Found a car that I liked. Battery was bad. I was told not to shut if off on my test drive. I liked it. Called Steve's Auto Care that is 3mi down the road to do a pre-purchase inspection. Called Eugene at Premiere to let him know when my appointment was to have the car inspected at Steve's Auti Care. I come in right when Premiere opens on the day I have pre-scheduled to take the car to the mechanic for a check. It's 9am. Eugene is not there. At 9:20 I am told he is not coming. I ask to get the car. They can't get the door unlocked nor the car started (never put the new battery in). They did not pull the car around until 10:30 am. Hour wait for them to get the door unlocked and the car jumped. Told they would put a new battery in and fix the door lock. Steve's Auto Care was great. They test drove the vehicle and did their inspection on the vehicle. Radiator leaking. Back brakes scraping. Front brakes worn down to 25% even though car fac had said they had been recently replaced. Struts and shocks bad. And loud rattling noise on transmission. It was a 2015 honda civic (maroon color) with 89k miles for $12,995. The quote at the mechanics was for apprx $3,100 dollars not including what might be wrong with the transmission. I talked to the lady when i got back and showed her the report and asked what she could do as far as fixing these problems. She shook her head no as there was nothing more she could do for me. I had cash money to buy the vehicle on the spot and i had a trade in vehicle. I took off the morning from work which i lost 6 hours of work by time i got there. I was out $71 dollars from the pre-inspection, and the gas money to go to milford twice (first for test drive, and second to purchase vehicle if all went well with the pre inspection of the vehicle. All is good and well because the moral of this story is that i was about to purchase a lemon and it is well worth the few small losses that i am out of instead of losing $13,000 dollars. ALWAYS DO A PRE-INSPECTION AT A QUALIFIED MECHANIC BEFORE PURCHASING A USED VEHICLE!!! I was disappointed to see that Premiere Auto took no interest at all in trying to remedy this situation with me and it is sad to think that they will most likely still try to sell this lemon to someone else.​ read more

Refinanced the car shortly after buying it. They tried to tell me I couldn't get a refund on the gap insurance I purchased...I know better! Been in accounting for 4+ decades. The bank THEY financed me through sent me a letter clearly stating to apply for a refund for any gap insurance or extended warranty's purchased. THEIR bank also sent me a letter clearly stating Premier Automotive was to cut me a check for the unused portion of the gap insurance on 11-11-25. This is 12-4-25 and I still haven't received the refund. I originally applied the refund in August 2025. I would NOT recommend this place of so called business to anyone!!! They said they had done an inspection of the car and that it would be a safe car for our daughter. We put a deposit so we could take the car to our mechanic. He found so much rust underneath the car that had deteriorated to the point that it can never be repaired. When I asked about a refund or transfer of the deposit towards another car they said no because during the time we had it for the mechanic they could have sold it. I went in for a trade of my 2014 Ford Fusion for a 2010 Buick Lacerne. I was honest about engine light and they haggled 500 off the reasonable ask after having inspection. Wasn't a big deal, but took their 10k car for inspection at Jessie's Auto nearby due to a noise I heard on the interstate... Jessie was honest. 2010 is going to have some wear and tear for the age of it. I ignored the rusted brake lines, old tires, countless codes and was only concerned over the fresh oil leaking from the seal. I told my wife we can't ask for that to be taken off the price. Came back with the car and asked for either half of the price of repair to be taken off the car, or for them to fix it wherever they please. WOULD NOT BUDGE!!! I'm walking away with 3 kids at home and a wife who clears 6 figures like me. They're going to sell it to someone in worse shape. Do whatever you want, just do your homework wherever you end up. I think there are some great deals that Premier Automotive Group offers but you have to read the fine print. Be aware, the prices they have listed online ARE NOT the same at the dealership and unless you scroll to the very bottom of the vehicle listing you will not know that. Also, I worked with London who is one of their tenured salespersons and she was extremely rude. I would not recommend anyone work with her. I overheard her use a racial slur as she spoke about another customer (who was working with someone else), she was visibly frustrated with the questions I asked and tried to avoid answering them, she was pushy, and she did not make any effort to ask any details about what I was looking for in a vehicle. Lastly, she accidentally called me back while working with another customer and when they left (without signing) she spoke about them negatively and then followed up with speaking about me negatively too. She did not realize she called me, I sat and listened to her conversation for nearly 40 minutes. After driving maybe a hundred miles , the vehicle went into the reduced power safety mode . I called the dealership to see if theyd help in any way . They said no , all vehicles are sold as is . I bought a Mazda3 from them back in May. I wrote a check, and they said they would mail the title after the check cleared. No big deal, the paper plate was good until July 1st. Roland was great to deal with while we were there. We got there before closing, and he stayed late to close the sale. The last week of June, we called the dealership asking where the paperwork and title were. They said they mailed it, and wouldn't give any further info. I did some reading, and the IN BMV said out of state paperwork can be mailed to them. I went into a local branch, and they have no record of the VIN. I've been calling the dealership repeatedly this entire month, and I just keep getting told that the title clerk is on vacation out of the country, and they will call me back. I'm reestablishing my credit and I went to Premier Automotive to do that. I seen and fell in love with a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320. The Vehicle only has 50k miles on it, I've worked at Mercedes and I stand by the craftmanship of the product. I drove the vehicle and it drove like a dream. I was very excited and decided to purchase the Vehicle. I brought the vehicle on a Tuesday and by Thursday, I heard a whining noise, sounded like a power steering issue. I had my vehicle towed to Mercedes-Benz and they informed me that the Power steering is shot! I need a whole new Power steering Suite, that will cost $3800.00 to fix! After catching my breath, I was floored. That was a very dangerous situation to be in. I drove from Dayton, OH, what if the Power steering locked up on me on the highway!? I put a hefty down payment, have a car note and now have a $3800 problem. This place should be ashamed of itself for putting it's customers in this type of situation. I drove the vehicle for 2 days, that issue was there when I brought the vehicle and they sold it to me that way! How do you sleep at night knowing that you're putting your customers in danger? I guess all they care about is the money. I spoke with my salesperson, and he could care less, the finance manager, said, I have nothing to do with the cars, I just work with the bank. I only owned my car for about an hour before I heard a metallize noise coming from the engine and I took video of noise, pictures of the check engine light being on they claimed they fixed and sent it to their email and to the salesman cellphone and left many messages with no reply. After a few days of no response I called from another number and the salesman answered and I brought it to his attention and he said it was my problem even though he assured me that if anything happened in the first few days they would take care of it. That noise got louder gradually and led to the push rod shattering and blowing a hole thru the block. Buyer Beware!! I am out of state buyer for this 2012 acura. The dealer required customer to have the car inspection before they would sell it. I paid for the car inspection and the car has major rear oil seal leak. The finance manager was selling me the 2 year used car warranty. I kept asking for the fine print of the warranty several times but he showed me the one page coverage summary only. I finally added that warranty. Before sending me the paperwork, they required me to wire $350 deposit. I did wire and then paperwork and warranty fine print came. There are several unexpected fees in the bill of sales. In addition, the fine print showed the excluded items and the warranty is pretty much useless. I asked the finance manager to clarify the fee items and take out the warranty. He agreed and sent me the revised paperwork. I waited for almost 5 days and no paperwork came. I called and the finance manager said they wont continue the transactions and he said he cant do anything and can't return the deposit. They said because of delay in transaction they missed the opportunity to sell the car to other potential buyers. What a BS. The truth is that they sold the car to other buyer while our transaction is in progress and now they refused to refund my deposit. They have a shady business practice. read more

