I took my car to Excalibur Detail for a little TLC, and let me tell you, it's like they waved a magic wand and made it look brand spanking new. I got a full interior and exterior detail, topped off with the dazzling Fireball Ceramic Coating. I didn't even realize my bumper had a reflection until today. It's so pretty, like it's been sprinkled with fairy dust and sparkles like glitter in the sunlight! Now, when I cruise down the highway my car turns into a silver bullet. I'm convinced I'm blinding people with its mirror like reflection. People had better start investing in sunglasses because this car might just burn their retinas! I tried taking pictures of my car and I could barely handle the sun glaring back at me. You can practically see my entire neighborhood in the reflection! But the real Wizards of the show are Taylor and Jazz. These two are the heroes of this car detailing adventure, and they're as wonderful as they come. When we brought the car in, it was a tiny small area, the size of a mole. After getting resin in the area, the chip looks way worse. There are whisker like lines coming out now in two different directions. I called and they said to bring the car in. So I did. They said there was nothing they could do since the resin was already in. My issue is that these whiskers or whatever the technical term for these lines on the glass were not there before the repair. And since having the repair, they are getting longer. The whiskers reflect the sun in a horrible way. The tall guy with reddish hair (name ????) was an a--hole. Excuse my language. My car is a frequent victim and so I often need repairs. After being sideswiped on a snowy evening last December, Carstar Riverside fixed up my Mazda as good as new. The repair job was great, and the customer service was excellent. It is not one of those intimidating car repair shops. Believe me, I've been to those...where the very air is thick with condescension. It isn't like that at this place. Just last month I was hit again, this time by the USPS and Carstar was first on my list for getting an estimate. The process took 20 minutes at most and everyone there was friendly and professional.

I understood that with all the ice it could take a little while. after weeks go by I went back and they told me that it was going to be a while longer because they only had one lift to work on the vehicles that are not drivable. I called the insurance company and voiced my concern about finding another shop and they were against that and even said I could have to pay a restocking fee for the parts, so I reluctantly left my vehicle there. A few weeks go by and no one called or contacted us to give any kind of update unless we called and complained about how slow the work was being done. Last week they said it would be ready on Friday provided that the sensor came in for the repair to be complet, so today I was shocked to find out that Carstar actually called and told my wife that the vehicle would not be ready due to a cable kit being needed and it would be wednesday this following week. the insurance company has paid for a rental up until the 9th of this month so it has been an inconvenience for us only having one vehicle for the last two weeks so by the time I will actually get my vehicle back it will have been 44-45 days to me this seems a bit excessive. I don't have money floating around to pay for a rental for 18 days. needless to say this is my way of letting others know not to take your vehicle to the riverside Mo Carstar if it is not drivable they only have one lift and it will take a while if anyone is in front of you to get service. Lacking in communication about only having one lift I would of gone somewhere else.
