AND... * when deconstructing the old fence, they piled the old wooden planks on top of a kindling holder we had crafted months earlier (nothing fancy, just a DIY using a couple of cement blocks and wooden planks)... when they came back to remove the old wood, they inadvertently also hauled off our kindling holder (initially choosing to pile wood on top of it likely wasn't the best judgement call) Yet, despite these two hiccups, I WOULD STILL COMFORTABLY RECOMMEND Big Jerry's Fencing to anyone currently in the market for a fencing crew!

They're too nice to leave a negative review, but this needs to be shared so others do not make the same mistake they did. Due to Cody's shoddy workmanship, within 12 days of the installation the fence gate had dropped to the point that the gate no longer shuts or latches. It also drug the ground making it impossible to swing open. Among other things, this was largely due to him improperly installing the needed hinges to support the gate. When my parents informed him of this, he blamed it on rain washing dirt back onto the fence (something unrelated to the problems they had), told them to "get a shovel", and later sent my mother a crybaby emoji when she asked that the come back out and fix his mistakes. We went with the clean 6' white PVC vinyl with one gate and absolutely love it. Our neighbors were also in on it, so SafeGuard got to install three connecting fences, which looks great! Our Sales Rep was excellent from start to finish, and even after. He was informative, professional and not pushy, which was nice. The process was seamless and timely. There were no issues, the crew arrived when expected, were professional while on site and did great work. The warranty is also excellent. Almost two years after install, we were seeing small gaps. One call in and they had a team stop by to tighten the fence and close the gaps at no cost. Speaking of cost, SafeGuard is an excellent value! We spent around $5,000 for our fence. We received estimates from $4,500 to $25,000, so landing on the value end of that while still receiving great quality and service is an absolute win! Overall, highly recommend and glad we did business with SafeGuard!
