyard, and overall, I'm very satisfied with the result! The fence itself is of excellent quality, and the textured driftwood finish adds a beautiful touch to my yard. The installation process was impressively quick, which was a big plus. The only reason I would take away 0.5 stars is that the office could improve in terms of communication during the planning phase. There were moments where I felt updates could have been more consistent, but in the end, everything was handled professionally. If you're not in a rush or don't have highly custom needs, you'd probably give them 5 stars for sure! All in all, I'd recommend Randy and team for their quality work and efficient installation. read more

Absolutely do NOT hire this company. A fence that fell down and terrible customer service. We had a wood privacy fence installed at the end of 2014. In 2019 we noticed a large section of it leaning and coming out of the ground. We finally got around to doing something about it in 2020 and called them to fix it. No offer or mention of an apology for our fence doing this only 5 years later- just a charge of $1,000 to fix it. My husband was the one who called and didn't feel like arguing with them about it and paid to have THEIR awful fence fixed. Not too long after we noticed another whole section leaning and coming out of the ground. One day I came home and pulled into the driveway to notice an ENTIRE gate and two panels completely out of the ground and laying on the driveway. Thank God our dog didn't get out. Now the back gate no longer works because it has come out of the hinges. Both of our gates we have to physically pick up in order to get them back in the lock. I called and left them a message on Friday explaining the problem and to please call me. But I realized it was right as they were closing so I didn't expect to hear from them until Monday. Monday passed, no call. I called again on Tuesday and spoke with their office manager. Her tone was friendly until the point that I began to tell her my problem and that I wanted to speak to the manager. She then very rudely said she would have him call me back and hung up abruptly. The manager called me back later that day. I very calmly explained what was happening with our fence and that I would like it fixed. He said that it wasn't their fault and that industry wide 2014 was a bad year for wood and it wasn't treated properly. And that it wasn't the workmanship. UM...YOU ARE THE FENCE COMPANY. If there is an industry problem in YOUR industry that is up to you to handle it! Not the customer. Not my fault your industry had a problem. And some of our issues are clearly not the wood. There are spots where the posts are pulling apart from the nails at the top. I never once raised my voice but I very firmly explained my disappointment in his response and that I would like it fixed. He started to get very defensive and offered to fix the fence at cost. I didn't think we should pay anything to fix a fence that is falling out of the ground when we already paid $1,000 to fix 5 posts in the fall! He then became extremely rude and said he had "been biting his tongue" acting like I had been yelling at him. The conversation ended abruptly. And now what makes me incredibly upset is that they were at our house in the fall fixing the five posts with no mention that the wood was bad in 2014 and more posts might be coming out of the ground. You would think a company that cares about their customers and stands behind their work would feel bad that 5 posts needed to be fixed and might go out of their way to make sure the rest of the fence didn't rot. NOPE. They never even once apologized that it happened at all. I truly have never heard anything like it. I have never heard of anyone saying they pulled up to their house to find their fence just laying on the driveway. It's so ridiculous to even say out loud. I realize it would cost them money to fix it- yes, that is what happens when you run a business. If you install a faulty product, the responsibility lies with you. Not with me. Can't even fathom paying thousands of dollars for a fence and then paying thousands of dollars more to have it fixed when the problem had nothing to do with us. We went with Premier because of high reviews. Got the most expensive fence: Pre stained Oak. spent $7500. The work was half a$$. Gaps ALL around the fence, rocks dug up and just left beside the fence. The gates don't even open properly. I called the owner and he guaranteed RANDY would be out to fix it. Fast forward a month: No one came. They sent a form to sign a week ago and it clearly states on the form "DONT SIGN UNLESS WORK IS COMPLETE" Well I don't sign it. Get a phone call today talking about putting a lien on the house. And then RANDY wants to get an attitude with me and the owner when I called him out. But then again he's had an attitude the whole time anyways. Showing up with out a mask, and maybe because we are an interracial gay couple he has treated us this way. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Please do not use Premier Fence. They installed a fence for me April 20th and 21st this year. They put a fence post through my main sewer line and cemented and covered it. I could not use the plumbing in my home and had to spend $5500 to get emergency service to reroute the sewer line/dig up my cement driveway. The owner Walter Donnell, was kind initially and took my call. He said that because sewer is a private line and 811 does not mark it, it is not their responsibility and repetitively told me that they did "nothing wrong". He is unwilling to meet me half way or help me with a problem that was not there before they installed the fence. He is unwilling to share insurance information for me to file a claim. I asked if this is how he does business and he feels ok with leaving someone with this problem... and he again stated that they did nothing wrong. I can forgive the fact that it took 7 weeks to get my fence installed and I had to call John Roth (the job manager) multiple times to get updates about installation after they already had my deposit. Initial lead time given was 4 weeks.... but to say I am disappointed is an understatement. I saved for years for this fence... I went with Premier (not the cheapest) because of their reputation.. and I wish I had never worked with them. I will have further charges incurred to re-concrete my driveway. I just cannot imagine treating someone this way and not trying to make things right. I will end up paying more in repairs on my plumbing then I have for the entire fence. read more