BEWARE!! If you're looking for a reliable used car, look elsewhere. This dealership is shady, and chances are if you're looking at them it's because you think you've found a great deal, a vehicle priced just below what the competition is at. Look at ALL of the reviews. Lots of 5 stars, lots of 1 stars. This says you have a 50/50 chance of having a good experience here. With as much money as you're investing in the purchase of a vehicle, you should want better odds. If they inspect the vehicles at all before selling them, they do a very poor job. Simple things overlooked. Other reviews note these cars come from rust belt states, and a quick look under them proves this point. Some of the cars have been sprayed with black undercoating to hide the rust. I went through the sales process, and they'll ask you to sign paperwork stating you'll work out any issues you have with them before you can take legal action. That's not good. I purchased a Toyota 4runner from them two weeks ago. Mark Lewis was my salesman. When I test drove it I noticed the rear suspension was very worn causing the vehicle to sway left and right on the highway. Now, I'm a DIY mechanic so this wasn't a big concern and I purchased it anyway. Not their fault, but had they test driven it first they would've noticed it and should've fixed it before selling. Honestly, for what I paid for the 4runner plus a little money to repair the suspension the cost would still be below the competition. Wrong. Once purchasing the vehicle my rear axle seals blew and ruined my brakes. This is a more complicated repair so I took it to a professional mechanic. Once my mechanic got underneath it he found the fuel tank straps had rusted away and my tank was about to drop. This would've easily been noticed if they inspected their vehicles or cared. Now, I'm $3,600 into repairs and it's not done yet. HOWEVER, this is far from the worst. We then found out the frame of the vehicle is BENT. Now this will cost a lot of money to fix if it's even worth it at all, and it's obvious that this deal was too good to be true. I got screwed. Trying to work with them is difficult. I've tried to call many times since finding all of this out, and I have to leave a message every time. No call back. Only way to get through is to call the main number, but once I said who I was they sent me to voicemail again still with no call back. This is going to be a struggle and it could have been avoided if I had the vehicle properly inspected first and paid attention to these reviews. I paid with cash, but a lot of other reviews mention endless issues trying to finance a vehicle here too. It sounds like it's impossible to have a good experience here. BIGGEST PIECE OF ADVICE: If you're looking at a car either at Premier or elsewhere, have it inspected by a 3rd party mechanic. Any dealership that has an issue with that is shady. read more

