Pretty disappointed zero stars isn't an option. This was the most unprofessional DJ service I have ever seen. The one thing that DID impress me, they checked all the unprofessional boxes. Let's go through them here: 1) show up late 2) show up in street clothes 3) bring your kid to an adult only wedding 3) play karaoke from youtube on iPad 4) force the guests to hold the iPad during karaoke 5) come up with songs to play on the fly and when you can't think of any new songs, just play the same songs over and over 6) when confronted with issues, throw up your hands and say 'oh well, you already paid'. Look, there are a ton of services out there, just avoid this one at all cost. They farm out the actual jobs to contractors and have no quality control or follow through. They aren't interested in dealing with you after the service has been paid for, which should scare you. If your choice is to pay a couple extra hundred bucks or use these folks, pay the money or save it all by doing it yourself. For about $150 you can rent the equipment they brought and borrow an iPad from a quest/family member to run the show, just like them. You too can be a "professional" DJ and save money for your honeymoon. And to be clear, this wasn't even my wedding so I'm not out a single cent. I was the best man and helped with their setup and dealt with the b.s. afterward. I just don't want anyone reading this to get tricked into a subpar reception. If you're reading this, go elsewhere. I promise that'll be the best choice you make planning your wedding/event. read more

DJ was late. Showed up as the wedding was starting. Played wrong music for wedding exit song. Time taken to fill out playlist and timeline. DJ did not play but a few songs on our playlist. Played songs from genres we DID NOT request or want. When approached by the father of the bride to correct this he blew off his requests. DJ videoed guest dancing to song to mislead others into thinking that he made the wedding great. Multiple times when no one was dancing due to DJ not playing song list. Would NOT recommend this DJ service...unless you want your event ruined. Very stressful. So disappointed. read more

It has been three months since this organization sent a DJ and a photographer to capture the events of my daughter's Bat Mitzvah and we have not yet seen a single photograph. The company resisted our efforts to contact the DJ and the photographer several weeks ahead of the event so as to coordinate efforts and reduce the likelihood of errors. The photographer needed guidance from us on settings in which to take the photographs, despite our presence at a beautiful resort. We prepaid the entire event fee, including the cost of a videographer, who did not show up (ostensibly because of a motor vehicle accident) and the photographer had to "double" as the videographer; additionally, we prepaid $400 for monogram lighting which was not delivered, who blames the host hotel as uncooperative in allowing it to be placed. The Hyatt Regency Resort could not have been more cooperative or professional in all its dealings with us around this event. Furthermore, the DJ claimed before the event that he was familiar with all the appropriate cultural music for a Bat Mitzvah event, including "The Hora", a widely known and traditional dance for such events, yet he did not play this music nor explain his reasoning. Buyer BEWARE!!!! Let me explain a little bit about what this company does. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT ACTUALLY EMPLOY ANY DJS PHOTOGRAPHERS OR VIDEOGRAPHERS. They are basically a finder service. when you contact premier to book for a wedding or another event they will quote you a rate. After quoting you that rate they then go on to craigslist (yes you read that right) and pimp your event as if it where there own. usually giving it to the first DJ/Photographer who responds. Then they take their chunk off the top and sends this otherwise unknown agent to your event. if the agent gets reviews they will try to contact them for more events in the future. if they do not then they tell the customer "we'll look into this" and break all contact with the agent. Then start the process over again until they have a selection of a least a few agents they feel they can trust in every area. Here is the kicker. 50% of the time THEY DON'T PAY THE AGENT. They have figured out a system of paying via paypal with Echecks that aren't set tp clear until well after the event. Then when the payment doesn't clear the bank they tell the agent they will "look into it" and "it must be a problem with the bank" then they quickly block all contact with that agent leaving them high and dry. Many of these jilted agents have started contacting the customers directly trying to get paid dragging them into this mess. I myself have worked for premier on over 15 events and though in many cases I have had to fight and threaten to get paid I always did eventually until recently. I worked for premier because of the sheer volume of work that was being offered. it was only recently that I started hearing from customers on how poorly they where being treated and how rudely they where being spoken to. when I voiced my concern on this was when I received the treatment mentioned above. I am currently speaking with both legal council as well as other jilted agents (photographers and DJs) about a class action lawsuit against this company who has swindled small businesses out of what amounts to THOUSANDS of dollars in unpaid wages. To those seeing good reviews on this page realize that speaks nothing to the services offered by premier. It is sheer luck of the draw that they found a good DJ or Photographer on Craigslist. I have been in this industry for over 17 years as a professional DJ and have NEVER worked with a company conducting business in such a fashion. From time to time Premier does run across a good DJ/Photographer and as a consumer there is a chance you will have a wonderful experience by working with true professionals. But the chances are much higher you will meet with disappointment and even those who enjoyed their event may face the nightmare of being dragged into payment disputes with this company even though they paid for their events. My husband is a DJ and did a sweet 16 in Budah on October 10. We received the check 2 days before the event and deposited into our bank account. A week later, I received a call from my bank saying the check bounced. My husband called Steve and his words were, "oh shit, we had 15 checks bounce last week". How unprofessional! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had the worst "DJ" that I have ever seen!!!! We would have been much MUCH better off connecting our phones to a speaker and playing from there. You can't claim to be a DJ when you are playing everything off of YouTube! There was a at least 5 minutes of silence between EACH song (probably because of loading and ads from YouTube). They were completely unprofessional in dress, behavior, and equipment. We were very disappointed that they played virtually no song that we had on our list (that we sent them ahead of time). I used premier event services for my wedding last weekend and they sent me a DJ named DJ Adam that can only be described as a hack. Him and his MC partner came attired unprofessionally for a formal event as a bad start. They then set up the weakest sound system you can imagine and during the introductions they had feedback sounds, and abrupt starting and stopping of the music. They then went right into the first dance and skipped the dances with our parents to go to toasts which were scheduled for dinner. When we asked why the MC walked away and never came back. We then had no music post toast and my wife had to go to the DJ and state please play something. We got rap and dance music while eating which was so bad and choppy my brother in law got up and asked the DJ to just play Billy Joel. Since when do you have to tell your DJ what to play?? Especially when you talk prior and spend 2 hours reviewing the song list and order of events. We then see the DJ taking photos around. The room. What DJ leaves the DJ area to take photos?? He stated it was for his website...really?? The venue had to ask him to leave as he was so bad and he is not to "perform" there again. We had to get a friend of a friend to come and DJ and the first hour and half of the night was ruined. When I shared the horror story with Steven from Premier Events he stated he found my story hard to believe as he works with the DJ all the time. I asked for references, resume and photos of the DJs prior successes and gave him 2 days to present. He never did and is avoiding all my calls and my wife's calls. This company is a hack. They pay to have positive reviews posted on their site that can't be verified and do not care that they are dealing with what should be the happiest moments in people's lives. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My parents hired a photographer through this company as a gift for my wedding. The pictures were horrible. When I contacted India (only person you can get in touch with) she told me to submit my photos for review. I submitted and she never got back to me. After multiple attempts at trying to reach her, I contacted the photographer (who was completely unaware of any issues). He then had her call me. She never reviewed photos and did not do a thing to make the situation better. When I asked to speak to a manager or another person who can help me with this situation she would not give me any other contact information. So, $1,000.00 later- not one picture of my ceremony, (small wedding- 40 people), half the people were not in pictures. Half the pictures eyes closed. No photoshopping done. According to India, these are "raw" photos and why they are this way. I guess professional photos are NOT their forte. If you are looking for professionalism and quality this is not the company to choose. If you are looking to pay a lot of money for photos that can be surpassed with an iPhone- than this is it! Sorry for the negative review - just thought people deserve to know what they are getting. The photographer was very nice and agreed with me that for the price that this company charged he personally would've provided me with photoshopping and a wedding album. They gave me 300 "raw" photos in an email and that was it! After numerous attempts to fix this and try to request a better product or money back I still have not heard. As a Photo Booth services vendor we have done several events for Premier Events Services, and or Fantastic Events Services. On one occasion in early in May we could not make an event to service a photo booth. It was verbally agreed, via a telephone conversation, that my company will return the fee. Also as per agreed in a contract, (between our companies) that any return of fees is to occur within 11 days. A check was sent within 7 days to premier Events Services to return the fee sent to our company. Later, we discovered that Premier Event Services, had cancelled their check. And then proceeded to cash the check we sent to them. Upon inquiry of this matter, Premier Event Services has promised a prompt refund of the check amounting to $350. It has now been over 60 days and many lies and false promises from this Premier Event Services employees. Our associates are pursuing legal counsel. Meanwhile, we have began a daily rant of this matter until it is resolved. read more