I don't like writing bad reviews but today I feel compelled to do so. I had Premier put up a fence back in 2022. The side gate was not installed correctly, as the latch did not line up as it should. I have now been trying for over 18 months to get this fixed. When I call the office, they just refer me to my sales rep- Randy. I have left numerous voicemails and emails for Randy and he has failed to return any of my calls or respond to my emails. I have been patient but enough is enough. read more

We got our vinyl fence from here and used Adam. These guys were fast and courteous. They cleaned up their mess from where they'd been working at the end of each day. We had a minor issue with the fence due to really high winds after the installation and they were out here as fast as they could to fix it. Recommend giving them a shot! read more

When we moved into our new home 3 years ago, a friend recommended Premier Fence Company. At the time, they did exactly as we discussed in a very short period of time in a very thorough manner. I am pleased to say the fence has held up exceptionally. Except, when we had a neighbor mowing their lawn and he ran into our fence. Instead, I have gone online to get two different price quotes from them because after the first one I never heard from anyone again, despite emailing and calling the office. Three weeks ago I requested a second quote. After another week of not hearing anything I emailed Walter who is my main contact for the project. He said he would look into it and get back to me. Three weeks later still haven't heard a word from them despite calls and emails. As a member of the local chamber I am disgusted so far with my experience. Beware! Very disappointed in their customer service.Had two areas that were not level in a very noticeable way. When doing the final walk thru I made them aware of these two areas and they made every excuse I the book why it was not level and then at the end on if the owners looked at me and said In order for your fence to be level you have to ask for that in the beginning and there is an extra cost! I mean really your fences are not level unless you pay extra!!!!! I now regret the day of ever ever doing business with Premier Fence. Do yourself a favor and call the other companies. Well the long and the short is that the work had to be finished while we were gone. The workers Allegedly left the hose on. It was discovered 10 days later by the lawn service and turned off. Soon after I returned home to a water bill for $1079.00. I talked to Walter and he told me I couldn't prove it. Since I was gone for a month ...the water company showed zero usage for the month except for for the 10 days that the hose was running full blast. Allegedly they did it and I get to pay Consolidated Utility water the $1079.00. So all the goodness and warm fuzzy feelings went right out the hose! read more

If you want a fence, find another company. We had them install our fence after a heavy rain, we had even texted John and said hey maybe wait and deferred to their supposed expertise in fence installation, but out they came. Of course their crew did an outstanding job in destroying parts of our yard, to include screwing up the grading which did not allow for proper drainage of equipment and destruction of new sod. So, we contacted John after he said we needed to give our second payment, at which point we said we have a problem and would like for you to come out and look at it, which he did. He took pictures of the damage, and we both amicably agreed that the damage should not have occurred and he would get these to the office for their review. Nothing heard back for over a month. Then the other day, my wife receives a call from a very rude individual in their accounting office who does nothing to try and resolve the situation but only resorts to bullying and threats of putting a mechanic's lien on the house. When he asks my wife what she things should be done (because heaven forbid they try to come up with a solution) she states, as a suggestion, let's get someone out here to take a look to have it corrected properly and then just deduct that from the total (we weren't trying to get out of paying the bill at all as I had also told John). His response was well he'll just place the lien until WE figure out what we are doing. Right. Takeaway, they screw something up on install they will put minimal effort into finding out what went wrong, and absolutely zero effort into correcting it. Stay away, I'm sure there are FAR superior companies that will beat them not only in installation, but in customer service as well. read more