Our experience with Robert Sebastian today was abysmal. It started with a phone call to see if the two cars we wanted to test drive were still available. Robert told us he had the keys for one car, but for the second one the keys were missing. He said he'd "investigate," before going on to volunteer just how cutthroat it is and how other employees sometimes lie about where the keys are. This would later prove true after Robert ended up being a disaster and his co-worker apologized for Robert by telling us that he's going through a divorce right now. Ouch. The first car we drove was a 2014 Ford Focus. It made a weird noise while driving, and reeked of dog. Robert explained this away by saying that it's some transmission issue that Ford has already been sued for 3 times, and "they all sound like that." Not comforting. The second car was a 2014 Ford C-max hybrid. We liked this one better, nothing too glaring, though the brakes pulsed a little bit. The real issue was that it's been for sale for literally 8 months, since 9/30/20, which was sketchy to us. So we asked him for their inspection, since the CARFAX report had no recent inspection information. Robert informed us that they DON'T SHARE their inspections because the shop is "not public." Why? Because if they did, they could held liable for giving false information. OK, but why would that matter if they're an honest business anyway? He said "we can't afford the insurance, it would cost $30000." Make of that what you will. Robert told us we could get an inspection performed anywhere. He kindly offered that we could take the car wherever, as long as we brought it back by 8 PM. So we did, we took it to Milford Auto Care (10/10 highly recommend them). They found that the connection you hook a scanner up to read any error codes was not where it's supposed to be, and appears to have been hidden back behind the dash (as oppose to near the door). Very suspicious. When he finally pulled it out and connected, he found dozens of error codes, issues relating to the engine, transmission, ABS, and more. They were not current error codes, so there was no way for him to know when. You know who might know? The owner! But they don't share any of that information. In addition, the brake rotors were glazed and rusted, which explains why the brakes pulsed. The rain could've caused that, with the car sitting there unsold for 8 months. Lastly, one of the tires seemed out of alignment. In total with parts and labor he told us it would run us about $840. Armed with this information, we returned to the dealership to negotiate with Robert. Big mistake. Robert started off playing dumb about the error codes, first saying that the suspiciously hidden part"couldn't have been hidden if the mechanic found it." I told him perhaps we could clear up those error codes if they'd simply share the inspection info they had. No dice. So we moved onto the brakes. Robert first insisted that it's not a "performance" issue. He called it cosmetic. I explained that the brakes pulsed and that's clearly a performance and safety issue. He actually asked us to DRIVE HIM to demonstrate the performance. Unbelievable. So we called his bluff, and took him out and showed him all the rust, and then got in the car and started driving him. WITHIN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES he announced that whoops, he forgot about another client who was out on a test drive and so he needed to return to the dealership. We obliged. I reiterated our concerns, at which point he told me "I think it would be best if we found you a new salesman. From this point we can just be friends. Is that ok with you?" I really had no idea how to respond to this, so I told him "whatever you think is best." I then started "it's just that from our perspective-" at which point he cut me off and said in a very soft and pouty voice, I KID YOU NOT, "I don't want to talk about it, just drive me back." We drove back in silence. Another salesperson apologized and told us about the divorce. She refused to budge on the price. We shook hands and left. read more

I bought a car from them as is and I told them when looking at the car that I smelt mildew and the car sales man right away, Craig, told me that he was Forsure it was just because they left the window down. Said it confidently, which made me believe that it was only a minor issue, like all I gotta do is air it out and it will be okay. Well with not even owning the car for a week it's pouring raining, I wake up from my friends house and there's puddles in my car! So immediately I call them because they lied. When I get there they claim they didn't know anything about a leaking problem. I doubt that. If you don't know much about the car, don't sell it then. I wanted my money back and they refused. So they offered to reseal it so it won't flood anymore but didn't even have the decency to even get the water out of my car. So of course my car sat in the hot sun all day with all the windows up and got humid and moist inside the car and now smells like mildew and mold. Thanks to you guys I have to waste money on an issue that you guys should have taken care of. Don't buy from these people, they obviously don't know what they are doing even if they claim they didn't know that issue was there. You shouldn't be selling a car to anyone without making sure the car is fixed or warning customers before hand of any issues. read more

Very untrustworthy. Within days of purchasing a car, the brakes/wheel starts making a noise. We have had the car there to repair the brakes/wheel multiple times. They do not have a manager and was told that the owner is too busy to speak to customers. We have spoken to Mark , our salesman, and Phil with no resolution. We are not allowed to speak to the service department or allowed to have a service technician ride with us.