Omg, these guys sent us the worst DJ ever! If you hear the name, Todd "the Boogieman" Gaylord, run for the hills! My complaint is not so much with Premier, but with who they choose to represent them. I spent months hand picking the songs for my wedding. The music was very important to me; it sets the mood throughout the evening and is a true reflection of the bride and groom. Premier has a website where you can lay out the timeline of your event, identify which songs to play for the special moments (first dance, cake cutting, etc.) and you just need to finalize it a week before the event. I was a bit surprised at the lack of variety to choose from; many of my picks fell under "special requests" because the database they use couldn't identify them. But it was nice to customize my playlist that way. Too bad the DJ didn't follow it....... Okay, so a few weeks before my wedding, Premier sent me an email with the name and contact info of my DJ (Todd Gaylord). I received an email from him a few days before the wedding. It was basic stuff: who's in the wedding party, etc. But I became concerned when he started asking about the timeline of the wedding and which songs to play for the first dance, father\daughter dance, etc. I had already identified those on Premier's website. Then, the day before the wedding, he tells me that he doesn't have the following songs: "That's Amore" by Dean Martin, "Edge of Glory" and "You and I" by Lady Gaga,"Jump in the Line" (Shake Shake Senora) by Harry Belafonte," Les Yeux Ouverts" by The Beautiful South, "LOVE" by Nat King Cole, and "Let's get it Started" by the Black Eyed Peas. He wanted me to bring him a USB flash drive with these songs on it. Seriously??! First of all, these are not unusual or hard to find songs, and "That's Amore" was our first dance song. He is the professional DJ, and it's 2013, so he should have access to every song that was ever recorded. Secondly, you do not ask a bride the day before her wedding to provide you with something that is your job to obtain. I didn't get to his email until the morning of my wedding, so I was freaking out when I read it. When we arrived at our reception, the first thing I did was have the wedding coordinator check to make sure he had our first dance song, because we had taken dance lessons and practiced for months for our wedding. Turns out he figured it out, but the coordinator was already pissed with him, so I should have figured something was off. And boy, was it! Todd "the Boogieman" Gaylord was completely wasted throughout the wedding. He introduced himself to me, and I thought he looked a little odd - I think he was high. By the end of the evening, he was plastered. The wedding coordinator had cut him off earlier, but he just stole people's drinks to get around it. He put no thought into the playlist: all the Michael Jackson songs were played in a row. All the Queen songs were played in a row. He'd start songs then change his mind and play another one instead. He cussed into the microphone several times, including two f-bombs when he shouted "This is a f-ing country club! It's a f-ing country club!" He repeatedly creeped me out when talking about my looks - not, "What a beautiful bride" sentiments, more like "Check her out, she's looking good, shake that ass, girl". He played 4 so-called "last songs", because it was obvious he didn't want the party to end, even though the guests were leaving. Then he grabbed me and my new husband from behind in the parking lot to give us a big hug for being so "awesome". Then he almost got in a wreck driving out of the parking lot. All in all, I had a beautiful wedding and everyone enjoyed themselves, but it was in spite of the DJ'S behavior, not because of it. I'm just thankful he's the only one who made an ass of himself that night - and yes, he was the drunkest person there. And I paid him for it. Pathetic. Steve, the rep from Premier, was very surprised to hear all this. He called me as soon as I sent him an email indicating that I would not be posting positive reviews. He said they use Todd a lot and had never had complaints about him, but that he should probably go over the alcohol policy with him. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't want anyone like that representing me and my company, and this guy should be out of a job. I hired Premier for DJ and Photography services. Their prices are among the cheapest around, but for good reason. I didn't hear from the DJ or the Photographer until two days before my actual wedding because Premier waited until then to give them both my contact information. The DJ was told my wedding was the day after it actually was, and upon learning the information, had to make arrangements and call me back. Luckily, everyone showed and everything went smoothly, but that wasn't the only problem I had. I signed a contract that stated I would have my wedding pictures two weeks after my wedding date. Since it's been over a month, and they haven't actually paid the DJ or Photographer (per the DJ and Photographer,) I have yet to receive my photos. Every time I e-mail the company, they give me excuses. Now the Photographer tells me they're ripping her off, and not paying her everything they owe. I wish I had read reviews (there are a lot out there) before I hired them. I would have spent the extra money for a more professional company. I have even contacted the BBB who have had 30 complaints for this company within the last three years. I was very fortunate I almost booked premier events for my wedding. Right off the get go I took several days to hear back from Steve Thomas ( or what ever his name is) whether I called him or email him. He could never answer the most basic questions, once asked where he was located to