Signed a contract for a fence with Joey and paid down payment. Was promised - weather permitting- it would be completed within 6 weeks. After 7 weeks, we called and Joey says they can't deliver the fenced we ordered. So they didn't deliver on time and they did not deliver the fence as promised. Spoke with the owner who couldn't understand why I would be upset! I explained that if someone had communicated, we would have been much more understanding. I don't guess they were ever going to call or put up a fence since we never heard a word until we called to question when the installation would take place. Because we needed the fence ASAP, we allowed them to put up a different fence AND they refused to adjust the price even after they were late and delivered a product that costs less. Don't trust them! They will not honor their contracts. The owner lied and said the fence they put up was more expense. We have checked prices and it totally is not. This was the first fencing company I contacted to schedule a home estimate. The guy was 20 minutes late and when he called (20 minutes after the scheduled appointment) he asked if we were still meeting--even though he was late. Once I received the quote, I asked about pricing for different styles and never received a response. I'm not sure what's going on with some of these fencing companies. The first two I contacted, including Premier Fence, were nonresponsive and I am a very motivated buyer. Not sure if they think I can't pay or what, but if a customer is interested in hiring you, wouldn't you want the business--especially in the time of COVID-19 when businesses are suffering. We chose Premiere because we liked a fence they'd done in our neighborhood. The quote was great and the salesman was professional but the install was a different story. We were told you didn't need to be home during install so we weren't, but unfortunately the crew tripped a breaker that happened to have our garage door opener on it so when our daughter got home from school she couldn't get into the house. She was standing there trying to figure out how to get in when one of the installers approached her and told her to go inside and turn the power back on because they couldn't plug in their tools. At that point she burst into tears and ran next door and called me. I rushed home infuriated that an adult male had approached an obvious minor and upset her more than she already was. When I got home I was even more appalled - these guys had parked their truck and trailer in the center of our very wide (25') driveway with materials thrown on both sides completely blocking it. The salesman never asked permission for the install crew to use our driveway, much less throw materials all over it. They moved so I could get into my own house and reset the breaker. About 30 minutes later we tried to leave again only to find the new location of the truck and trailer was completely blocking the driveway at the street. Again, I had to ask them to move their vehicle - who completely blocks in a customer's entire driveway when they're obviously home?! The next day I was still upset about the experience but the fence is nice and I let my dog out to play in our backyard. After a bit, I couldn't see her and went out looking for her to find her eating fast food scraps left in my yard from the installers (complete with ketchup packets). So my small breed dog, who we've never fed table scraps to, has eaten who knows how much of someone's greasy fast food. I was infuriated all over again. If you choose this company, be prepared to not only be home on the day of install but plan to include the yard itself in the inspection process because the installers very clearly have no respect for you or your property. This is a new home so we've had a steady stream of contractors through here in the last 6 months and these were by far the most unprofessional. Edited to add the latest thing we found in our yard from the installers: a chain saw blade...really. I'm telling you, if you're looking for a family friendly, conscientious company - keep looking! read more

I had longed for a fence for many years, and when I was finally ready to get one, my daughter and I did a very in dept research. We discovered that Premier had the best offer and they came with a lifetime warranty. They were very courteous. They gave a bid and they weren't going to charge extra if they have to go through rock while digging. Loved this, all other company's charged a fee per hole. (Rutherford is mainly on rock). I was so exited when they put my fence up and it looks great! My neighbors have even commented on how great it looks.