which he stated " well the company is located out of Colorado." The contract had to be re drafted twice due to the amount of money being incorrect. It took several day to receive the contract by email, and that fact that the contract stated I could pay the balance by check; yet it required me to submit my credit card info and a fee was to be charged to it. The further I researched this company's and found the reviews lest then spectacular, along with the suspicious service I received ; led me to withdraw my interest. I found another company and within a matter of 8 hours, had a contract drawn up, everything negotiated and signed, not to mention it was 100 bucks cheaper and I actually got to speak to somebody. These guys are a joke!!!! I booked them for my wedding in Denton, TX on May 18. They contracted their work out to a helpless guy who they didn't pay until the day of the wedding, so I had to haggle with him about actually DJing the reception. They sent him NONE of the info about what was to go on at the wedding. NO song list, NO order of announcements (cutting the cake, etc), NOTHING. When I called them about it, all they do is PASS THE BUCK. That's the name of the game with these guys, they just blame everybody else instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. Did I mention they didn't send him the song list? That was important. If we hand't contacted the DJ directly, he wouldn't have even known what songs to play for our first dance, father daughter dance, etc, let alone what we actually wanted to hear at the rest of the reception. I paid half of my deposit as well for my daughters sweet 15th $550.00 and they too took my money and disappeared. No response from my emails, phone calls or voicemails. Then suddenly phone number and website not active. I made a complaint to Better Business Bureau and they did not respond to them. I made a credit card dispute and did not respond until today! Like really!!! You can respond to a dispute but you can't respond to me. This is a disgusting sick company taking money from people. I am a single mother of 4 trying to give my daughter a Quinceanera and they do this to us, especially during this Crisis. This company is a fraud and untrustworthy and i better get my money back! I would give 0 stars if I could! This place is a joke! They provided zero photographers when they were suppose to have 2 for the wedding! One was suppose to be there by 10:30am. When 11 rolled around and there was no sign of a photographer we called and they said they would be sure to send someone out right away. No one showed up. Again there was no sign of a photographer so we called the company multiple times and left multiple voicemails leaving us in a panic as to who we could find to provide photography last minute for a once in a lifetime wedding. I used their DJ service for my sons 13th B-Day in October. The DJ was the best, we had a tent rented in the yard and he managed to keep 46 13 year olds engaged at all times. He was courteous arrived an hour and a half before time to set up lights and a work station and he kids had a great time. I have used premier before this event and while the office can have a few gliches we were always able to address issues quickly. Wow, Steven Thomas must like taking our money. I hired a DJ / Karaoke on 07-18-13 for an event I was holding on 10-19-13. I specifically requrested 60's & 70's music selection. I paid in full when I received their contract on 07-18-13. I received a phone call 1 month before the event from some DJ that they outsourced. I was unaware of that. I verified that he received my information and the music was for the 60's & 70's. He said yes and to provide him with a music list. I provided him with a list on 09-16-13. When he showed on 10-19-13 i verified he had the music list. He showed it to me. Once he set up and started playing, he played hip hop music. On numerous occasions I requested him to play from the music list I had provided him. He kept telling me he was loading it. Loading it? That should have been loaded before he even arrived. This was for a beef & beer cancer fund raiser. My pops died from cancer just a few month ago and I was raising money on his behalf. My pops loved his oldies that is why I specifically requested 60's & 70's music. He did not like or listen to hip hop. I was 100% offended by the music selection and service I received. I just put in a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. I hope someone does something in regards to this matter as it seems like I'm not the first person who filed this complaint. I am a DJ and this company doesn't pay it's DJ's. I did a gig for Christmas 2013 and still have not been paid 8 months later. They do not answer calls or emails and you will never get a last name out of anyone. Total SCAM ARTIST. read more

We also are having problems with Premier not paying the subcontractor for wedding videography. The subcontractor (who was not professional in his dealings with our primary photographer) is refusing delivery and we have paid $450 to Premier. Repeated calls are going unanswered and we refuse to pay more directly to a videographer who left a LOT to be desired. A consumer complaint has been filed with the Minnesota Attorney General's office (as a start) naming Premier, the booking agency that directed us to them, and the subcontractor. read more

We recently attended a wedding where premier event services was the DJ. It was bad. Lots of issues but the worst was that they PLAYED ALL THEIR MUSIC OFF YOUTUBE!! What!? Yes, youtube. We heard commercials, we'd get pauses in the music while it buffered. Not much of what the bride and groom requested was played and the bride was pretty sad most of the reception. read more
